Ride bikes. Give back. Pay it forward! - Спорт
Despite the fact that this video has probably cost me $300+, it is the most informative video I’ve seen this week. Loving your channel. Ride safe!
😂😂 thanks for the kind words!!
Hi, Alan. This is KEEBUM.
I'M with your father at Bankok.
You did great job that I heard from your father.
Thanks 🙏
Bike packing is definitely something that's on my list to do for the first time in 2023!
Ya man :) If you enjoy camping and riding bikes it’s a no brainer 💃🏽💃🏽 if u ever make it to Sun Valley, ID I’ll show ya around 🤙 ride on!!
It would be interesting if you would talk about the items that failed you and why as well. Cheers from Canada!
That's a fair point, and trust me, I've thought about it... but aside from discussing my own shortcomings and mistakes, I don't want to bad mouth any people/products/brands/companies - I hope you can understand... Have a great holiday season!
@@DirtyTeethMTB thanks for the reply! I don't see it as bad-mouthing anyone just explaining why these products didn't work out for you. Have a great holiday season :)
@@keven-matthewlarrivee-font2678 that is true... I appreciate the feedback :) Ride on!
How great to be watching you again!
Thanks for coming back…
Thanks, Cyc Nerd - ride on!!
Thanks for sharing D.T, good times for sure...
Missed you! Thanks for the visit and recap! Hope you and family have a great Holiday season!!! Be safe out there!
Thanks Outback Wack, right back at ya!! Happy holidays :)

As always, super informative, short and to the point, entertaining and energetic! Thanks dude! Happy Holidays!
Thanks for watching :)
Always great stuff !!
Thank you! Cheers!
Love the family cameos! Great content as always!!
Thanks, Scott! Happy holidays :)
If my wife new how much stuff I purchase based on your recommendations She would delete my account! I even roll a cutty - but I had that prior to me discovering your gospel. Love your stuff - hope you had a great iditarod.
Love you guys! What’s not to like? Great info in a fun vid that always puts a smile on my face! ❤️👍🏻
Thanks a bunch Hoser7!
Yay! Glad your back on world wide web…great info as always Jaco
I hope to see ya at Fat Pursuit?! I owe ya some beeeeerrr its been too long :)
Love your content! I rewatch every gear vid just to get tips and hacks!. Curious on your picks for deep winter clothing options for expedition rides, like the Pursuit, Drift or the ITI. I'm fascinated by all the options, but found most "bike specific" gear to be a waste of money when it comes to multi-day adventures - at least that has been my experience. Would love to see a "Winter edition" of your top gear picks!
GREAT stuff Alan. Welcome home and welcome back to you RUclips. Cheers dude!!!
Thanks for the kind note, Jack - Happy Holidays :)
Amazing video! I love and appreciate the bike-packing community, as I’m new.. but have already collected some absolutely epic gear! I absolutely love your first recommendation, the shirt for sun and weather protection 🙏🏼
Thanks for your kind words Carlton, ride on!
Love hearing what you have to say about the gear.. Its evident that you put alot of thought into your setup!
I try!! Thanks for watching!!!
I've added to my kit a little flashlight, the RovyVon Aurora A5 with white/red sidelights. The updated 2022 edition has USB-C charging and a magentic spring clip. I use the sidelights for tasks in camp and the red is great for preseving night vision or as an emergency taillight if caught on the road after dark. So many uses I got a 2nd for use in the toolbox.
Bruce, thanks for sharing :) I've gotta check out the Aurora A5 now! Ride on :)
Great video as always! Going to check out and potentially buy a few things from this one 🤘
Thanks for watching, Jonathan! Ride on :)
This year I switched from a rear rack and pannier system to the Aero Spyder rear rack and dry backs. Absolutely rock solid and can easily swap it out to almost any bike. I also used the Tailfin suspension fork mounts this year and they were way better than any other hack/bodge system I have tried.
Great to hear your thoughts, UrbanSuburban :) Thanks for sharing... I'll have to try the Aero Spyder one of these days, I hear nothing but positive feedback - ride on!
Definitely going to check out the ketl bibs! 👊
They're reasonably priced and so far so good :) Ride on!
Those bibs are sweet!
I’ve love having jersey pockets but don’t always like wearing jerseys!
Ride on!! Thanks for commenting 🤙
Great video dude, some good products there
Thanks for watching! Ride on :)
I also use the Brooks C13, works well for me on the gravel bike. Some great tips there Alan. Stay safe buddy.
Glad to hear Dave. I’m gonna have to save up for one or two more so I don’t have to keep swapping between bikes 😜😜 ride on!
great content! thanks
Thanks for watching, Mark - ride on!
Thanks!
Thank you!!
a 3d printer... an ender 3 can be readily had for under 200 usd and after printing several cargo cages, cable management solutions, bag attachment points, webbing hardware pieces such as triglides, waterproof storage containers for lighters and starters. its paid for itself if looking at it from a retail value stand point. more than that its allowed me to create custom g-hooks, spacers for all sorts of things, shelter pieces, or things that just didnt exist, it obviously has limits but rapid prototyping has allowed me to get ideas that worked in form to later be made into steel or aluminum.
Love it, thanks for sharing :) - ps, if you have any cool items you decide to bring to market and wanna send 'em over for me to test/review, I'm a geek and always love trying new stuff :) Ride on!
lovely video
Thanks for watching :)
Great to see you , our family has missed your videos . When will we hear more about your movie? Happy holidays to you and your family. Cheers !!!
Thanks for the note, Chuck :) The movie is called "Horizon: An American Saga" you can google Horizon Kevin Costner and it should pop up - Happy Holidays and ride on!
Hey Alan, now that you've taken the (polar) plunge and referenced that you are on the race roster for the 2023 Iditarod Trail Invitation (ITI) 350 (congratulations!) it would be great to see some episodes focusing on what your apporach to training for this event is looking like. Keep up the great work!
Currently recovering from hernia surgery - but hope to be back on the bike within a couple weeks… then I’ll be at JayP’s fat camp and fat pursuit first week of new year and see where it goes from there :) happy holidays, Scott!! 🙌🙌
Your back…. Yipeeeee
Thanks, David... I hope to slip in a few videos here and there while I have some down time - thanks for watching :)
Nice Gucci stuff like Steve Jobs said stuff I didn’t know I need great to see you back on the Tubes!
Thanks Hunter - hope you come to Fat Pursuit with KC, would love to see ya guys and buy some beers!!
Fantastic as always. Thank you brother. Unfortunately e-trax failed me during my race this year so I’m switching to 830 with double battery under the computer. Taillfin back rack passed triple hard tests and is my go to pack. Tell us about your favorite tires for Sunny please. All the best for Holliday season
Continental race kings are the only tires I’ve ever used on Sunny :) ride on!!
A Vidéo from DirtyTeeth, I upvote before even watching !
hahaha!!! thanks so much, Sylv_ain :)
Welcome back 😃🙏
Thanks, jeztv :)
@@DirtyTeethMTB your enthusiasm makes my day 🤸♀️🥳🚴😂
Can you give some info on your artwork on the back wall? It is wild.
My buddy painted it for me as a wedding present, a LONG time ago :)
More!
haha - I have more coming... happy holidays, Bill :)
Suggestions on how to attach my 60oz water kanteen near the bottom of my frame without the mounts? Also, I noticed your hat. Hiki nō!
Hi Gloria, thanks for noticing the hat!! As far as the kanteen - shoot me an email, and let me think about it... I've got a few ideas and links I can send ya :) dirtyteethmtb at gmail dot com
Have you tried the c13 on the fat bike yet? curious how that one is via the c17… ?
Yes, I currently have the c13 on my fatty and love it! Ride on :)

New to fat bikes, could you explain why tubeless is worth the pain?
depending on your set up, doesn't have to be a pain... my wheels are dialed for tubeless... fat bike tubes are heavy (we're talking a couple pounds of rotational weight)... on tubeless offers more supple feel, especially at the lower pressures needed to keep traction in variable snow conditions... hope that helps :) ride on!
you lucky bugger look at that snow!!!!
hahaha!!! ride on, Steve :)
Thanks man! Now I have to edit my list for Santa! PS - 70* and no snow here in central Florida.
Oh, Michael! I could use some of the 70F Florida sunshine right about now :) Ride on!
CRANKTANK 3 or 4 water carrier
Thanks for sharing, David - ride on!!
Common theme: More Storage!
Always need more storage!!! Ride on :)
Why do so many gravel bikes have carbon front forks. It would seem to be risky given the bumps and bruises of off-road use. Steel frames are loaded for their durability and compliance. Most high-end touring bikes are made of steel, so if carbon hit a hard impact into a rock or a rut, could't that potentially break /crack a carbon rim, and now you're completely stuck in the wilderness.or this reason. I would imagine that for bikes that do off-road gravel and carry a lot of gear, would benefit from a steel fork. What gives?
Great questions and concerns. Steel is compliant, and reliable, but heavy. People want lighter these days. IMO titanium hits a sweet spot (for frames). Yes, more spendy than steel, but light and comfy and will outlive us. Along those lines, carbon of today is not what it was 10 years ago. The processes are so specific and dialed in, so they can add layers/stiffness where it should be and make it lighter/more flexy where it should be. So most people that are looking to bikepack fast / racing are on carbon bikes, forks, wheels, etc... giving up some comfort to be lighter... but for "touring", weight isn't as much a concern, so steel is still popular.. So yeah... it all comes down to preference and goals... but carbon is stronger than you think. I use carbon rims often and have actually had more damage to my alloy rims lately, and I've never damaged a carbon fork in countless thousands of miles of off-road madness... anyhoo... if you're looking for comfy steel adventure bikes, check out Surly's lineup. Thanks for watching, much appreciated!
@@DirtyTeethMTB good information. You make very good points. Thank you for taking the time. I’m considering a Richie ascent As a potential all around-er. I am more adventure, focused, touring, and exploring. I am big into fitness, and my bias towards steel is that with the extra way I’m burning extra calories and challenging my muscular fitness. So I guess my goal is not getting there faster, but rather, more fit :-). Thank you again so much for your time. I really do think you have one of the best channels related to biking and upgrades and equipment. Best of luck. Take good care.
