I really love watching Fedkovic matches... The time when I was watching the most tennis was when Nadal was out and all the finals were fought by Federer and Djokovic
I have been a Federer fanboy since childhood but you gotta admit - Novak's groundstrokes here itself is clearly more superior than Rogers'. Roger has more variety with the slice and superior net game but it was a weird feeling watching the highlights where it seemed like Roger was the one more likely to make a mistake.
Novak is hitting higher risk less top spin shots here. If you see from court view, you will see how much more top spin Roger generates making returns more difficult. Also Roger was already beginning to develop his forehand into a loopier one like Nadal to beat him in the french open, which kinda hurt his game against everyone else.
Nole had already then these special things which made him great champin in the future; also his rivalery with roger in this first match seems their most importante meetings (but this time nole had three matchballs to save, later only two:)
Federer won major slams during the period when his opponents were ageing Agassi, Sampras, Safin, Henmen, Davydenko and then similar aged players like Roddick. He stopped winning rapidly once Nadal & Djokovic came in their prime.

Main characteristics of their games: Federer: The most agressive player in history! Always going forward and taking the ball really early, subsequently giving the opponent no steady time and and hitting a higher amount of winners than any other player. Just look at the statistics. Djokovic: Although you can't see variation on his game or many winners, he's a player that is very consistent shot by shot, always trying to hit deeper balls in order to make life difficut for the opponent, mainly with the backhand, forcing him to make the mistake. Furthermore, he doesn't give up real easy, huh?!
@@MrPernell27 Of course he is! Every player that has faced Roger knows that he doesn't give you any steady time, mainly because he takes the ball real early and break the rhythm really fast. Even Agassi that is considered one of the most aggressive players, due to his similar style, has said that against Roger you can never know when he's gonna try to hit a winner because he's so unpredictable and can hit it from anywhere.

Nole was a beast even in his very young phase (18 years old here, born 22 May 1987), against prime Federer. Great match in three sets. This match was already like a final for Nole. It was the 1st round against Federer, the finalist who lost 6-2, 6-7(2-7), 6-3, 7-6(7-5) VS Nadal (23 April 2006). (Thanks, Wikipedia.) In 2013 Djoker defeated Nadal at Monte-Carlo in the final, score: 6-2, 7-6(7-1).
Federer as early as 2004 ( here in 2006 ) has a weight in his shoulders to deliver week in and week out. He was already been tagged to be the GOAT this early. Not taking away from the other 2, but they dont have the expectation and pressure Federer had when he's on top back then. Roger did very well considering those circumstances, he could have won more if not for those mental burdens...
He could also have completed the calendar slam several times but he was denied by Nadal in RG or the golden slam in 2004, before Nadal reached the level of 2005 onwards that we all know.
After every match of Federer vs Djokovic some of their fans start making literally non sense excuses about their age like really!! It's not Rogers fault that he is older than Djokovic and neither Djokovic's that Federer is still not retired and playing at such a high level. Just love the rivalry between the two and stop giving these bullshit excuses who is better and who's not!!!

Oh and not to mention Djokovic being actually not bad at the net.
Djokovics groundstrokes aren’t superior than Federers. Nowadays he has more margin because he has a better movement than Federer .
Someone come get their nephew... God tennis fans can be so annoying
Nole had already then these special things which made him great champin in the future; also his rivalery with roger in this first match seems their most importante meetings (but this time nole had three matchballs to save, later only two:)

How did you reach the conclusion that he is stuck up? Just because he doesn't utter a word at the net.
Main characteristics of their games:
Federer: The most agressive player in history!
Federer the most aggressive player in history? I guess you never watched a tennis match played before 2000.
@@MrPernell27 Of course he is! Every player that has faced Roger knows that he doesn't give you any steady time, mainly because he takes the ball real early and break the rhythm really fast.
