looks good billy, i really enjoyed my rm buggy and when you guys came out with the first rendition of mid motor i had that too. reason i stopped running serpent was parts availability. i had nearly $200 bucks in small parts when i sold off all of my serpent gear.
in 2.5 seasons i ran my buggies and sct, i only broke 1 part and that was a shock shaft. really good products from serpent, just need to work parts at local hobby shops and not just from amain and desoto

This buggy mid motor only? A lot of tracks out east US are still outdoor. Need rear traction for those tracks and mid motors are tough to make work on those surfaces.

Dang Billy you seem to have come a long way from making prototype parts on CAD at trackside back in the day for other manufacturers kits to making your own complete kits.. idk if you remember me we used to be testing at trackside all day every day for a while there -Dave

Visionridr14, thanks for the compliment and bit of a bummer, that you said farewell to us, maybe you will come back some day. Getting parts in the Hobby shops is a very tough goal to meet, but we will continue to try..We have to convince Hobby shops and customers are products are worth making an investment on. Our latest product line says that though, some of the best car kits we have produced to date.

thanks billy for the reply. i am thinking my next 2wd buggy will be a serpent again but this time i will restrict myself to buying a crap ton of parts for those just "just in case" moments. serpent plastics and metals are really great btw

Billy Easton from what I have seen with your kits I have raced against two of these serpent buggies and once there dialed in there really dialed in very hard to compete with!! I plan on getting one here shortly to replace my b5m (I know she’s old) but my b5m was competitive for all these years till I noticed new geometry changes on other buggies that actually made a substantial difference!! But have a great day and congrats on bringing such a killer to the track!!

Nice video! Will there be a rtr version of the gen 3 or will the production of the rtr mm continues? I've been building too many kits lately and would like a nice break. Was a big fan of Serpent nitro onroad cars in the past and would like to get my hand on another serpent product.

Nice... I hope you’re able to show us a test run on “traditional” dirt as well. I mean, if you’re here in FL, you might want to consider stopping by Coral Springs or Mills Pond - that is, if you plan on paying a visit to Serpent America while you’re here.

Hello!!! Can the new srx2 Gens3 work well on dirt tracks? Or do you plan to take out a kit for dirt tracks or completely carbon chassis like the old srx2, I hope your answer, thanks and greetings from Spain

Billy, we may have met briefly in Thailand during the 2010 Worlds. I am keen to learn about the GT8 racing scene in the US. I believe it started with great interest, but looks like its dying. Serpent and Xray seems to be the only interested companies. What are your thoughts on this class?
