You sir are not only a very talented and creative musician. But you are an incredible teacher. I offer my respect and admiration for your natural ability, knowledge and dedication. And my gratitude for your willingness to share it so selflessly.
Thanks! Question: do you know what type of harmonica is in Don't Cry For Louie - Vaya Con Dios? Chromatic or diatonic? If it is diatonic how did hi blow bend the 6 hole? (C key) is it posible to blow bend half tone on the 6 hole? Best, man
Hey Will, thanks for responding to my comment. I think you're one of the best out there, that being said, I need help. You have one of the only "blow bending" videos out there. I watch it over and over. I'm having trouble getting them. Also I need someone to explain the key differences between blow bending and over blows. I watched a video of a guy blow bending on all holes, was it because he was using an "X" reed harp?, or is that possible on a regular harmonica? I need a more thorough explanation/demonstration. Where they can be done, when, how, why, etc. They seem more important to learn (now) than overblows to me, is that correct? Any recommendations, or can you offer up a solution? Sorry to drone on and on, thanks.
+Patrick Clark On a standard harp you can only blowbend on holes 7 to 10. When you blow bend, you LOWER the pitch of the note. Overblowing is a different technique (more advanced) and can only be done on holes 1 to 6. When you overblow, you RAISE the pitch of the note. If you need any further instruction you can book in for a Skype tutorial with me, I charge £30 per hour.
Will Wilde Cool, thanks for clearing that up. The guy I mentioned, it must have been the harmonica, set up with special reeds. I keep watching your video on blow bending, it's just not as easy as draw bending, which I got right away. I'm a broke mo fo for time being. I'm in the hospital, and have been since x-mas, I'll be here for a while longer, so I got time to learn and play, just no scratch($). Maybe when I'm out, or get hold of my $, I'll check out your one. Thanks a bunch!
For some reason, I'm achieving the blowbend but it then it quickly goes back up to the original note and I cannot hold the bended note. I'm using a C harmonica which is quite old, does that have anything to do with it?

Don’t get it. Haven’t a clue how to do what you’re doing.
