She was the main heroine in Arc 1, while Arc 2 was mostly focused on suabru getting to know about the mansion inhabitants, And also getting closer To Rem and winning her trust, Arc 3 is where Emilia didn’t seem like the heroine anymore and Rem took her place temporarily, but yea Arc 4 and the rest of the upcoming Arcs Emilia plays a big roles as the heroine of the series next to the hero Subaru.

I'm so proud of her that she faced her past memories that she recovered and forgotten about the trauma that has happened back then before she got frozen
And even though Echidna hates Emilia who resembles someone she truly hates, she stills gives advices and tips for the remaining trials to Emilia
To be fair, is it really advice when it's just "so, for the remaining two trials... urgh, you actually got this. No fun." But it's certainly an interesting dynamic they got here, and I really hope we'll see more interactions between them in the future.

You can hear the pure animosity that echidna towards Emilia in her voice when she says she hates her
Thing is, I actually am not convinced. Her "hatred" is laced with something too akin to... hurt. I wonder how close she and Satella were before Envy killed her. Or what happened between Echidna and Emilia's mom. Or if Emilia is related to her in some way. Echidna rarely shows much emotional range due to her Authority, but she does have strong feelings, positive or negative, regarding the other witches. I'm betting it has something to do with Satella and whatever happened 400 years ago that wiped most of them out.

So LN readers pls don't spoil but I had a thought; the first trial is looking into the past, second is an unthinkable present, third is presumably the future, Emillia has only done the first trial while Subaru did the second and saw worlds after he died. What if Emillia did the second trial and saw the things that happened to Subaru? That would surely be heartbreaking to her to see someone she loves be hurt so badly.

So I was wrong about that and as an Emillia fan I am happy she didn't have to suffer seeing that but also if they did that it would be such a powerful and emotional scene but the scene we got was also super powerful and emotional just positive and I am very happy now!

Man I can't wait till Wednesday... it'll be the first we'll be witnessing the second trial... for Subaru beforehand in the previous episodes he witnessed his 'return by death' deaths before reviving again at the latest checkpoint...so I wonder if it's going to show Amelia her deaths or maybe just her doubts/regrets in her life. Guess we'll have to find out!! Also Echidna said she isn't going to cope in the next trials, so this is gonna be interesting...
I don't know if we'll see the 2md trial next episode. Last episode left off on Subaru and Roswal talking about the real reason Sanctuary was created so they'll do that first and later I don't know what will be shown especially since this arc quite a few things tale place at the same time

Now she must take Trial 2: Unspeakable Present which for Emilia it wouldn't be too difficult but then that depends. The real problem would be Trial 3: Unimaginable Future where who knows what might happen.

I think that would be forced plot because echidna have no reason to tell her that
Echidna could tell her without Envy's involvement, but I doubt Echidna is interested in divulging that information, especially to her. Though I do think the beans will be spilled by someone. There are multiple characters that know about his Return by Death. We know at least Echidna, Roswaal, and the other witches are aware. As the expression goes, two can keep a secret if one is dead. My bet is the first one to figure it out eventually will be Betty.
@@mgh7634 While I agree with you, I will point out that Roswaal doesn't actually know that Subaru can Return by Death. He just knows Subaru can "rewind". Not how the activation works.
