I think the AMG One would be faster overall for it's feats, but the main thing I saw right away that could give the AMR the edge is the sheer weight difference despite similar power figures - actually even more power for the AMR. P/w ratio alone gives the AMR the advantage.
ofc there is weight and power, the amg is less powerful and heavier. the valkyrie have less aerodynamic drag and more downforce. the efficiency of the AMR is just insane, and the AMR PRO is even more.
@@ipo7596 not sure about the bolide, they can use thier w16 since it is allowed BUT they have to get the power down to 700hp. in therm of weight saving, the w16 is not optimized with his 400kg (minimal engine weight is 165kg)...the bodywork seems to be out of rules at first sight so the real LMH model would change look wise. if i was bugatti, i wouldn't use the w16

@@xnotasweatx probably not, the car would be no faster if the wings went up, you can see by the way it was acting in corners, more rear wing would've just added understeer, and it could be just not showing visually. Especially awd cars don't need nearly as much rear downforce as rwd

@@kinka16 straight line would be the same as in the video but the rear wing plus the pop out flaps in the front produce like a good chunk of downforce and you say that only mechanical grip was needed, if the Mercedes had its active areo it would be able to do the fast right hander out of the long straight a lot faster and would've been able to hold off the valkyrie, that was really the valkyrie's only overtaking opportunity as it got aero vs no aero on the Mercedes. the Mercedes was in front off the line and defending position is easier than overtaking a position. the valkyrie has some sophisticated ground effect areo going on underneath and front spoiler and rear wing. isn't really fair coming a car with aero to a car without areo. only thing the Mercedes had going for it was the 4wd launch off the line then it was pretty much defensive the whole time
@@Jesko. i didn't mean it has a bad aero, it just have a less effective one. if 2 cars produce the exact same 500kg of downforce at the exact same speed, if one have a higher drag coefficient, this one will have a slower top speed, less fuel efficiency and it will require more power to be accelerate. it has a poor aero in comparaison to the valkyrie. btw active aero does not mean good aero. (the guy on top said it is a "f1")
@@kinka16 Active aero is impressive. And a car that has it can not be considered to have poor aero. And what your saying is still wrong. F1 cars have some of the wordy aero efficiency there is. Because they're open wheel and open cockpit cars. The amg one is more aero efficient. Far more than an F1 car and is stil more aero efficient than the Valkyrie. Down the straight it will activate active aero and produce less drag. Active aero does mean good aero. But I guess that and it's F1 engine made it overweight.

I personally prefer cornering/lateral acceleration capability over power, so I like the Aston.
Just one problem though. I live on a dirt road, so neither car would fare very well. I probably couldn't take either one home even if I wanted to 😅😢
