@@ericwilliamsfishing Same here, I got out there early this year as I am being lazy getting the kayak cleaned up and ready. Been great for VA mullet and Black drum and even had a few gray trout as well.
Some nice whiting dude!! I fished the falling tide Sunday when the wind calmed down. No whiting, just a bunch of blues and some black drum. Can’t wait to get back!
I appreciate it buddy. Yeah, it seems like we finally have some consistent quality fish hanging around and it gets me jacked up for the remainder of spring.

Great video man. I was out there at fisher today. I was looking for the 4 runner but turns out youve got a new ride. I fished from 10-4. I caught a 17 inch flounder and a handful of decent whiting. I was hoping for a black drum but never showed up.
It’s more work for me too but I try not to take it out on him. He loves the beach more than any other place so I kinda have to let him get his zoomies out when we first arrive and then I can fish. Haha.

im going to ocean isle nc late November to early December qnd im wondering if the surf fishing will be any good and what to throw and what rigs im new to surf fishing and i rlly wanna catch some flounder, shark, redfish if you can help it would be great thank you

It seems like this storm last weekend threw things off but we shouldn’t be far from good pomps and nicer sea mullet.

Nice that you can fish with your dog. My dog will go after the the fish when reeling in. I love to take her along but it's more work involved.

I really hope the whiting are biting more this year. Last year they seemed nonexistant.

Yeah, thats arguably when its best. Spring and fall. You need cable if you are trying to catch a big shark though.
