Hi EZ! It's going to be different depending on quality of gear and what not. The main thing you are focused on is the traits of the gear. So things like Reinforced on the big pieces, Nirnhoned on the small pieces, protective on the jewelry, etc. You want to get to as close as possible to 33k resistances with going over as little as possible. Youll have to play with it to find that line. You can see the armor value before you craft or retrait it so you can see how much difference it will be for each piece. It's a bit of leg work to get it done, but the good news is, you only have to do it once and its done haha.

might be a bit late to the party here, but how do you manage the end-of-arc boss fights with this setup? do you try to keep stationary and manage the shard bomb things? or keep moving and not take advantage of the poison clouds? All the other spots was smooth, just this is something that is holding my progression up.
Hi there! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. Definitely keep moving. One of the tricks to the fight is to interrupt and kill the shards immediately. Once you get in the flow of doing that, it slows the fight way down and it becomes a lot easier. It's normally those guys in the background causing people so much problems. It's not always super apparent they are there channeling their damage until you suddenly realize you are taking a ton of damage haha.
You want to reach 33k resists with green vigor rolling. Youll have to check that in game to see where the traits land at once equipped. When you are transmuting, it shows you the armor value before you confirm. Then, everyone will be different depending on qualities of gear and what not. Generally speaking, if you follow what is in the video, you should be fine.
Hi Brodi! Oh yea, quite a bit. This is overkill massively defensively for anything other than the archive. You would need to change so many things so many it more viable, that it would just make more sense to use another build. If you click "SOLO" under "PVE" and scroll just under this build, there is another 1 bar build for everything else in the game. Ive used it to get both Flawless Conqueror in vMA, Spirit Slayer in vVate, and it was even capable of soloing some 12 man trial bosses. I am taking a look at it now to see about any u41 updates, so there may be some small changes coming, but in general, its mostly still g2g.
I'm super excited to try this out! One question...i understand the need for the ice staff when things start getting rough but how much worse would it be to use lightning instead of inferno staff? Thanks as always!
Awesome Phillip, I hope you enjoy it! It's really best to use Inferno over lightning here. Jabs damage is very small and after your first Focuses Efforts, that's all that matters (which will have its main damage sources boosted by Inferno. Plus, the majority of your damage is going to be damage over time elements either way usually.). I would say this, if you really wanted to use a lightning, then do it until your first Focused Efforts, then go back to Inferno (then frost in higher Arcs). But honestly, it's not necessary at all.
Why do you have divines on the chest instead of reinforced? I’ve seen this sometimes on other people’s builds as well in situations where there’s a mix of traits, which makes me wonder if I’m missing something basic. Just seems like reinforced on the chest would be the starting point, then legs, etc. What am I missing? Thanks!
Hi there! It's been a while for this one. Were I to guess, it is what I had on live servers and I didnt want to cause any confusion changing things around between streams, what's in the video, and what is on the written guide. Normally you are totally correct, reinforced on chest is the move. However, the goal is hitting resist cap of 33k. There's lots of ways to chop that up, even if it isnt .01% min maxed elsewhere if you are out of transmutes. Also, I just published this build, which is the newest Templar IS build using jabs you may be interested in: ruclips.net/video/A2KnzrtWwyk/видео.html
I wonder how crimson twilight would do in place of leeching. It has a similar effect to leeching but is bleed instead if poison. I think the heals are a little less leeching though.
Hi Val! The reason I didnt like Crimson is that its centered around your body, so you have to be up in the business to get the most benefit, putting yourself in the most danger. When things are at their worst, you are running away from mobs and kiting, half the mobs are stationary and will continue to sit in leeching as well while you are running around. That and just the lingering aspect of the poison clouds. Leeching can provide you with some really strong heals in really tense moments that can help float you through things like Shards for quite a while.
Hi @Dooma! Thank you for the great build. It helpped me a lot. Could you please tell me what can be added or improved in this build after the release of the Golde Road update and the Scribbing system? Is there an update to the build planned?
Hi there! I am working through that now on stream then coming back and updating/adding new builds here and on the website. I can say as of now that all builds using Vigor will be replaced with this scribing skill, which is incredibly strong: ruclips.net/video/hT4xOfl_jxE/видео.html&t I recommend putting that one together right away and adding it to the kit. Also, if you are interested, a little while back I put this out giving a few options to expand the build: ruclips.net/video/67L_c6eUzl0/видео.html I hope this helps some and thank you for watching!
@Dooma Thank you very much for the quick response! :) Yeah, this new scribing skill looks strong. It also gives Mages Guild passives, which are good. It is interesting to use the Vateshran sword and shield backbar, but I am thinking about what other skills to put on the backbar. Since we lost Oakensoul buffs in this new setup, we can utilize some other scribing skills to get the buffs we previously got from Oakensoul. For example, the Soul Burst skill can give Minor Courage with an increased duration from archive buff, it can be useful. Also, maybe use the backbar scribing sword and shield skill with the interrupt affix to deal with these adds that need to be quickly interrupted ? I will look forward to your channel if you post an update video for this build. I already use a few of your builds, and they are awesome. You do very quality work! :)
Heya! Currently working on a new toon and using your build him for the Archives, why oh why is the Mages Guild levelled by collecting books! Slow progress. Hi there! Have you seen the newest version I updated for this patch? ruclips.net/video/A2KnzrtWwyk/видео.html The one you commented on still works fine, but you may also be interested in this Jabs version as well. Is this more fun to play than your DK archive build? I have two characters (a Nord DK and a Dark Elf Templar) and I'm trying to figure out which one to make a dedicated Archive build on. Right now, I'm leaning toward my DK.
Hey there! I have been play testing Archive builds all week. I havent quite gotten to either of those classes just yet. Thinking back to last season I am pretty sure I preferred the Templar. It was more forgiving and a bit less hectic. But that may all change once I get there here soon. Right now my King of the pack is the Necro. Absolutely monstrous Ia strength right now. Then after that would have to be the new version of the scuffed Sorc. Here is the older version if you havent seen it (video at the bottom): www.thegameroom.tv/scuffed-sorc I play tested that the last few days shaking it up for the next patch and it was really fun. Totally different experience where I was hitting around 65% concussion damage in upper Arcs. Guides for both of those should be out next week.
@@Dooma I'm working this Templar build out on paper with a Dark Elf and I don't think I can reach the resistance cap without swapping out the mundus. I'm at 31563 with full heavy + reinforced. Is the loss of pen going to be a problem?

Here is the question for those who knows, If i'll use the crown store "build switch station/helper" and i'll be a vampire, and will switch between the builds, on some i need to be vampire on some of them not. Will it switch me between builds and will keep me a vampire permanently, or will turn it on/off depending the saved build?
Hi Korseg! I haven't personally done it, but I found this reddit post that says you can switch back and forth if you save it a certain way: www.reddit.com/r/elderscrollsonline/comments/13lx9xw/how_to_switch_from_vampire_status_by_armory/
Hi Aaron! You are very welcome! You can do the other arenas with this, but its very defensively overkill, plus some of the set up doesnt work the best without Archive Visions to support it. I would recommend the other solo build from the website. It's capable of easily clearing both solo arenas on veteran and even some normal trial bosses. www.thegameroom.tv/templar-builds

im running a sorc ha one bar build atm and do you think if i used sergeant's mail with leaching set it would work ok? right now im using pillar of nirn obviously il probably lose some dps but it should make arenas and infinite archive a bit better right?
Hi Taco! Not for Infinite Archive (IA). Conventional damage sources become fully irrelevant after a period of time and lightning heavy attack set ups are among the worst set ups for IA, even more so when using traditional heavy attack gear sets. The very short reason is: IA scales upwards, forever. Mobs health and the difficulty continues to rise. So, damage sources that arent capable of being elevated to keep up with the scaling content, as a "wasted spot" vs something else that would actually be effective. There is no gear set in the game, with a 5 set function to proc damage, that is relevant after a certain time. None of them. And worse than those are any sets used to boost heavy attack damage. If you only plan to clear weekly up to Arc 4 or so, than anything goes and none of this matters. If you have an interest in pushing to higher arcs, the rules completely change. I hope this helps!
I don't remember the crit rating of the build but I believe it was very low. In that case, if you didnt want the pen from Lover, Thief would likely net more damage. There is a sliding scale element between crit rating and crit damage. You have to have enough crit rating, for crit damage to start to really shine.

Hi Faolan! The same set up will work for a Khajiit, just make sure you follow the guide for hitting the resist cap, that's going to be your biggest thing.
My wife and I are running this build in the archive. But we just can’t get the drops for the good buffs! You were say you had the scorching and 3 focus efforts! I’m hitting a wall at the 5 level. Any suggestions
Hi Kenny! Thanks so much for trying out the build! I think everyone feels this frustration to a degree. Unfortunately, as of now, Focused Efforts is "the great equalizer" for the content and it's dictated by RNG. If I could wave a wand and change 3 things in ESO, this would be one of them (a whole package of things on this topic). It is a give and take though. More Focused Efforts mean you go further, but it also means you are in there longer. So eventually you kind of need to get squeezed out otherwise you just spend countless hours in there For example, my runs are typically 4-6 hours. I dont always have that much time to give it, but also, if I dont give it the full time, I don't get to really push myself and have the most fun in there. If I got more averaged FE over time, my runs would end up averaging even longer. I don't have a good answer for a solution, but I do think it could potentially be a little less frustrating with the flow of Focused Efforts and then some of the scaling of the content. But for now, it just kind of is what it is. Zos has a mountain of data that had them land at this RNG level. I am sure there is something in there in that mix that is better for the overall health of the game, even if it doesnt make sense to us or we cant see it at all. I know this isnt what you wanted to hear, but at least you know we all in in the same boat now. I hope that helps some.
Dude I am so respectful of what you do! The time you give this game. I love this game! My wife is an achievement whore!!! lol 😂 we want that last boss in the4 th arc. All seriousness thank you for your response. That’s so much more than I expected. I really enjoy all your content except PvP. That’s to much for me at 53! I use a lot of you pve builds! Please keep up the great work! Thank you
Haha yessir you are very welcome and thank you so much for the kind words! I'm super glad you have your wife playing with you too haha. I worked on mine for about 2 years then gave up. She likes to 100% console RPGs, which is the SAME THING as running around collecting ESO achievements, but I ultimately lost that battle. 😂
So awesome, I run to test it out. First, you think this is still the best combination after the release of update 42? Second, you think with skill like destructive clench this build can run vet dungeons as tank? If yes, what do you think makes this build shine as a dungeon tank? Thank you very much 🙏🏻 Really appreciate your effort 🫡💪🏻.
Hi there! I am working through that now on stream then coming back and updating/adding new builds here and on the website. Also, if you are interested, a little while back I put this out giving a few options to expand the build: ruclips.net/video/67L_c6eUzl0/видео.html I know some people have told me they have used a few of the IA builds for dungeon tanking, but I am honestly not sure personally how well it would do. I havent tried it. I don't want to give you bad information there, but I can say, the IA builds are more or less mostly tank builds already, so I would imagine they would work out okay with a few changes to the set ups.
Hi Tom! These builds are designed to use and take advantage of the Visions and Verses in IA, namely Focused Efforts. FE is going to be the ultimate thing that determines your damage, no matter what build you use. The more stacks you have and the better you take advantage of it with status effects, the more damage you will do. Thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery.
Hi Schis! Here is what I recently posted in Discord about this specific thing: "The IA build's are designed for upper arcs. It's going to be way overkill defensively in early arcs. In those lower arcs, I just tell people "do what you have to do" to get through them at a pace that is comfortable for you. Everyone will be different. You can change sets, cp, food, skills, etc. in early arcs to get through it faster and as you go further and further, add elements of the build back to get however tanky you feel you need to be. That's good awareness and a great learning point for IA. Now you can see your damage comes visions and verses, not your build in the Archive. Your build is more about preventing deaths and then taking advantage of status effects (Ex: Serpent's Disdain), not necessarily providing more damage itself. Two very general changes you can do that I do personally for most of these set ups that speeds things up: In early Arcs I use Deadly Strike + Serpents and I use the Force Pulse spammable. This gives more dot damage, makes those early ele sus' burning procs hit a little harder before you get any Focused Efforts, and helps speeds up boss fights well enough. Force Pulse splash damage is also fantastic for quickly clearing small adds. Start rounds by spreading ele sus, then just force pulse everything down. Usually only takes a few seconds per wave in Arc 1 or so."
Hi Willy! You want to try to hit 18.2k. You cant get anywhere near that on the build but any divine traits you can squeeze in without losing resist cap and any penetration visions you can pick up helps you get there. I usually make sure to pick up 2-3 pen visions and I am good to go normally.
Really a great video and very good explaination of all things for new player ! I have question, do you gonna make new solo pve build or older one are alway available ? And for you, it's viable to make a magika melee build ? Because i want it but don't know which class and build to take
Hi Kiziokun! Thank you! The previous (non-IA) solo build on the website is still current so there are other options for you as well. Since the hybridization in ESO, the type of resource being used specifically for sustain isnt typically considered first for (most) builds. It just depends where everything settles with the gear and skills chosen. There isnt a reason any more to play specifically stamina or specifically magicka in many cases.
@@Dooma Oh ok thx ! I was effraid to be forced to use staff if i want magika. And i have a last question, do you have a recommandation of which class for a knew player who want to start with a melee magika class in solo pve ?
tbh I keep looking at your builds for 2 reasons: some are dumb (to me) and some are brilliant! very little in between, but always worth watching but seriously the Infinite Archive ones are really good! Perso Im going to Infinite Archive with 2 one bar options: One inspiread by your builds if many Focused Efforts... One if many Extended Favor (then it opens very different opportunities, and better have other gears ready)
Hi Joshua! Most of your damage is going to come from your visions and verses you collect, it's what the build takes advantage of. Until that point, I just tell people "do what you have to do" to make it more enjoyable. Everyone is different. You can add a damage set, damage cp, damage food, a few more damage skills, etc. I typically use Deadly Strike in place of leeching early on and bring in a few more damage abilities as youll be defensive overkill for early arcs. I will be streaming a score pushing attempt of the 2 bar version of the build tomorrow if you wanted to see all of that in action. www.twitch.tv/the_gameroom
Why should leeching be removed on a warden ? It gets stronger with their higher health 🧐 I run alessian + leeching on my warden, and I barely need to cast a single heal until arc 7 lol !
Hi there Mojo! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. There are a few classes that shake things up a little differently in this area. Wardens are one of them. A set up like this is going to be more ideal in this content (it's a 1 minute video): ruclips.net/video/sF1v18w1ApA/видео.html&t You can fully tank it up if you like on the Warden but it's unnecessary. There are better options that capitalize the classes skills and passives with status effects within the content. It's a sports car vs. bicycle difference in experience and you are less reliant on Focused Efforts (to a degree) to make it all less of a slog, with comparable survivability. I hope this helps and thank you for watching!

Then after that would have to be the new version of the scuffed Sorc. Here is the older version if you havent seen it (video at the bottom): www.thegameroom.tv/scuffed-sorc
I play tested that the last few days shaking it up for the next patch and it was really fun.
What is that shield that you’re using I can’t find it anywhere so I’m overlooking it somewhere
Hi Josh! If you click any skill from the written guides, it will take you to a page that shows the base skill, where its from, and it's other morph. Here is the Templar class page for you (the IA build here is under "ONE BAR SOLO" at the top): www.thegameroom.tv/templar-builds
Great, thank you!
You are very welcome!
what do u think is the most easy one bar build for pushing high tiers in IA?
Hi Sudo! This one for sure: ruclips.net/video/sF1v18w1ApA/видео.html&t
thabks for yoir videos dooma they are always so detailed
one question how does this build fare in vet arenas ? or trials etc
Love your videos! I have a Breton, what enchants should I use to build up the resistances? Thank you!!
Thank you, I'm glad you are enjoying the content, and thank you for watching!
@@Dooma Thank you so much for explaining that, I am still a bit new so trying to understand how everything works has been a journey, haha. I look forward to your next videos!
You are very welcome Michelle!
im running a sorc ha one bar build atm and do you think if i used sergeant's mail with leaching set it would work ok? right now im using pillar of nirn obviously il probably lose some dps but it should make arenas and infinite archive a bit better right?
Hi, watched your vid, vanted to ask, what about Shadow mundus?
I don't remember the crit rating of the build but I believe it was very low. In that case, if you didnt want the pen from Lover, Thief would likely net more damage. There is a sliding scale element between crit rating and crit damage. You have to have enough crit rating, for crit damage to start to really shine.
@@Dooma in your middle build my crit is 30%m
@@Dooma just finished... I'm top 5 templar solo EU serv now. 2 deaths were very stupid. dragon pushed me with his wing while was touned with the EYE, and the second stupid loss was that bobs were bodyblocking me and I should roll dodge))
Heyyyy tha'ts awesome, well done and thank you for letting me know! Great job! 💪

howdy! looks like a crazy good build! What sort of recommendations would you have for a Khajiit Templar?
Thank you
I have used your arc, warden and now Templar. Transmutes are gone! Love all your builds
Transmutes: The REAL eso end game. 😅
Love your builds amazing if you have mobility problems and can’t use some buttons comfortably. Thank you so much
You are very welcome and I am glad. That is exactly part of the reason I keep creating them!
So awesome, I run to test it out.
First, you think this is still the best combination after the release of update 42?
Second, you think with skill like destructive clench this build can run vet dungeons as tank? If yes, what do you think makes this build shine as a dungeon tank?
Thank you very much 🙏🏻
Really appreciate your effort 🫡💪🏻.
Also, if you are interested, a little while back I put this out giving a few options to expand the build: ruclips.net/video/67L_c6eUzl0/видео.html
I know some people have told me they have used a few of the IA builds for dungeon tanking, but I am honestly not sure personally how well it would do. I havent tried it. I don't want to give you bad information there, but I can say, the IA builds are more or less mostly tank builds already, so I would imagine they would work out okay with a few changes to the set ups.
And you are very welcome, thank you for watching! 🙏
hi, how can you do so much dmg with the build? 40-50k with Leeching? i dont understand it :D
Love the tankiness but I'm having a hard time with damage.
How long does it typically take to maybe arc 8?
Usually between 3.5 - 4.5 hours or so. I can end up adding quite a bit of extra time messing with the builds along the way.
Gg, isnt There a cap for pen in pve ou EA is defferent?
@@kiziokun2477 You are very welcome! I would say a Magicka Templar using Puncturing Sweeps would be what you are looking for.

tbh I keep looking at your builds for 2 reasons: some are dumb (to me) and some are brilliant!
very little in between, but always worth watching
but seriously the Infinite Archive ones are really good!
Perso Im going to Infinite Archive with 2 one bar options: One inspiread by your builds if many Focused Efforts... One if many Extended Favor (then it opens very different opportunities, and better have other gears ready)
Bro! This build is unkillable. However, I feel like I'm not doing any damage. Any tips on the rotation?
A set up like this is going to be more ideal in this content (it's a 1 minute video): ruclips.net/video/sF1v18w1ApA/видео.html&t
You can fully tank it up if you like on the Warden but it's unnecessary. There are better options that capitalize the classes skills and passives with status effects within the content. It's a sports car vs. bicycle difference in experience and you are less reliant on Focused Efforts (to a degree) to make it all less of a slog, with comparable survivability.
I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
@@Dooma Hey Dooma, no problem I hope it went well ! Thank you for the answer, I’ll give it a try :)

Nope. Ive been hitting the leader boards on the archive and getting triple stacks of it.
