Great instructional video👍👍👍. But can you ask a question? If on a green with no slope, if my putt is very diagonal, but it is still straight on the GSPRO, can I adjust the direction of my putt through parameters? If Yes, I want to use this to train my straight putting...Thank you
It’s possible that your gspro settings are incorrect. There is a mode for realistic putting or you can make it easier which softens the horizontal launch angle. I believe the software defaults to an easier mode. I don’t know exactly where to find the setting but look in your gspro settings. I haven’t used it so I don’t know to which extent it’s affecting your putts but it sounds severe. Even my straight putts seem to show offline 😅
Thanks for the video, I plan on setting up my webcam putting tomorrow. Do you have an idea how many feet of read the camera needs for an accurate putt? I have a 4x5 mat and I’m curious, if I put off the back of my mat would I get enough read for an accurate putt before the ball fell off the mat or do I need to putt off the mat for a consistent roll beyond about 3ft? Thanks for any info you can provide on this
Depends on how far away your camera sits from your mat but my camera window is about 3 ft long with my setup. It’s probably possible to keep it on the mat! Good luck with your setup and let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks man! I hope it’s going well over there. The 60 fps makes a massive difference. When I record and stream, my fps takes a huge hit. When I was stuck at 30 fps, any putt over 30ft was pretty much a joke. Now I can hit 80 ft putts with accuracy
Once you fine tune those settings like at the end of the video do you go to the mlm connector file/config file and then change them there? Or how do you get that to save so that when you open webcam putting the next time it saves all the other stuff you fine tuned in GSPro ?
You would have to change the setting directly in the config file and save that file if you want them to be permanent. Some settings such as brightness, contrast, etc. seem to update automatically in the file so most of my settings are permanent but I manually adjust my brightness most of the time, depending on the time of day and the ambient light.
You’ll love GSPro. I can’t believe businesses still opt to use E6 when GSPro exists. How’s putting with the mevo+? It’s about the one launch monitor in this price range that I don’t have experience with
@@UnrealGolfSandro Hmm I don't have a good even flooring for putting so I'm not able to set it up ideally. I just use the autoputt feature. Once day I will have a large open putting/green to drive and putt off of.
Hello. Great video. I am just getting ready to start this and am wondering if the 60fps camera can be mounted on the ceiling and look down. My ceiling is about 9 feet tall.
It’s probably possible but you might want to go up to something that’s a little better/optimized for zoom if you want to mount it from that far. There are some options in the sub $100 range that I’ve been looking into. “SVPRO usb camera” is one I’ve been looking at but have yet to pull the trigger. I’d like to mount mine as well but I think I’d need even more fps for it to work as well as it does now.
Thank you for the video. I got the putting working and my camera works well only when the Exposure is set to AUTO. However, the setting resets on every time I open Ball Tracker alone AND each hole I play in GS Pro so I have to open Advanced setting in each hole to click AUTO for the Exposure. Any tips on making this a default setting? I am using the same camera you have, connected to a gaming laptop by USB, and Garmin R10.
3:45 In the video, when I’m looking at the putting settings within the connector, I choose “send to back” for the putting window. There’s other options that close the window each time and reopen it. That gave me trouble, resetting the exposure just like you. The other thing that’s important is all your files for the connector have to be in the same folder. I noticed when I tried to move the application out of the folder, it never opened my config.ini settings when I ran the connector and essentially reset all my settings. Check on the first point I mentioned and let me know if that does it for you.
@@UnrealGolfSandro even more basic question but the camera is defaulting to the integrated camera (0) but not camera 1 which is the HD camera. I moded the config file to make 1 the replay cam and it reads it as replay camera.
Nice video. I am using normal white balls without any problems. I prefer to play with the same ball no matter what the shot. I found the biggest issue was having consistent lighting conditions in my shed where I have my simulator set up.
