I have never been to Seiyu, but I have been to Walmart (^_^) I ordered the Honey Butter chips on Amazon so I can try the food too. Thank you Mama for making fun videos. Interesting question about how to pronounce konjac. It could go either way but I lean toward the way the robot pronounced it because it is not the same thing as cognac which is pronounced the way Stewie suggested. Cognac is alcohol while konjac is both a food and can be used a tool. Because they are officially spelled different and used for different things it’s better to pronounce them differently to be easier to understand even if they could follow the same rules of pronunciation. So, while it is complicated, it does come down to a matter of preference. The word will be most easily understood when pronounced the way the robot did so I recommend using that pronunciation.
