Didn’t realize Ilkka spoke English so well. I thought people said he couldn’t. Maybe that was the case 13 years ago, but Matthew’s voice is undeniably Alan.
Yup, it's too late now when the identity is established, we love Matthew as voice and Ilkka as body Having said that I also love they both have 100% own characters in RCU as well, Matthew as already legendary Dr. Darling and Ilkka as Thomas "now that is drama" Zane
I personally believe that Alan Wake 2 is almost an entire different game, Alan Wake 1 was creepy and mysterious but Alan Wake 2 is more sinister and unnerving which I think is the perfect way to do it
Yeah, it's kinda hinted that Mr. Door is actually the same character Reddick played in Quantum Break, Harewood kinda reminds me of him too in this game, apart from the visual resemblance he looks like he also adopted the same mannerism and speech pattern
@@NekoHibaCosplay - sort of. It's hinted but can only ever be hinted, because they've also made it clear that becasue the QB IP is owned by Microsoft, it's not part of the formal canonical 'Remedy universe'. The universe is, so far: Alan Wake (and all DLC, including American Nightmare but slightly retconned), Control (and all DLC), Alan Wake II.
I hope that too. I wish Remedy can buy back the Quantum Break rights from Microsoft selling it to Epic Games (just like they did to Alan Wake to make it remastered) and remastered it to PlayStation 4 or even PlayStation 5. If that does happen I would so buy Quantum Break for the PS5 instantly.
I feel like the devs really hit their mark with this game. every time they mentioned something like "we want the graffiti to feel like its sending a message to Alan" or "we think players will return to Saga's story to take a break from the constant uneasiness of Alan's story" I can recall specific points playing the game where I thought to myself "Is the graffiti Scratch taunting me?" or "Fuck these shadows, I'm gonna go shoot some cultists in the woods" It's a shame this got released along with a bunch of other massive titles, I hope their effort doesn't go unnoticed. They turned me into a Remedy fan with this game.
Everything about this game is amazing the level design is the best I've seen, the graphics quality, the detail in every wall, the sound, the performances, the acting, the soundtrack , everything is unbelievably good.
This is awesome - long known Remedy at large and Sam Lake were brilliant creators - it’s clearly Sam’s baby - but in listening to the rest of the team, you can see they did a great job hiring team that really are just as passionate and excited about it as Sam is. Really think this game is going to surprise the industry and gamers this year… people seem to have been sleeping on this title until as of late as release approaches. BG3 was awesome - and TOTK obv is a mammoth but this is my GOTY Dark Horse for 2023. It also looks like they are going to truly be able to show the raw power of the Northlight engine - also slept on somewhat - in the top 5 engines out there. The lighting and physics alone are nuts

he lived in US for a while whe he was 14
It might just be that his accent was a little too thick back then.
he spoke English really well back then but still had some accent
@@timberm4n379 That's hardly the reason for his English to be honest, it's pretty common for a Finn to speak English.

If they ever make a sequel to Quantum Break, Harewood would be perfect to continue the work of Lance Reddick
Then lets hope that Microsoft let them make QB2 :) I liked Quantum Break too.

@@SmashIntoStones I heard Sam Lake is talking to Microsoft about that, Quantum Break had it's issues on launch but it's definitely a great game

The interview with Ilkka Villi and Mathew Porretta must have been done around the time they were completing live action photography.
That's exactly what I thought, haha.
At the very least while they were filming for Tom

Finished the game....too good...need more...MORE!!!
It’s funny cause I think Illka’s voice kind of sounds like Matthews?? They could be like, idk.. half brother’s at least 😄
May be
I thought that was always illka's voice 😮
The Dark Place version of New York is what I feel will be used for the Max Payne remakes
This game was so good! I don’t want to start anything new at the moment bc NG+ releases in a couple days.

David Harewood is english? Didn't see that coming.
Alice and Saga's actors are English as well
