I failed at the singing exam and lost the confidence to sing. However, your videos have helped me to regain my faith in learning to sing! Thank you so much!
This is certainly in the WOW category. Really sorts out the dedicated singers if you ask me. It would be so easy to "take a break" but for me, the improvements I have made under your guidance, have been due to sticking with the full lesson from start to finish. I didn't know whether I would get through this not too short of a 40 minute warm up but I am so pleased that I held in there and as a result, I feel not only have I continued with the upper body warm up (always do these before vocalizing) but also completed a facial warm up too, with the lip and mouth placements for singing the vowels. You have excelled once again, and I hope everyone else appreciates your hard work on the piano as much as I do. Thank you SO VERY MUCH Jeff. That does not sound enough but it is heartfelt.
You must be an excellent person, besides being a dedicated professional. Such a great job!!! Showing the keyboard is good. Please do not stop with these well structured lessons! I wish people would buy your products, to at least compensate your commendable generosity.
Thank you! I appreciate your kind words and appreciate you being here! Enjoy the channel!
Jeff
I love how you do warm downs after a great workout 🎶 🏋️♀️ 🎶
That one made me feel like a kid at the playground! So many fun things to do!
All your lessons have really helped me strengthen no only my voice but to sing correctly from my core. Thank you
THIS WAS WARM UP I BEEN LOOKING FOR PAST 8 YEARS AFTER LEAVING MY VOICE TEACHER
You're welcome! I am glad to be of service!
Jeff
Fantastic! If I do a warm up like this daily I know I'll feel a rapid improvement!! I like the warm down at the end! Well done!! Thanks!
You're The best voice coach for me... I thought I am Alto but since I did your soprano lessons I hit high notes (soprano) I never expect... Super thanks ❤️
PHENOMENAL!!!! This is gold, thank you so much Jeff!
This is such a huge help getting ready for my senior performance recital. It's like strength training in between distance training! I know if I do at least this everyday my voice is getting a good workout.
Excellent workout thanks Jeff ;) wishing you all the happiness and success you deserve
I've had a cold and not getting as high as I used. I will keep trying. Thanks JR
I would like to add to my previous comment. This lesson is SO well constructed and thoroughly useful, tackling so many sides to singing. I just adore the whole video, not least the section between (approx) 25 and 32, the one with the octave scale with an arpeggio - really good practice for coloratura. This has helped me a lot with coloratura, which I feel is developing more and more, and stronger. So as always, a great BIG bundle of thanks, not only for the wonderful layout (as in all your videos), but the time you set aside for us all.
Thank you Diane! Well spotted on that exercise!!! I couldn't say it better myself!
Thank you!
Jeff
I agree this helps immensely. 🌷
My new favourite go-to exercise for stamina, and accuracy. Thanks so much Jeff🙏🏽
Loved this, it's my new favorite. I did the 10 minute gentle warm up first. Thanks Jeff!
These are so awesome! I’m so glad I subscribed. Brings me back to high school days of all state choir
I love Patreon. Getting the MP3 is awesome. Thanks for your diligence for making these videos. One of the most informative on RUclips. I’ve learned so much. Some of the other channels there is too much explaining and talking. You just get to the heart of the lesson. Thanks 🙏
Thank you so much Alice! I appreciate that!
Jeff
Love the pentatonic!!! 🤩
I have a new favorite warm up . This warm up really shows me especially towards the end that I’m not as warmed up as I should be. Wow,Yea ! I love a challenging vocal exercise and this is top drawer. Your mind really understands us high sopranos Jeff. Thank you 🙏 very very much. Cheers ✌🏻🎶x
thank you so much, Jeff, for great exercises for always - this one is really really helpful! well-balanced work load and even with warm down.
Thank you Jeff. Ive been using this one everyday. I like being able to see the keys on the piano so i know my notes. What is the first one after the vertical wood strut? I think it probably a middle C but I’m not sure
Hi Jeff, I'm loving this work out!
I discovered I'm a Full Lyric Soprano Classic Crossover this time last year. I've not practiced much as I've had loads of stress not felt up to it (marriage breakdown, move etc)
This video has inspired me to progress.
I can't thank you enough!!
I'm D2~ E6 at the moment I'm hoping I can go one not higher to the 4th Octive.
I also reach whistle tones 🎶🙏✨
Wishing you all the best you deserve it!! Xx
Hi Jeff, which workout would you recommend for warming up before performing a few songs? My throat feels a bit tired after the comprehensive workout xx
thanks from Venezuela!
Many thanks Jeff. Your sessions are really special. If I would only do them more regularly I would be a Primadonna already. Lol. Thank you
This is my favorite lesson of yours. Thanks. :)
This is a very very good one! Thank u!
I love it! This is a very good! Thank u!

I am now a fan but not from the start funny enough!
But a dedicated fan now!

Thank you, Jeff! :D
We love you Jeff
Big love right back at you!!!!
Jeff
Hi Jeff, this is one of the videos that still has ads breaking in during the exercises. I think you sent a message recently asking folks to let you know. :-)
Hello! Yes, thank you for letting me know! Sorry if they are disturbing your practice. As soon as I finish typing this message I'm going to check it and fix it. Thank you again!
Jeff
@@JeffRolka I personally don't mind them since I appreciate that I'm benefitting from your expertise for free!
Wow Jeff. This one was good.

Loved this one!
İt was really good challenging!
It's like you can hear that I need do it again! LOL!
Great
Jeff, how high do your soprano videos go? Where are the passages for sopranos?
Shila
Thanks for watching! It varies from video to video, but not lower than b3 and generally not higher than e6.
As for the passaggi for sopranos, I would direct you to this:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passaggio
Scroll down for soprano and other higher tessitura fachs.
Best!
Jeff
I love those exegesis! Thank you very very....much!
Jeff in your "how to sing high notes part one" video. When I do the top note in the head voice sound, will it eventually turn stronger and become my chest/mixed voice? I've been doin it everyday but the sound doesn't become stronger
Not really. It's not going to become anything on it's own. That first exercise is about learning to access the upper register consistently. After that video there are two more that work on practicing that transition in order to be able to do it smoothly enough to maintain consistent tone quality across the registers. That practice will help you make your voice stronger in the sense that it will sound consistent and have better volume.
If it's any help, I endorse what Jeff said. It is very important to work on the transitions. If you devote time to this, your voice should hopefully become stronger and more resonant. My head voice has become much stronger and if anything I have to try and "tone down" the volume! Perhaps you have now reached the stage you were hoping - hope so!
Love 💖💟💖
Molto utile facile da seguri
I'm doing it in Jeff's octave 🎅
Just a suggestion, but maybe you should try the Alto and Mezzo lessons if you haven't done so already?
@@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano1394 Thanks, usually I choose the tenor exercises: I'm a low alto :)
@@mamymimma That's fine. Whatever suits you and helps with your singing, that's good! Happy New Year to you.
@@dianeshepherdlyricsoprano1394 Thank you, Happy New Year!
@@mamymimma Thank you and have a great time, and enjoy the singing!
I didn't know Joker was a vocal coach.
Jeff! I'm pretty sure I didn't imagine it, there was an alto video like this right? I used it last week and I can't find it! Not even in my search history, could you share the link for it? Is it still there? I absolutely loved it, tricky at times but I imagine after trying it a couple of times will get easier, much thanks in advanced!
Indeed! You are absolutely right! Here you are!

I thought maybe you'd like the mezzo one too:

@@JeffRolka i don't know why it never showed up when I searched for it! Thank you so much!!! Those low notes are great! I am alto and soprano 🤷♀️ haven't tried the mezzo since it's usually too in the middle only, but will give it a shot, curious on the exercises now!👀 Thank you!! 🖤🖤🖤
