Weddings at Disney World | Pricing and Venue Options

- I posted a video a few years ago detailing the wedding packages available at Walt Disney World. Since then, the wedding procedures have shifted to a new system that is much more customizable. Today I'm talking about how the new system works and giving some pricing info.

Definitely the castle! There’s just something so special about it that you can’t replicate anywhere else! It’s a shame it’s as much as it is, but definitely would pick that if money wasn’t a issue!

The location I would like is one I saw on their Disney Weddings special. The lobby of the American Adventure. It is my favorite pavilion and contains my favorite show at all of WDW. 2nd choice Italy at Epcot. 3rd choice The Chapels at the Grand Floridian.
The day I took the backstage tour of WDW there was a wedding taking place in Italy before World Showcase opening which hastened the outside tour and the visual trick description in front The American Adventure before going back and seeing how the sets move for the show.
I agree about location-Wedding Pavillon!
I would love to get married at the castle. Just because of the "princess" feel of it.
I would choose the train station at the Magic Kingdom or the garden inside the UK.

I saw on the website that there is a food fee. Is that included in the event minimum fee? Or is that also separate? Like the venue. Also do u know if there is a cm discount?
For us the food and beverage fees fell under the minimum expenditures and contributed to that. And last time I checked, there was a Cast Member discount, so be sure to check with your planner!

Hey Meaghan, thank you so much for the video. Are the venue fees included in the minimum? Or is it the venue fee then plus the $5,000 minimum? Sorry if I didn’t catch that. This whole thing has been so confusing to me 🤣
It can be super confusing! The venue fee is separate from the minimum expenditures :)

My daughter is getting married at the Disney Pavilion in May 2023! Any great ideas??
Congratulations to her! My best suggestion is to really put together a thorough Pinterest board or other visual representation of the theme, atmosphere, colors, etc. that they want and share that with the planners because they are amazing at taking those pictures and making them happen on the big day!
I watched your DFTW first videos, years ago. I never thought it was a possibility that I would be on the table... Well! I am in the beginning stages of planning ours! We are dreaming about the Oak Manor Lawn. It is absolutely beautiful and we are too excited. (I think I would say the same about the venue; if money didn't matter, I still would do the Oak Manor Lawn :) )
I do have questions! Does the ceremony fee/venue fee count toward your minimum? Do you know of anything that doesn't count towards the minimum?
How exciting! Congrats! The Oak Manor Lawn is gorgeous. Things are a little different now than they were a few years ago, but as far as I know, the venue fees are their own things and the minimums only apply to “extras” like food, drinks, flowers, photography, etc. For sure send them an email if you’re not already talking to a fairy tale wedding planner and ask allllll the questions. They’re super nice and helpful!
