I think the 200$/yr is worth it as long a they continue to release improvements. You're paying for access to an ever-evolving product. In 3 yrs the experience is going to be even better. I hope they add multiplayer functionality. And they should. 200$ is not pocket change, but worth it if they continue to add features. I can see adding swing analysis features like the MEVO pro software has for an extra small yearly fee. I'd pay it. Hopefully internet-based tournaments, etc. If they offer value in the experience people will buy. Heck I can see this being a model based on the subscription software experience more than the device, as long as the subscription cost remains reasonable. Many companies get greedy and next thing you know they charge a leg.
im leaning towards getting it for this winter. i think the new junior tees are great. it would be cool if they could add a selection that randomizes between shorter tees. you can then basically turn any course into a par3 course which would be really cool. as it is you can turn every one into a par 3, but it would be the same distance every hole
I have only had mine about 3 months and I am pretty happy with it. For the price point it is hard to beat and no subscription for the first year. The update is very nice but I do have an issue on mine where my indoor and outdoor distance numbers are different. Outdoors it is very close to my real on course numbers but in my garage my distances are 10-20 yards shorter.
At you using the RPT ball indoors? Also, it could be radar interference with the various things in your garage. I would reach out to Rapsodo to try and troubleshoot because that’s a huge discrepancy in yardages!
I think it could be some bugs/glitches that kick up later on during Beta testing that slow things down a bit. They definitely don’t want to release something that isn’t fully functional
@@andrewjensengolf there isn't a problem with marking your own golf balls? I am genuinely asking. I just bought one and want to practice with Prov's also.
@@codybush1500 marking your own balls would eventually wear off... and if you're hitting into an impact screen, it would leave black marks on the screen as you hit more and more shots. I do believe the ProVs are available now though!
How does it compare to the Mevo+? I know the price points are miles apart. I have a Mevo+ with the pro package. So I have a lot invested. I don't do SIM golf. I have no where to do that. I use a net for and my Mevo+ for practicing when I can't get to the range.
@@andrewjensengolfahhh ok, thank you! - do you think this is a better buy than the FS Mevo? Cant decide between the two and the subscription was throwing me off.

When will it come to the public?
I know it’s a weird question but will it work with a foam ball or soft golf ball?
How did you/could we get beta access?

I know they always love and are open to feedback/suggestions to make the app and overall experience better!
man i need this update to go public
Wish granted
Chipping is significantly better. This beta update is phenomenal and worth the $200 annual fee. I am looking forward to future updates.

@@andrewjensengolf Hi Andrew, Yes, I am using the supplied Callaway/Rapsodo balls. I have not tried talking to them so I will give them a shout.
I am running optishot thru my pc to projecter. Can I do this with Rapsodo ? Thanks. Great video !
Rapsodo software is tablet/phone only, but I still run it through an HDMI-lightning adapter from the iPad to my projector.
It does seem like the graphics are still lagging a bit behind home sims like the MEVO+ is that true?
Maybe a hair behind what e6 produces (that’s the third party Mevo+ uses)… but you’re also tying to compare units/software that are nearly $2000 apart
But did they fix the distance thing or is it just mine?
Can you use this without any subscription?
Is the firmware update available now?
Does it work with a Windows Laptop?
They are now offering a $500 lifetime membership
Yes! Incredible value
I love my unit but why is Rapsodo so hush hush about a release date

Did they add multiplayer?
Yes!
When they gonna add in the Titleist balls?
Soon, I hope

Is this still the beta or is it released to public today??
I think it should be released this week… if it wasn’t already
Awesome thanks so much! Mine still shows up to date at 3.8.20

I made a video comparing them head to head, so hopefully that helps answer your question!
I might be stupid but I paid the $500 for life instead of the 200 a year
Unreal deal they just rolled out!
How did you score that deal?!
@@reginaldpeterson6190 they offer that now
