Love the new automated stop/next station messages, but I wish they would continue to use the sexy recorded voiceover for the "doors closing" notices instead of this awkward computerized voice.

it's not bad as computerized voices go...Amtrak's in Union Station is terrible

I wish they had the door chime on the 2000-6000 series trains. This new one is just awful.

I like the next station and line color announcement, but I don't like the voice of this one

Jake Lunceford yeah, the Kate Ivona Voice sounds too robotic, they could've used Dave, Eric, or Julie instead.

gross. Randi was way better. Also I hate that these trains don't have carpet. They look so aseptic.

Iain Hendry the carpet is harder to clean. Also, this new flooring looks better.

I'll have to agree with you, the Randi Miller recording did it for me, it's literally my favorite recording from the 1K to the 6K-Series trains.

However, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the flooring. Do you even know how difficult it is to clean out the train's carpets? That is why Metro decided to take them all out and replace them with a floor that is not carpet material.
