Good Luck! and thank you
Wow! I didn't know that there were so many places to access the water at Topsail. Thanks for pointing them out Neil 👍👍👌
No problem 👍
Thanks for the video and information
My pleasure
nice. lot of access to fish from..some nice looking spots for sure
Thanks Brother!!
I gotta give it to the city of Topsail Beach for buying all these lots on the sound to provide access points for paddlers and land based anglers. As far as land based angling, most of these look pretty tough to fish from the bank, while the surrounding properties on either side have long piers. The city needs to build even longer piers on thier properties, then theyd be better for anglers. If you paddle or wade out youll be better off, and I've caught a lot of fish on those long piers, but it is too shallow right onshore.
I grew up mostly surf city holly ridge. Now I’m in Jacksonville. I’ve been fishing more in swansboro because of the paid parking rules.
I didn’t know that IT’s changed so much. It’s been a few years since I’ve been down that way. I appreciate your video. Now I know where I can fish without paying for parking 😂and where I can put my kayak out !
What a great video, man I've fished the south end for years and never knew they were there, thanks for all you do.
Thank You!
Thanks for this!!! We have been wondering where all the access points were!
Great video cap. I've fished a couple of them but never knew the others were therr. I amy be doing that next weekend
Might see you down there.
Really appreciate you sharing this.
My pleasure!
This is great information! Thank you!
Your very welcome!
We've been hittin the Hines ln public acess.
Ill check out that #2 spot this weekend.
Thanks for the tips!
Good luck!
@@DueSouthFishing headed out here in a few!
Thanks!
Catch anything? I’m headed there this weekend
@@b3sk3ptic A few Whiting and Pompano last weekend. Good luck!
@b3sk3ptic I'll be honest.. we ain't caught nothin other than dang pin fish, at the Hines spot.
Much better luck in the surf or on the Seaview pier.
Thanks for sharing, is it all paid Peking during the summer?
No, The only paid parking in Topsail Beach is at the very south end at serenity point, all the areas I visited are free parking, could change in the future. I’m not a big fan of the paid parking.
@@DueSouthFishing ah yes I’ve been there and saw someone get ticketed!
Crazy I had no idea so many places
Thanks for the video!
Since it is access points, can we fish all day/night or is there a closing time?
Some of the areas do say "No parking from dusk to dawn" but not all.
@@DueSouthFishing Thank you
How is the crabbing or where are good spots for crabbing
About anywhere you can get access to is going to have some crabs. I really don't do a lot of crabbing.
It took me a week to find access 2 on google maps just going of by landmarks i saw in another video on youtube just to come across your video where your giving the location of them lol.. well now let me ask you where can i catch some sea urchins im from Charlotte i would like to go straight to fishing, or even a good bait shop where i can buy live shrimp or fiddler crabs
Check out One stop bait and tackle at the main land side of the Surf City Bridge.
If a girl was planning on taking a February workation to the area (meaning no boat) this weekend, is there enough going on rn to justify the extra effort to fish? Seems like such a shame to be so close and not try . . .
I have been catching some trout but it has been slow. Even if you don't catch anything it's still nice to pitch a line in the water and gather your thoughts..
@@DueSouthFishing thanks! This video was very helpful btw, we’ve done a lot of hvac in that area lately and finding a decent place to park/fish out of town when you only have a few hours to begin with is always the hardest part.
What size shrimp do you have? 1/4 or 1/2.. Thanks
I try and keep it 1/4 oz and lower in 2 to 4 feet of water, of course in deeper water you may need to go heavier.
Which time of year is best time to fish there if you want to catch red drum
Spring and fall but I've seen some nice ones caught this summer.
TY U' betcha LuV T/sail bch alot sub'd also
So is this water considered a bay or sound?
Sound.
I'm not much of a water guy so beach fishing is my bag.
Nothing wrong with that.
