There is a great section on different wood and what to use for what kind of job and a similar section for tools as well. The projects in it are things you probably would have a go at with clear instructions, pictures, videos and diagrams throughout. Great for a beginner/amateur wood worker.

While it looks great, it needs more floor support especially at the center. A few more legs in the middle will prevent the floor boards from flexing. The roof boards need to overlap to prevent rain penetration. Need to bolt all four corner legs down to the cement ground or a storm will blow it away.
With lumber prices going thru the roof We are going to see a lot more used lumber being used which I don't mind using it myself because every stick of wood still thinks its part of a tree an looking for its limbs an roots lol
This project looks beautifull if you look at it from design perspective, thats great! But if you look from engineering perspective, its horrible! Couple examples: two of four main beams are touching ground- that is bad becouse the ones who are touching the ground will rot verry quick. Floor is way too thin + boards have holes from nails, you should put two layers. Attaching boards with these thin wire nails is bad becouse boards will get loose, you should have use screws. To enter this structure you have to lay down your head to not get hit by a beam = bad ergonomics. There is no rain protection, becouse all the water will get through the sun roof boards and hit people, furniture and floor, the wood doesnt like water becouse paint will go away more quickly and wood will rot more quickly. Also bad ergonomics becouse users will get hit by water when they use it in the rain. You could have atleast put plastic roof membrane, 2 cm breathing distance and another layer of boards. I don't know much about weather in your area, but where I live, in east Europe, this gazebo will be rotten away in a few years if its not treated with super toxic and good wood protection paint.

I agree ~ the floor joists have no support except for the corners. This will not be able to carry any significant load.
One should remember that he was using recycled meterials.
@@azmandelan1878 he didn't used leftovers or recycled. he cut all big and thick size boards into small and thin.

And the seating needs more support. It wouldn't hold 3 people on a side without possible collapse.
Lovely job .just a bit flimsy though, and why do all these wood work videos show the saw without a guard.
