Hmm... i was taught to have the bulk if the weight up high... not on your waist... but is a great concept and I like your gear.

Totally disagree where bulk of weight should go. Mid to higher for comfort.

So did it take 5 (manned) trips to pack that animal out?!

Does this frame work with ALICE large and medium? I think I could attach ALICE bag on top of the frame..can I?

Yes, you can put almost anything on the Mainframe. It truly allows you to build a pack that is customized to your wants/needs. I change setups depending on the hunt I'm going on, as does everyone here in the office. Thanks for the question!

I’ve tried a pack on at Cabela’s. When I did I adjusted it to the max torso setting and when I did I feel it made the load lifters almost non existent. How was it in the field did it hail well? Or did you wish the load lifters did more?

@@Codidicus I have the blue widow pack. Great pack, the load lifters are the down fall once you load it up with 60+ lbs. My nephew has the mainframe and bag and the dragon fly. He loves them both. We have loaded the mainframe without complaint. At eberlestock price range you will be hard pressed to find something much better.

Hmmm.... I was looking for the IBM Mainframe and ELK (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) stack.

You loaded the pack upside down... The higher the center of gravity (heavy end up and lashed as high as possible) the easier it is to carry... 😉👍

Low and tight? I respect you alot as a hunter and love what you do but that is contrary to anything any top pack company reccomends

Is it possible to carry a hind quarter high and tight? Don't think so. High and tight for all normal loads though. - Dan

@@EastmansHuntingJournals could have ran the shank down behind the shelf to the game bag then strapped the weight high and tight. Easy
