    Thank you!
The Continual Lockdowns paired with my habits caused me to have depression.
TCM got me out of it.
    I am now Myself again.
    And I live again.
    In balance.

Excellent video! Id be interested in an elaboration video for people who deal with both. I often go through cycles of anxiety or depression, sometimes even feel both at the same time! I think usually its like, anything I have to "figure out" causes anxiety, and once I feel like "I cant do it" I get depressed. Luckily things like meditation, prayer, movement, improving negative self-beliefs, and connection with other people have improved my symptoms, but it still is a challenge to deal with both regularly. I also wonder about the advantageous side of these illnesses. For instance, the fact that I lay down and avoid stuff when it feels like too much to handle is probably roughly a good thing. And even though it might take a while, usually by the time I get up again I don't feel quite as overwhelmed, having gone through some sort of internal shift via the rest. But the overwhelm does come back. I think it is definitely a process of gradual healing, with some leaps skattered throughout. I am interested in your / TCM's take on the importance of pairing physical treatments with spiritual ones, for instance, if you have ideas about how to speed up or slow down the mind as well as the body. In my experience, in order to change behavior, internals must be changed first. Thanks again!

Same here. I've been going on like this for years and just changed the dosage for my antidepressants and, while depression is now controlled, anxiety is through the roof most days and it makes it very hard to do anything and it's just exhausting -_- Either I can sleep for 10 hours straight and still need a nap or sleep like trash.

I was diagnosed with damp heat by my TCM doctor. I’ve learned some acupuncture points through research that help and I do them every day, I had a course of herbs from him, and have changed my diet to vegetarian and dairy free which he recommended. I’ve felt so much better since, I finally have solid stools despite suffering with IBS and feel so much less anxious. Anxiety really feels like it stems from the abdomen. Feel so much better and even if you don’t feel comfortable doing your own acupuncture, you can do acupressure on those points

There are plenty of people who have both depression and anxiety though, how do we address that?
