Thank you very much this has solved my absurd delay on reverse throttle. If someone has trouble on connection issues I solved mine by adjusting / realignment of the ics cable pins to the USB Dasmikro module.
Nice to see someone enabled 'write' to the EVO. This must be relatively new as prior apps wouldn't let you write to EVO, if they did, they had could brick your board and Kyosho doesn't support it if bricked by unauthorized ICS app. If I recall, all the prior apps still function for the ASF, MHS, VE Pro chassis. Sucks for IOS users though. I used to carry around a used Galaxy just for the ICS apps but ditched that when I shifted all my older chassis out for EVO.
Hello and thank you for the helpful content! Is it typical to have a reverse “delay” with mini z’s? I have box stock mr03’ s and an evo mr03 and they all seem to have this delay. Some worse than others and not predictable. Or perhaps I just need to improve my driving so I don’t need reverse! Lol
@@WTFRCCars thanks for your reply. I have forward then I can press reverse a bunch of times and nothing happens. With the throttle total at neutral I have to turn the steering wheel and let it go, sometimes once or twice, then hit reverse. Then it works.
Excellent Video! I see a few extra features on the TH tab like LowA, LowB, and LowC as well as Brake Time Constant. These dont appear in the PC ICS manager. Do you know what they do?
i looked for the app on a android device and only found the ics, not the evo ics, when i installed the ics app en opened it, it said that maybe it would not function properly because the android version was to recent; i have tried a bleutooth version on the same phone and did not work, the apps seemed to only work with older android versions
The iPhone is very limited when it come to apps like this one unfortunately, I run tune ECU for re mapping the motorbike fuel map and that too is only android.

Yeh it makes a big difference to how it drives
this saved me on the MR04, thank you!
This is incredibly useful! I downloaded the app in anticipation of my MA030Evo preorder arriving at some point. Thanks for your work👍
Again thank you

So you have forward then the 1st press of reverse is brake then press again for reverse

Check your dead zone on the throttle maybe worth increasing it a little so the ESC knows its at centre position :) this may help
thanks
Great tip. Thank you very much.
No probs 👍

Tbh I haven't had much of a chance to dig into it but if I find out I'll let you know :)
Normal cable usb or cable otg usb?
Your definitely going to need an otg as your connecting the usb programmer to a mobile device :)

I'm running Android 11 on a Asus Rog phone 2 and it works fine.
This is the app I run

What gyro is compatible with ma-030 awd?
I’m hoping this will work for iPhone 14?
Don't think you can get the app for iPhone or use the usb otg cables
they have this for IOS yet?
No I doubt apple will ever get this as Bluetooth is locked down on iOS devices
Where can I get the cable for connection to an android mobile phone?
They are just usb otg cables
