Cat from walk to pacing

The walk gait is one foot off the ground at a time. The cat moves into a pacing gait with the right front and right rear on the ground at the same time followed by the left rear and left front on the ground together.
The walk is a 4 beat gait, the pace is a 2 beat faster gait. Some would call this "running". Running should be a cantor or a gallop which are faster than a pace or trot gait which are the 2 beat gaits.
