So I hate to use the word tackle...... cuz it shouldn't be that difficult but I'm getting ready to tackle this myself........ all the other videos show put the bracket together with Loctite and then good luck seems to me that would be better to put the whole thing together a little bit loose make sure it all fits and then tighten it down..... we'll see how things go...... this should not be this difficult......

They might rotate a little as you take a sissy bar on and off so you might have to go through it again lol. Good luck on the bars!

How do you get it off to replace the plastic bushings that got damaged as the inner part just turns closest to frame and won’t loosen

Easier said that done. Trying to get mine to line up so that the latches will work. So far not much success.
