Fun fact: Loki was actually supposed to die in this film however, when they did the original screen testing no one believed that he died. Everyone just kept saying “it’s a trick right? He’s coming back”, and so they decided to keep him alive and the scenes of him becoming the guard & then Odin were filmed shortly before the release.
11:55 This and the earlier scene with them together really shows that Loki really loved his mom. Literally the way he fights is the way she fights and he learned all his abilities from her
I like his movie and do not fully understand the hate it gets. The bad guy is underwhelming though. But Captain America Winter Soldier will show you why Captain America has the best series of films of any of the MCU heroes. Firs Avenger, Winer Soldier, and then Civil War. All very good to great movies
Btw Loki is a trickster. Doing what he does is just in his nature. Is what he does. He's the trickster god or the god of mischief. It's not like he can control it, that's just what he is.
@@neospock5034 Yeah my point is that's just his nature... he's deceptive and that's just who he is. He can't help it. But yeah here he's a Jotun, but still a trickster
This was the first time Hemsworth played Thor with his natural hair grown out, instead of extensions and such. Maybe the only time actually, but he likely had it for Avengers: Age of Ultron too for sake of ease.
In the end credits scene, The Collector (Taneleer Tivan played by Benicio Del Toro) is an old character that in the comics is one of the oldest beings in the universe, and is one of the Elders Of The Universe. He collects extremely rare things, often things of immense power, but also species that are all but extinct. For instance, he's got Howard the Duck and Cosmo the psychic/telekinetic Russian Dog in containers to keep them alive, but also part of his collection. He's a bit quirky, and a bit weird. He's also sort of a brother to The Grandmaster who you'll probably see later in your MCU journey. Your overall journey with the MCU is setting up seeds for something VERY big, and it'll take you a number of movies to get there, but the overall payoff is really good. I won't spoil it for you. Just remember all the things from these movies and you'll see why it all is very cool.
in fact, loki has his series, and there he declares his pain and frustration for the death of his mother and for odin, odin was never a good father for him, only his mother, he is not "bad" because he wants to, They will find out when they see their series
For the kiss between Jane and Thor in the post credit scene, Natalie Portman was not available to shoot the kiss. Actress Elsa Pataky was used instead since she was on set watching her husband (Chris Hemsworth aka Thor) work, that's why it's so passionate because it's a real kiss.
@@mr.puppetktrpuppet3306 yes bro you are right I don't understand why this movie get so much hate for no reason 🤷🤷🤷 It is not the worst Marvel movie definitely not like fantastic four 2015 which is the worst Marvel movie ever made
For me, it wasn't so much hate, just disappointment. By this stage the MCU hype machine was at an all time high, so when this wasn't "as good" as the rest, I think people reacted out of disappointment. I feel the same about Iron Man 3...I quite liked it, but remember a lot of people were down on it at the time it was released. :P
Never got why Thor never got with Sif. She’s a beautiful warrior who probably understands Thor more than an earthling.you probably have to look at the release dates on the movies. I think there’s websites dedicated to it.
Hollywood shows and franchises seem to do this a lot for some reason. Show the audience better relationships while constantly having the character settling for something less.
Loki would probably be cool if Odin allowed him to succeed him concerning the throne. I believe Loki only betrays Thor because he believes that he could be a better king than Thor. Thor is a better protector than a king
14:02 Lol, hold it guys, it's not like Loki's actually bleeding or something in that scene. RUclipsrs who break down these videos to find secrets of the MCU movies, have clearly stated that Loki stepped on Cherries in that scene. Cherries they give in as prison food. Lol. Loki is always dramatic. Otherwise why would he be bleeding from inside a prison? 😅😅

You’re such a beautiful couple I love your energy and enjoy watching your reactions. I subscribed and it was a treat to see you become fans of LoTR, the greatest story ever told. And now we’re on this MCU journey, can’t wait to see you react to Winter Soldier, one of my favourites! Good job, all the best to you!
Yes, most of the films in release order actually follows the chronological order of the MCU..with some exceptions like Captain America: The First Avenger.. next is Captain America: Winter Soldier..its the beginning of top-tier films for the MCU..then Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man concludes Phase 2..Phase 3 will be Captain America: Civil War, Dr Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, Spiderman: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame and ends with Spiderman: Far From Home..
I know that I am going to get a look so may be a few thumbs down to this comment, but this is actually my favorite Thor film. A lot of people knock it but I actually like it! I really don’t get why it gets all the heat. The only criticism agree with is that the villain was weak. He could’ve been a lot better. The overall story, though I thought was good!
I wouldn't worry about the Collector getting the Infinity Stones. There's someone more dangerous and powerful who wants them. And next is Captain America: The Winter Soldier. One of my favorites, actually I like all of Cap's movies. The next movie is when things really start to kick into gear with the MCU story.
Right. The Collector is not a bad guy - but he's not a good guy either. All he cares about is his collection. He's not above doing something unethical for the sake of adding to his collection, but he's not out to kill anyone or take over the universe or anything like that.
Fun fact: the scene with the scientist guy Selvig running around naked and being apprehended by police wasn't actually in the script, it was just the Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård going a little crazy after a wild night of drinking. Somebody filmed the whole thing on their phone, and they ended up working it into the movie. :) Those Swedes I tell you, you can't take them anywhere! /Swede

Loki’s learned his favorite trick, the illusion, by his mother. And much more. He definitely loved her
He learned everything from his mom, he loves more people in his life than fans think.
Fun fact: Loki was actually supposed to die in this film however, when they did the original screen testing no one believed that he died. Everyone just kept saying “it’s a trick right? Had a friend and his dad who work on marvel movies I can confirm this is true!

Loki is the god of mischief, he's not a killer as such, he just likes causing trouble
And it's not like Odin and Thor aren't killers themselves. Odin especially.
He killed 80 people in 2 days
