Very sorry for the delay on part 2 , a lot has been going on and I will update everyone on the stream coming up! For now lets finish this amazing film! I loved these 3 films and this story has a wonderful conclusion. I could not hold back my emotions at the end.

I will say for the record; Davy Jones is one of the best movie villains imo. He is also highly misunderstood, and is cruel for a damn reason.
Davy is great but doesn't even make the top 100 movie villains.

@@IdealUser Definitely is in the top 100, like the only movie villains I can say are definitively better, including tv shows are probably: Joker, Vader, Homelander, Joffrey Barathion, Thanos and Hans Landa. Can't think of anyone else. Some people could make the argument that Voldemort, Sauron, Agent Smith etc. are also better but they are too one-dimensional to be put above Davy Jones. I'm also not including anime/manga/comics cause there would be more but you said yourself movie villains. I'd say, with a conservative estimate he's somewhere in the top 20/30 and since all this is obviously based on preferences to some like me he may be even higher.
@@patrickwitek Let's not forget Magneto (X-Men), Loki (Marvel), Gellert Grindelwald (Harry Potter universe), Grant Ward (Agents of Shield), Kathleen Kennedy (B*tch that f*cked up Star Wars). True movie villains.
@@Oshaoxin Fair enough on Magneto and Loki but definitely not Gellert I just don't see. Gellert was hyped but because the movies are kinda disappointing so is he, like ignoring the hype that's been around him cause of him being the original dark lord in Harry Potter and just looking at the movies he's not that good. Haven't seen agents of shield so can't say and yeah haha but she's a real villain 😂 at that point might as well put every politician on there etc.
Calypso is literally the sea. Davy Jones can’t get over her because he’s in love with the sea, forever. Also, that’s why her nature is to be treacherous, she’s the sea.

Becketts comeuppance for me is one of the best villain deaths in cinema history. Great villains DESERVE great cinematic deaths and this movie did not disappoint one bit. Beckett had never lost before and upon realizing he had lost was so struck by the mere reality that it had happened had absolutely no response to it.
A truly perfect scene.

Hans Zimmer has scored some bangers of OSTs but "One Day" from this movie is like top 5 for me, it makes those ending scenes come together perfectly
There are so many of them. The organs of that song that Davy Jones plays as it slowly turns only into the sound of that music box on the edge of that organ...so well done. This trilogy is a masterclass of music writing. The way their lovethemes evolves throughout the movies is also pretty amazing.
Beckette was paralyzed with confusion, because he couldn't understand what went wrong when both the Pearl and the Dutchman came after him.
I just realized that Davy Jones stabs Will Turner with the sword he forged for Norrington in the very first movie, very cool full circle moment.
Not only that but Will I would assume then takes that sword as his own. Him making it in the first movie for it to be passed from person to person to then come back into his possession in the third movie is pretty cool.
Do not listen to the people that tell you not to watch the others, they are still good movies. Nearly all of the reactors that have been told not to watch them, but have watched them, have really enjoyed them. You should definitely watch them.
They're okay, although still a step down compared to the original trilogy. I feel like the biggest issue with them is that they are way too centered around Jack. In the first 3 movies, the world felt much bigger and interesting with other main characters while still having Jack driving the story forward.

If you remember the first movie starts off with Elizabeth and Will meet for the first time, then it turns into a scene that ends with them meeting again many years later. Jack was only a supporting character, it was their story all along. Dont get me wrong these movies would be nothing without him what Johnny Depp did with that character is nothing short of brilliant it is really an iconic character played to perfection. I agree that they should've ended it there. Now that being said, the next two movies are very different but they are still solid movies. Nearly not as great as the first three but they are more than worth a watch. They're entertaining and made very well. But this trilogy set the bar really high.

The fact that the sword that Will forged for Norrington being the one that killed him is still a sad fact about this movie. A craftsman being killed by his own tool 😢.
This finale ... I love it, Beckett is a wonderful baddie and Geoffrey Rush is such an amazing actor ...
The foreshadowing of Will's destiny in both the previous movie and this one was very well executed. And Barbossa is my favorite character(beside Jack obviously), Geoffrey Rush did such a great job with the role and so many of his lines are damn good quotes. Also, Teague Sparrow(Jack's father) was played the Rolling Stones guitarist Kieth Richards.
This is arguebly the best movies ever made, in my opinion. Love, Hate, sorrow, longing, disasters, miracles... perfection.
Just to say, the ships leaving after the flagship being destroyed was not as unrealistic, because the pirates have gotten the "immortal" ship on their side. And on that topic, the captain going down with his ship is very honourable, i didn't expect that.

I know disney wanted to do at least one more of these movies but if Johnny Depp doesn’t return, then I am afraid it won’t be very good. Johnny Depp really made these movies what they were.
I think the last two movies prove that it takes a lot more than Johnny Depp to make these movies good. Even if he were to return they'll never capture the magic of the original trilogy again.

The sixth film is actually in the works as we speak.
I was in the first movie as well as the third. After the first movie, before it was even out in theaters, we knew that Johnny had signed on for six movies. I'm still in touch with some of the cast as well as Johnny's double. As I understand it, Disney has two scripts ready, one with Jack Sparrow and one without and which one they choose will depend on how negfotiations go with Johnny.
In my opinion, if they go without Jack Sparrow, it'll tank at the box office. (There's no guarantee I'll make it into the sixth film - if it happens - but I'm still waiting for the call to action one more time!)
@@Firefax Any chance you'll tell us who you were then? 1st and 3rd makes me think of one the two funny redcoats. Also, besides Johnny, at minimum they need Gore Verbinski back as director for the next movie to have any chance of being good.
"You're in my way boy" Love Captain Teague and discovering the dog is his!Love whe Dutchman rises from the depths with the crew no longer cursed amd Will at the helm and the look on Becketts face and the scene where he finally gets his much deserved death.Everything else i had to say about this movie i said in part 1 all i'll say is "Hoist the colours!!!"

Don't listen to the haters! The 4th & 5th movies have different directors but they're still great movies & Depp still plays Jack Sparrow. It also adds a lot more to the story, would love to see you react to those! Especially the 5th movie, you get a bit more of Elizabeth & Will.

The wedding in the middle of a battle on the ship is also great lol. Also in those times, Captains of ships were also able to marry people as if they were ministers lol.
Congratulations! Both the trilogy and your move. I would continue on to the next 2 movies eventually. (no spoilers) The characters are too good to miss out on. You saw the really good parts, you can stand to see the "not as good" parts (4th, 5th movie) as some say. They have more things that you will appreciate than the lack of it. Come back to them later on and it will be nostalgic. Thanks for sharing your emotions, that is what makes your reactions so good; can feel your emotions coming through.

I think you should definitely watch Breaking Bad, Game Of Thrones (even with a divisive ending), Stranger Things, The Godfather Trilogy, The Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler’s List, Band Of Brothers, and The Sopranos at some point, Stef

3 months late to the party 🥳🎉 but oh well! I've yet to see a reaction of this movie 🍿🎥 that recognizes captain Teague is being played by KEITH RICHARDS the guitar 🎸 player of the ROLLING STONES! Years later I'm still amazed by the Barbosa and Davey Jones portrayals. Though I think all 3 movies are pretty equal, (actually that's probably why) I'll say the first is my favorite!! You should definitely watch the remaining 2 films. Their quality fluctuates but they're all fun enjoyable adventures.
Pirates aren't every known for being honorable, trustworthy or good (to m knowledge, there might be some in actual history, there were honorable outlaws of the old west with were basically the nest gen pirates on land), but Jack is one lol.
Mr. Crabs strikes again. Where do crabby patties come from? ;-) I was separated from my wife and daughter for 16 years, more or less, but fate turned around again in my favor ;-))
The fourth and fifth POTC movies are still fun to watch even though they are not as nice as the trilogy! The fifth one is touching too and kinda a closure for Will and Elizabeth!

This is my favourite Pirates movie. And I agree with other commenters: it should have been the end. BUT.. the next one is not bad. But the one after that is terrible. You skip that one.

Remember in deadman's chest when the story of WHAT Davey Jones well in love with? The sea or a woman and she corrects them that it's the same story, but different reasons? Not just a fun nod to how folklore changers, but they are LITERALLY the same story. She's a seas goddess who literally is the sea. And the saying: _"Men must BECOME, women just are."_ The seas just IS, it's the nature of the sea. Like women, no offense, but women like to pretend they've evolved past their nature. They haven't, neither have men. But it's partly why we love you and hate ourselves for loving you.

Hands down one of the best trilogies ever lol. They get meh as they go on, but for the sake of mythology and pirate folklore, it's great. But World's End is my personal ending to this series.

11:42 This speech is the best scene of the trilogy imo. Elizabeth is the main character, the story begins and ends with her. This is her reaching the peak of her potential, from scared royal princess to pirate lord. Top strongest female characters in all of fiction by far.

The series continues, the next two aren't great but do continue to toward finishing the story
i personally loved the last 2 movies (On stranger tides, Salazar's revenge) because it dove more into jack's personal life and whatnot, also considering everything johnny Depp went through with Amber Heard, i enjoy those movies even more.
