What's the dps for this please cuz I'm using this build with all the cp points max and its about 35k I've seen builds up to 48k dps but I can't see the cp points making up 12k dps
I just came to say thank you so much for this build. I've been playing for three years and I never thought I would ever clear vMA and last night both my friend and I finally cleared it. As you said on the UESP with Lotus, it really is a rite of passage and without this build I doubt it would have ever happened. I work full time and only have maybe 2-3 hours a day (max) to play. So playing with this build has made the game fun again and opened up so much higher end content to me. Thank you!!!
Just got back to ESO after like, 3 years, and I must say. This looks freaking incredible! I remember always following your guides back in the days. You are truly amazing!
Every time I take a break from ESO and come back randomly months later I always know hacktheminotaur has the goated builds for a guy like me who just wants to solo while doing group content once in awhile, cannot say how much i appreciate this channel and videos going on many years now
I'm running Oakensoul, Deadly Strike, Relequen and one light Slimecraw and the Thief mundus stone. CP uses Fighting Finesse, Master-at-Arms, Weapons Expert and Thaumaturge. Stats (unbuffed) - max mag 29110, max stam 13021, max health 18678, weapon/spell dam 5051, spell crit 53.4%, spell resistance 19998, physical resistance 19272 and crit damage 40%.
Im using a really similar build, but with storm master instead of noble duelist. I prefer the ability to nuke from range without losing dmg. Essential in vMA, for instance, so you can handle some of the mechanics easier. Blockade of storms, honor the dead, elemental susceptibility, living dark and radiant glory. Thunderous rage for ulti, and im just using stam pots when needed. With that setup I can farm maelstrom and vateshran on vet easily. Caltrops is overkill in my opinion, since most packs of mobs melt so fast anyway. Elemental susceptibility adds status effects as well, and has a longer duration, so even if its single target, I feel it works much better.

So quick question/thought. Wouldn’t Deadly Strike be a better option for the increased channeled damage. I don’t understand why nobody includes this in a one bar heavy attack build when a lightning staff is the weapon of choice.
Last I checked Deadly Strike does not buff the final hit, which is a huge loss of damage. Heavy attack sets like sergeants buff all the damage ticks including the final one.
Quick question, why would you want to put all of your points into magika? Being a heavy attack build you’d think that always being at full magika wouldn’t be a problem right? Wouldn’t it be better to put some points into health to make yourself a little beefier?
Could someone help me with the thought process behind the 6 light pieces, is it because Noble duellist is his chosen set? I know one of the alternative sets in the written guide is medium. I currently only have Sergeants Mail and do not wish to farm another dungeon for a second set so I am using Orders Wrath, but since that is available in all 3 weights is Light still really the way to go? do we really need the penetration? because we do not really need it for the Magicka regen
Thx!! Ran this build today and have to say it hits pretty hard. I was very suprised with the survivability. I used a sergeants frost staff. Not sure if thats bad but it held up just fine. Enjoyed not having to use sweeps! Nice build 🙂
Any reason to use slimecraw head over shoulders? I swapped the shoulders to slimecraw and use PoN head because I’m definitely not ready for vet dungeons
Hack I gotta ask because it feels like it has been ages, will you ever go back to the Magblade Vampire build and update it or create a new one? It feels like its been so long since I've seen an up to date Magblade Vamp build and as a returning player I've been struggling to figure it out all by myself.
I found your videos by accident, while returned back to play ESO after 2 years, havent done any of these builds yet but looking towards to it AND I must say that your videos are so nice. I love how you explain everything even to the last bit of current style of that character! Much love, keep doing these and best regards from Finland 🇫🇮❤
One bar builds do exist in PVP. I have a one bar ranged Magplar and alternate gear for a one bar Healplar. Both builds outperform my expectations and feel really solid. Heavy attacks aren’t a part of the idea but do help when taking out the NPCs in keeps and resources. No matter how you choose to do this always test your burst potential to see if it works for PVP.
Try 5 piece seargeants (make sure to have chest piece of sergeants in reinforced for maximum armor), then pair it with 5 pieces of knight slayer. Put an oblivion damage enchant on your staff. Oblivion damage can't be mitigated or blocked, so your heavy attacks do quite a lot of damage that cant be avoided. Pair it with javelin, which also cant be blocked/mitigated, as your spammable, and you have a potent combo. It's decent enough with just one person using it, but man on man if all four of a coordinated group are using this setup, it's almost unbeatable and is a very hard counter to the tanky healing meta in pvp.
Hack, I saw Nix Hound Howl set. Won't this also be a very good heavy build along with one of these other sets? Looks good on paper, but haven't tried it yet

Elemental drain or susceptibility from destruction staff line. You only need if u plan on doing solo content. Both those skills also offer major breach.
@@Matt-lc3bd This answer is probably better than mine. Blazing spear provides more than enough AOE. Major breach is needed, but it depends the content, if you are running overland, the Pen cap is 9500, which you can easily hit with Sharpened weapons or light arm passives. Go with Barbed trap if running overland, Ele Sus if you are doing dungeons or trials.
@@kgm4556 yea major breach is brought to most group by the tank. So in group content major breach isn't really needed. You only need it solo content. Just like u said overland u can hit pen cap easy running lover mundus and allocated cp stars.
Would recommend using Storm Master over Noble Duelist simply to get the extra damage from heavy attacks. Medium armor passives are also better than light armor passives, and since it's a heavy attack build, you don't need the sustain passives from the light armor.
Hey Hack! Got an idea I would love to get some input on. I'm working on a Solo Build Stamina Vampire warden. I love the vampire but hate the magika abilities of things like the destruction staff. Hey can you make this build Race: Khajiit or Dark Elf Mundus Stone: Shadow or Lover Food: Max Health and Max Stamina food Potions: Weapon Power pots (Weapon Crit, Weapon Damage, Stamina) Gear: - 5x Relequen (Cloudrest trial set, 2 body pieces, 3 jewelry) - 5x Tzogvin's Warband (Frostvault dungeon set, 1 body piece, 1 weapon, 3 jewelry) - 2x Selene's or Velidreth (Monster sets) Weapons: - Dual wield daggers (with Nirnhoned trait) - Bow (with Infused trait) Skills: Dual Wield: - Bloodthirst - Surprise Attack - Killer's Blade - Rending Slashes - Flurry - Incapacitating Strike (Ultimate) Bow: - Endless Hail - Poison Injection - Relentless Focus - Shadowy Disguise - Arrow Barrage - Soul Tether (Ultimate) Rotation: - Start with your bow bar and use Endless Hail on the enemy - Switch to your dual wield bar and use Relentless Focus, then use Surprise Attack to apply Major Fracture to the enemy - Use Rending Slashes to apply a bleed effect, then use Flurry until the enemy is at low health - Finish the enemy off with Killer's Blade Use your Ultimate, Incapacitating Strike, when it is ready. This build should give you good damage output and sustain in both PvE and PvP content. Make sure to keep Relentless Focus up as much as possible for the extra damage and sustain. Use Shadowy Disguise to escape danger or reposition yourself. The Tzogvin's Warband set will give you extra penetration and the Relequen set will increase your damage output.
Also, something I do on a lot of my builds is use The Lover mundus stone for solo play for the extra penetration but I switch to the The Thief mundus stone for group content where penetration bonuses are usually provided by the group so you can make use of extra crit chance instead.
Really wanna grab oakensoul because I like simple builds that work well, and I like the idea of one bar builds, but I feel it'll probably get nerfed into nothingness because of complaining players and such
nope it won't... it was techincally gutted when they added empower and took away major heroism. The item is a shadow of its former self and people only complain because of the ease of use (aka what it was made for).
It won't be nerfed. ZoS wanted this type of build to be viable, accessible to all players but not as good as endgame 2 bar builds. It's exactly where they want it. Perfectly balanced. it's a total minority who are complaining about something the doesn't effect them. Happy casuals = more players = more revenue. That's the bottom line ZoS cares about. Nerfing oakensoul would literally damage their business.
When I see a title like "Easiest x Ever!" for a One Bar Build I expect like 2 active skills with a 3rd conditional or something where the buffs only have to be reapplied every half minute or so to be honest..but maybe Im being unreasonable >_< (though not irrational as Ive said in another video it is neither viable nor fun for me with too large of a Rotation because of ADHD though if a build is more concerned with not wasting a time window to use a skill for its rotation rather than having to use skills in a hyper-specific order, then it gets suprisingly much easier after some time, if that makes sense, well, duh, in a sense, keeping up any 'beat' is simpler than keeping up one specific 'beat' after all).
Nice build. I am getting a little tiered of all the one-bar Brokensoul builds everyone is putting out. But it's hardly the content creators fault that ZOS prioritizes their PTW-Mythic-Revenue.
Ugh. Another staff build. Folks love playing in easy mode apparently. Problem with gamers today, no one wants a challenge. They want everything to be easy.

- Relentless Focus
- Shadowy Disguise
- Arrow Barrage
- Soul Tether (Ultimate)
Rotation:
- Start with your bow bar and use Endless Hail on the enemy
- Switch to your dual wield bar and use Relentless Focus, then use Surprise Attack to apply Major Fracture to the enemy
- Use Rending Slashes to apply a bleed effect, then use Flurry until the enemy is at low health
- Finish the enemy off with Killer's Blade
Use your Ultimate, Incapacitating Strike, when it is ready.
Can you be a vampire with this build or no
Dude i built this and i only have 700 penetration , how do you have over 6k ?
Do you have the light armor passive Concentration unlocked? You should have all light armor passives but that one specifically gives penetration
Also, something I do on a lot of my builds is use The Lover mundus stone for solo play for the extra penetration but I switch to the The Thief mundus stone for group content where penetration bonuses are usually provided by the group so you can make use of extra crit chance instead.
how much dps
so would you say this is better then your GOD MODE Magicka Templar Solo PVE ONE BAR Build ?
You only do extra damage to off balance if u have exploiter perk.
They already gutted it. It’s only good for HA builds now
How do you always have that much gold 😂 I’m sometimes kinda struggling over here 😅
PTS server. Mostly good for making builds and testing so you aren't wasting your time.
Been using this build for some time as Templar is useless otherwise despite what a few others say
Personally, I wish I had a third bar, but that build is amazing !! GG
If I have a Bretonian race, will it lower the damage a lot?
Not by much - still a good option.
BROKEN ONEBAR CHEESEPLAR
Where is the noob guide ):
You are mixing the group/solo skills in the video. That confuses new players like me.
This build only has 44k dps
Nice build. I am getting a little tiered of all the one-bar Brokensoul builds everyone is putting out. But it's hardly the content creators fault that ZOS prioritizes their PTW-Mythic-Revenue.
Anyone on here have extra gold i cant get ? I need to upgrade
I dunno hack, easier then HA sorc? sounds sus, more buttons to push on a templar :D
Yea sorc is ridiculous easy, passive healing with crit surge, shield if need be and pets make it op heavy att build
Nope deadly strike orders wraith purifying light Jesus Ben blazing spear crescent sweep. Pure god mod blazing spear is spamable for mobs
not bad .but not good
Could I have gold your so rich lol
Ugh. Another staff build. Folks love playing in easy mode apparently.
Problem with gamers today, no one wants a challenge. They want everything to be easy.
Who cares how other people play. Stop crying. If you don’t like it don’t play it
Wow. I didn't say I don't like the game.
You must play with staves. A lot to get so triggered.
I’m assuming you mean heavy attack build, as far as I’m aware dual wield and two-hand is nauseatingly everywhere-it seems.
In defense of Hack, using a one bar build that's not op or "easy mode" would just feel awful.
what's so difficult about displaying a dps display next to all the other mods. Intention?
So this build has less than 50k dps?
IS it possible to do any one bar build without oakensoul?
You would lose to much dps. Oakensoul adds all the buffs you get from your second bar. It is possible to one bar without oakensoul, but not viable.
