Mine came with the spare tire and kit and they all fit and lock under the og mat. So this one probably does as well. What he needs to do is to take out the foam that came with his half kit and put the tire inside with the junkyard foam kit on top and put the og mat on top of it. It should fit perfectly and elevate a little. The og mat accepts said elevation. Now the plastic tray he bought probably won’t be of use after that.
If the tire came from a 2006 Acura it probably needs to be replaced even though the tread is good. Tires dry out over time and aren’t designed to be used for that long. You might get home ok, but I wouldn’t risk it.
That tire repair inflator stuff will mess up your tpms and the dealer will charge you an arm and a leg plus that repair kit is hundreds of dollars. Get a spare tire and jack is the way.
Excellent way better than expending on FK8 kit

There's no sensors in the wheels.
Second point not to use a spare tire in front of a Civic Type R is to damage the LSD because of constantly different wheel speeds on each side.
You just need to get somewhere safely. It's not a permanent solution
@@a124as no need to be risky. To swap the punctured front tire with a rear one is not a difficult task
