    I hope those fish on the stringers are lake trout. You need to explain that so tourists don’t have the idea they can keep native trout when they go to GNP.

      @norbertrossi7925 those are brook trout, which are non-native to the whole park. Lake trout are actually native in Glacier National Park in the Belly River and Waterton drainages, however, Lakers are non-native and extremely invasive and destructive in the flathead and two medicine drainages. It's the angler's responsibility to read the regulations and learn to identify fish and learn which species are native to which parts of the park. The ranger stations and visitor centers have regs and species identification pamphlets that cover all of this very clearly. Thanks for the view and the comments! (A quick Google search of the GNP fishing regs will inform you that Lake Trout are both native, and non-native to GNP, depending on which drainage we're talking about.)
