Sissybars are typically sold in three pieces (Cobra is the exception and is sold as a complete kit)
1. Model specific mounting brackets
2. Backrest Upright (normally in low, standard, and high options)
3. Backrest Pad (various sizes are usually available)
Sissybars / passenger backrests come in two mounting styles: Hard Mount or Quick Release

A luggage rack is a helpful item when traveling and adding a luggage rack to your sissybar is simple if your keep one thing in mind...
1. Manufacture Is Key!
If you have a "X" brand backrest, you will need an "X" brand luggage rack!
Drivers Backrests
Most driver backresets are make model specific and some will only work if you have an OEM or stock factory seat. When shopping for drivers backrests, look to see if they mount to the fender, seat, or side rails / fender rails of your motorcycle. If it mounts to your fender rail, will it utilize the same bolts as your sissbyar / luggage rack or saddlebags? Mixing manufactures and stacking accessories can give you an unique look and ultimate comfort, but often times they do not play well together. If possible, limite the number of brands and choose coordinating items.
