You should make a video that breaks down a pay package. (Stipens, differences between Blended Hourly, Per Diem Rate). I've gotten so many offers but not sure what's a good pay package and whats not.

9....9 agencies called and or emailed me when I mistakenly put my info in a site.
And I mean they call all DAY and NIGHT

I have a question about using several companies. So all these companies are going to call my references? I don't know about that. I ignore most unknown callers, and having numerous people calling me for a reference would be annoying (even if it's for a good friend)...

Yes I’m working on my first travel assignment and they wouldn’t go forward without hearing from my references. Thankfully it only took a day for my references to return my recruiter’s call.

man you're so helpful. Thank you for all this great information. I'm interested in travel assignments but I would like to gain my experience first. I've been a telemetry nurse for 1 and half years and in ICU for about 7 months. ICU traveling is what I would like to do when I'm ready!

So funny that literally the FIRST thing Flexcare Staffing told me was that if I submitted jobs with multiple companies I could get into big trouble. SMH.

Does anyone know about traveling to VA hospitals and how does licensing works with the government? I know as an employee of the VA you don’t need a license for that state?

well i dont disagree but, actually if your getting a lot of phone calls thats great. you want to have recruiters that are willing to fight for you. if they dont they are not worth a squat. plus they are more likely to fill out all app stuff and just work harder in general. . it helps keep you on your toes. You know when there good if they find you an assignment quick and even better where you want to go. Decisive..? id think flexible is a good term to describe at first. if your not flexible travel nursing wont work for you until you have endless exp or a specialty

If you need good medical insurance.... There's only a couple Travel companies in the industry that provide Premium (Equivalent to Hospital Staff Medical Insurance) Medical insurance, at a low, to no cost. Needing those benefits definitely deducts from your Negotiating power. I wish I didn't need premium insurance because I think about all the money I'm missing out on. There's not much Room in negotiating.... but I do Try. Travel Nursing is Awesome though!

Hi I’ve signed up what a company to be a travel nurse I’m in the process of doing my nclex. So far I’ve done everything financially for myself. I’ve signed contract with this company but I don’t want to do business with them any longer. How do I go about breaking contract and try another agency. Ps I’m a foreign nurse.
