I've searched other AMV for this song and this is the best one of them. It even develops the story of Emilia and her feelings through the animation, perfectly matched for the song itself. Until the first drop, all we saw was Emilia in black and white, but when the drop comes, all is suddenly colorful as she meets Puck. He leaves her later on, finishing the drop, as we see her in lots of depressing scenarios. The next drop shows us Subaru, how he has become an important person to her to the point he is on the same level as her past loved ones, and it finished with a bunch of wholesome moments. Thank you, Sakura, thank you.
This is PERFECTION!! I loved how you started with a very subtle prose with a lot of the clips in the beginning. Then it builds up like Emilia's story in a way thats dedicated to her. Because she deserves everything thats been missing in her life. Literally like a door she can never get through herself, so then Subaru being the catalyst for her to move forward, she finally has the key to open it herself (the key being Subaru). Then you reward us by revisiting the confession/kiss scene in the final chorus of the song which was well done and EXACTLY how I would've edited that as well! I felt every emotion in this AMV. Hats off to you! You just get it when it comes to Emilia and Subaru. I think Tappei did right by creating her character. Its ironic how in the beginning so many fans loved Rem and HATED Emilia and were shallow about it fo NO good reason. And in the story we also see how much she is hated for NO good reason. She is perfect because of how humanly flawed she is and not the generic trope like lesser humans think of her. Bravo!! ❤
I didn't expect this video at all! Great job. I like that the colors from the gray started to get more colorful as the song got happier(1:15, 2:46). Emilia definetely needs more appreciation! Now I can see this AMV has been split into three parts: 1. A sad past. 2. The present, telling you to go on. 3. The future, that is uncertain.
Yes, i was experimenting with the colors since i'll need to be familiar with them for one of my future projects and Subaru bringing back colors to her world is also kind of canon because of the believe in you ending. And yes people don't really appreciate Emilia much for whatever reason but i absolutely admire her!
Thanks a lot! I'll try and have been trying but in the end it usually just boils down to the song i choose like for eg. Straight bet, Wishing, What you don't know, Realize and Memories. All these songs are super hard to work with for different reasons.
@@U.S.G even tho i really like straight bet and want to make an amv on it soon, i don't think it'll be a proper one since the song is like 4 mins long and it'll be extremely badly paced and slow (the fact that the song is kinda hype will make the slow scenes look even worse like what happened with a lot of the scenes in realize) and it'll probably be really repetitive bc the song is long and the only scenes that really fit it well are really few. Or i could just slap in whatever to fix the repetitive/slow parts but again that'll make it worse in other ways, so it's kinda a stalemate
