      Samsung fan here but angry rn.
      Been with SAMSUNG for 10 years. Had Note 4 , s6 edge, S8 , S10 + , fold 3 , fold 4 fold 5. The Fold has lots of issues it's a great concept but it's a beta phone. Aspect ratio issues, battery issues, crease issues, camera issues and beta testing a $2000 phone that's not a good phone or a good tablet. Then releasing Samsung z fold 6 special edition only in their country did it for me as well as. Samsung manufactures both Google and Apple displays. Google Pixel Pro 9 XL & iPhone 16 have SAMSUNGS M14 new OLED display tech while Samsung S25 ultra will have last year's M13 Display tech. And someone that works there said to save money!!!! On a phone that's 500 to manufacture and sells for close to 2k! And it's a flagship it should have the newest and greatest especially of hardware they make themselves!... I switched to Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and had it sense the 30th and it makes me wish I used Google Pixel for all of these years instead of Samsung which has bunches of gimmicky software and features that people kept saying they wish Google added but Google is Stock Android Pure Android at its finest without gimmicks. It makes Gemini and circle to search which is on other phones now Google has Android and is a software company therefore the Google Pixel has the best software Android period

    Sit tight with your current flagship phone. Have our lives changed that much in one year that we need to be sucked into Samsungs sleight of hand as if any of these ' improvements ' is really an upgrade and warrants you paying more 💷 or 💸

      I'm still holding on to my S21U. I was thinking about buying the 24U now as it is at $1000 now with 512GB, but perhaps I'll rather spend 70 for a new battery for my old brick. Somehow I do not see huge improvements, except that AI shit I do not really need.

    There was no weight savings with titanium because titanium weighs more than the aluminium that Samsung used to use. Apple lost weight because they went from steel to titanium.
    Also it's not 50mp sensors across the board. They're still using a tiny old 3x sensor.

    • @vincentbell3775
      @vincentbell3775 25 дней назад +1

      Aluminum is easy to scratch, the titanium is much more durable and that's what really matters

    • @fuzziestlumpkin
      @fuzziestlumpkin 25 дней назад +2

      Was going to say the same. In fact, because titanium weighs more than aluminium, Samsung had to switch to a plastic frame with a titanium outer shell just to have it weigh the same as the full aluminium frame they used to use. Apple also uses only a titanium outer shell, but their frame is full aluminium, downgraded/upgraded from a full steel frame.

      @StevealiciousTech Apple has been cheaper since the S20 ultra came out, Steve. It's fake news saying Apple cost more cus of the iPhone X. After that, Samsung went freaking crazy with their prices & their doing it yet again.

      @katinasoutherland7693 Samsung currently offers attractive trade-in promotions for their tablets and phones. An iPhone 12, for example, can reduce the price of a new Samsung product by $200, while a Samsung S22+ yields a $300 discount. Generic brands are also accepted in the trade-in program. Competitive trade-in offers for iPhones are currently limited, and even with AppleCare, screen repairs often cost more than purchasing a new device. Just some food for thought.

    Almost a grand and a half for an S25 ultra? A bridge to far for me with those muted specs? Nahhh I would rather wait 10 months, wait for a price reduction ( if i did indeed consider an S25, plus or Ultra) Samsungs near complacency now over brand loyalty worries me - and i am a fan, not just of Samsung, The Pixel 9, 9pro and 9 XL are great and one of the many rising stars among others too! Samsung's AI is exceptional, and I appreciate their editing software; the build quality is superb and improves yearly. It's definitely premium for the price. I wonder what they will do with Starlink messaging? I was disappointed by the removal of Samsung Messaging. However, I believe their future innovations will be impressive, and I prefer Samsung to Apple, whose phones rarely feature significant new innovations. Why was their AI launch delayed? That said, I love my S23 Ultra and plan to keep it for a long time. In the past, Samsung phones were not durable, but with these improvements (especially in build quality), I believe they will last much longer now. It's not out yet, so let's give them a chance 😊

    I would argue the upgrade from s24u to s25u is beyond that of the s22u to s23u! Size and weight, quality of memory and modem/3nmChip and titanium materials.. Cameras should be better in low light. Everyone loves the cameras on the s23/24. I get they want "new" but better processing and UWide, its still going to be top tier with the other 3 for cams. The 24u is too big, too heavy, and maybe not worth the "price" to people, but I believe this phone will be much more premium

    Let's wait for the S25 Ultra to actually be introduced and tested before deciding if it is a worthy upgrade or not. The hype train will soon swing in to motion, and any improvement, say in video quality, will be splattered over every Samsung favored review channel, and then even people who are sure they are not interested in the device here and now, will start buying the thing en masse. Samsung needs to cover the cost of their AI investments. I don't see how it will pay it off now though, as the AI does things I like, but not that I need and will not want to pay for. Additionally, Samsung really spends time in trying to make Android look and feel better than the blandness of the base OS. You can get a pixel, but it's like flying coach while Samsung is more like first class. You all leave and get there at the same time, but the trip is much more enjoyable at the front.
