Download the ko propo driver. It's for the older version on the kopropo website. I think there might be a link for it on the kyosho website. Ill see if I can get the link. kopropo.com/america/support/ics-interactive-communication-system/
@@BMR3 hope you got it working. I recently got my ma-030 evo and have been using it stock with the KT-432PT, whenever I have the gyro plugged, it does this throttling. Anyways, got myself the ics connector, installed the drivers. Ran the software, selected the correct port, it took a few tries for it to read the board, but finally did. I’m still not sure if the settings are active. You can bind via bother FHSS or miniz Evo, if you bind via FHSS it runs the default board settings, no control over the gryro or what so ever. If you bind it via EVO, you can control the gyro via channel 3, but then the gyro throttling is not active. I’m not planning to have the gyro throttling on, but just wanted to figure out why binding FHSS vs EVO have so different characteristics. If you gents know or can shed some light on this, it would be great.
The gyro throttle is controlled via channel 4. Steering gyro ch3. Whem you have synchro tx yo u set these from the tx. The ics only alters these of using a stock 2 channel radio. If using a non kyosho tx like the nb4 you can still alter these from the tx. So any settings you write to the car are over ridden by the tx. Hope this helps.
How did you manage to get it connected to pc, I keep getting communication error. I installed the drivers and they are recognised by my laptop. It just doesn’t connect to the car, is there some sort of procedure to get the car on pairing mode?
Check you have correct version. I will do a video soon to help. Goto the kyosho website check for latest version it should give you option of mhs or fhss on top right
@@GarageMiniRCUK there was only one version on the koyosho site, MR-03 evo version which I think is the same one as the Ma030, Iv got the the dasmikro ics and gyro, Yeah might be a good idea to do a vid, Iv looked everywhere and there’s not much info on this, thanks loads on your replies youv helped loads
@@GarageMiniRCUK got it to work finally, I was forgetting to select the port num from within the tuning app on the computer drop down icon. Worked fine after that, was playing around with the settings, for some reason when I put the reverse time to 5 this fixed the reverse issue for me putting it to 0 just made the delay worse the rest of the options seem to work as normal. Iv also got some weird steering noise from when I purchased the chassis, it always screeches everytime I try to turn the car even if the wheels arnt touching the ground. little or big input, slow or fast still makes the same noise. You have any ideas or is this normal? I tried playing about with all the settings and reducing the steering deadband to 0 which made it screech as soon as you turn car on without any steering input, and moving it to 10 didn’t make any difference compared to the factory default settings of 3. Sounds like the steering motor is struggling but looks like it’s working as normal.
Yes sure. I had same issue at start. Make sure your reciever chip is clicked in properly on your evo board if this is not locked down it won't bind . I'm going to Google the instructions for futaba.check your software is upto date on futaba.
Followed all directions for the ics lead to my ma020evo have it all hooked up and when I try and write my settings I want it Keeps saying check connection ? I’ve unplugged it turned car in car off re installed driver and nothing any idea right direction to fix thanks man !!
@@GarageMiniRCUK yes it set up to com port 3 and is reading but when I go to write to car says it says check connection. I have no idea where to go from here
Yes, but you need to buy the lead. I have seen on some forums that you can make one yourself. I got mine from bangood.com it's a fraction of cost of the official kyosho one.
Hey brotha I’m may be stupid but how did you set up the software ? Shits a nightmare
I still can’t get my computer to recognize the car when I plug it in... I’ve just been using the car bone stock. The reverse feature drives me crazy

Use the latest version of the evo ics software. You'll need the ko propo driver( from ko website ).
hello.i have the same car and i want ask if this settings is only for drift
Some of them yes. Depends on if running on a big track with grip tyres.
Is there a setting where you can increase the LED Turn off time? Mine just instantly turns off when I let go of the throttle. Sports 2
Not really, I'll have a look myself

It's not easy. I am working on a video. A lot of it is down to the USB drivers and ports. It took me a while.
