I just found this video of the fordson, Have one myself. A 1920, no fenders. I spent a lot of time on dealing with stuck engines and eventually got it freed up and boiught valves from the fordson house back in 1990, Ive never gotten to finish it however but i always have kept it garaged and out of the weather for the last 30 plus years. It’s my life project that i will see run one day . Cannot figure out the oil drip tube inside for the timing gears to get oil. Your fordson looks great and sounds excellent
My Dad has messed with model T’s and A’s his whole life racing rebuilding modifying and since 58 I’ve been there watching and helping, well I thought I was helping. Dad figured out a way to balance a model A motor, we did a few for a parts supplier for A’s and now I see them popping up here or there that have been copied but oh well we are still building them for guys, they get so smooth you can set your beer on them and not spill. Right now he’s building a model A overhead valve engine for racing in Florida. I’m going to take a video and post the assembly of that motor as he assembles it, we are currently waiting for the high compression pistons out of California
Really enjoy the videos, we have a 19ish Fordson that is fully restored but hasn't moved in 30 years. My grandfather spoke the Fordson language but was he has passed. Trying to learn all I can.
Robert H I had never worked on one of these Fs before, so this has been a wonderful learning experience. I’m not an expert but if you have any questions about yours feel free to ask. I’ll do my best.
@@AntiqueCarsandStuff Thanks! I figured it cranked like my model A. Full retard on the advance and lots of primer fuel. I will have to clean the buzz boxes though, no battery all magneto. It's also sitting on rubber but still have the steel wheels

Thanks Chris. I love this tractor. Hope you get yours running someday.

Nice work.
Nothing wrong with that, again well done. Have you checked the flywheel magneto or, do you intend to always use the battery?
Yes, I just checked the magneto voltage (see video), and will be posting another video when I attempt to run it on mag.
