Me listening in 1.5x playback speed 😅 very informative and thank you for sharing this. I just bought an aroma diffuser and new to essential oils. Godbless and keep safe.
Hey boom! I'm so glad you find this video informative. And of course congratulations with your new set of oils and welcome to the oily world! 💖 Enjoy and keep safe always. God bless you too 🙏🏻💖
Wow! This is really interesting information! It's not at all what I was looking for - I just bought a diffuser at a yard sale and I'm trying to find out how to fill it. I clicked on your thumbnail because the diffuser you show looks like the one I just bought. I had no idea to diffuse for (generally speaking) 10 or 15 minutes - I would have diffused until the machine turned off then started it right up again to keep the olfaction going, but what you said makes sense... after a while we quit smelling things... it never occurred to me that my olfactory was worn out! And less is more? I gotta laugh at that one cuz I am from the hippie generation where our motto was "If one is good, two is better", so yeah, I'd probably have poured the whole bottle in so I could get the most out of it... I'm just talkin' truth! While babies or even children are pretty much no longer a regular occurrence in my life these days I certainly do have pets and it never would have occurred to me that essential oils would have any sort of effect on them. I learned so much from your video and I'm very grateful. I've already saved it so I can refer back to it, if I can ever find a video about how to fill it. 🤣😂🤣 Smiles from the southern California desert, MK 😁🏜
Hey MK! Glad you learned something from my video. How's your diffuser going so far? I hope you are using pure essential oils to really get it's amazing benefits. ;)
Hi robin! I actually have a vlog as to what kind of water is best used for our diffusers to prolong it's life. But anyways, you can use purified water provided that you clean it every after use. But ideally, distilled water is the best option for diffusers. Hope this helps! ☺️
Hello Thanks for your explanation. Does the 15 minutes rules apply for all different oils? What abt putting some drops on my fake plastic flower ? Is that a good idea? Please advise. Thank you so much.
Hi thomas, thanks for dropping by my channel. ☺️ Anyways, what you are trying to do is actually called passive diffusing. The aroma will just go away on its own before you know it. Remember, Essential oils are highly volatile substances. So once they are exposed to air, heat they evaporate quickly. So no the 15min rule does not apply in passive diffusing. And it’s kinda a waste of EO as for me. Might as well dilute your oil with water and poly20(emulsifier) and make yourself a mist or something for whatever purpose you need. And also I do not recommend putting oils on plastic as these oils are highly concentrated it can eat up your plastic material. So use a ceramic one perhaps or maybe a cotton instead. Hope this helps. ☺️
@@KiddieMommaPH Thanks for getting back to me Well is it safe to diffuse in a diffuser with kids around. I have a 5 year old. I heard from my doctor some of the oils can cause development issue in kids, if that is the case which oil is the safest for kids and the 15 minutes diffusing, how many times in a day I can do that or you suggest doing it. I love the smell of Ylang Ylang I recently bought it. I also put some drops in the cotton ball and put it in bathrooms. I try to do make home made diffuser adding some safflower oil, rubbing alcohol and 30 drops of oil in a diffuser bottle and I didn’t get any smell. I am trying to do natural smell in my home. I am waiting for a reply from you.
Just a curious question. Did you get all these points after your Aromatherapist course or were these tackled in Young Living classes for members? The reason I am asking is that, I have never seen the points in any of YL disclosure statements so I hope you can shed us some light. Thank you!
Hi Carlo thanks for dropping by and so sorry for the late response. Been busy lately. Anyways, I only learned these information when I enrolled myself into the course. And yes you are right, I was not also fed these kinds of info when I first had my PSK last 2017. I'm glad you are watching my video. I hope you learned something. Keep safe and happy oiling. ☺️
I’m very new to this! I have a 4 year old can I diffuse around her ? Also my house is closed because of air conditioner… is it bad to diffuse that way? Those are my 2 main concerns. I’d appreciate the help!
Hello! Yes of course you still can diffuse around your toddler provided that you use KID SAFE oils like lavender, frankincense, citrus oils and the likes. Use only a 1-2 drops tho since you don't also want to overwhelm the olfactory receptors of your daughter and you. Also don't diffuse too as long as per my video. Hope this helps! Keep safe ☺️
Hi Have a Fish in my house, should it be still okay to use diffuser? and how long would be it safe for fishes? is 10 min okay? Or should not use at all? Please guide on this. thanks
Hello! Thanks for dropping by. I don't think your fishes will be affected since they are im the water and covered? Are they in the aquarium? Essential oils are volatile substances. They evaporate quickly once exposed to air, heat and sunlight. So I'm pretty sure your fishes would be just fine. 😉
Sadly mine caused me to cough and I stopped diffusing in my bedroom… For now. I’ll just sprinkle some lavender drops on my pillows hehe Or just a bit on my temples and under nose before bed
But about REM, doesn't apply to me.. I can hear a birdhouse landing on the roof, and I have a insulated roof with stone shingles on it.. I shouldn't even be close to hear it...
Mistake number 1 ? That`s just your opinion and i believe your wrong because these are designed to run until the water runs out which is alot longer than 10 to 15 mins, more like 4 to 7 hours. These are designed to be kept turned on for hours and hours.
Hi there Brendan! First of, thanks for dropping by my channel. Well, i'm lucky to be educated on how to safely use these powerful oils. As from what I have learned in school which is Aromahead Institute of Essential Oils Studies, you do not need to diffuse that long if you are already getting the benefits in the first 30min or perhaps an hour. It's like why would you keep eating even if you are already full right? Gluttony? Just kiddin'. And also have you heard about olfactory fatigue? Search on that and you will know what I mean. 😉 keep safe always and God bless!
Hi, i have 9 month old baby and super malamok kasi dito and sticker or patches is not applicable since mahilig na mag subo ng kahit anong bagay si Baby. Gusto ko sana gumamit ng Citronella oil. Is it safe?
Hello mommy! I would not personally recommend citronella for your 9month old kid. You can use lavender and geranium instead to help repell mosquitoes. Then make a spray out from it mommy. And spray on clothes instead on skin. Hope this helps! 💖
You can still fill your diffuser until the water marker mommy and add oils. So after 10-15 min turn off your diffuser then feel free to turn it on again after 45min or later on with the same water inside your diffuser and the oils. No need to add more oils or water mommy. :)
Yes of course! That's if you use it for diffusing. But if you use it for a pillow mist or an insect repellent spray make sure to use an emulsifier like poly20, veg glycerin or aloe vera to name a few. Remember, oil and water do not mix together. So you need a little help from emulsifiers. Hope this helps! :)
@@muhammadizzat6218 she doesn’t though. And it’s not being mean the video quality would be enhanced with proper production equipment that wouldn’t be a lot to invest in. The issue is you think I’m being mean I’m giving real constructive criticism that would actually HELP her.

I just purchased a diffuser and wondered how much oil to use. The info was very helpful.
Thank you for this information. I will be more careful with defusing for long periods and around my animals.
you're welcome! Glad to share this info with you. :)

Regular tap water or does it need to be purified or distilled? I usually use distilled in all of my small appliances, humidifiers, etc.

How old babies can use essential oils?
Essential oils are highly concentrated substances. We should refrain exposures to EOs for kids younger then 1 year old. :)
People are diffusing oils at night, so they don't smell their farts when they wake up the next day 🙈
But I'm not a mom tho
