Given to him by the Chitauri. Who were working for Thanos. I don't think it was Ultron perusing the Internet that brought him to the decision to wipe out mankind and, especially, the Avengers. I think it was already pre-programmed. He was the back-up plan in case Loki's invasion failed. Thanos wanted to soften up Earth's defenses, kill all the Avengers or maybe even all of humanity, so that he could just waltz in whenever he felt like it and whenever he was ready and grab the space and time stones (because he's still in the process of locating all of the stones and doesn't want to act and tip his hand by going after more than one before he knows that he can quickly obtain all). Why else would Thanos allow the mind stone to get lost to Earth when he's trying to collect all 6? Thanos sent Loki to Earth to subdue it because he knew that there were 2 other stones on Earth; promising Loki rule of Earth and the Chitauri rule over the galaxy because these things don't matter to Thanos- he only cares about the stones; but he didn't trust Loki to fulfill his mission and so Ultron being embedded inside the mind stone was a failsafe. Ultron thinks he's making decisions of his own (and is deeply insecure about not being independent and original as evinced by anyone noticing similarities between him and Stark) but he's not... he's a puppet, too. Also this is the only way that post credits scene and Thanos showing up saying "fine, I'll do it myself" makes any sense... otherwise... what the heck is he talking about? Do what himself? He's referring to the failed missions of both Loki and Ultron to defeat and pacify the Earthlings so that Thanos could grab the 2 (now 3) stones on Earth.

Printed on the baby's tee-shirt seen in the quick-cut to the photo Clint sent to Natalie's phone she is looking at near the end of the film.
Technically speaking, Nathaniel is not the male version of Natasha, but we all know what you mean. It's a similar sounding name, deliberately chosen to honor Nat. "Nathaniel" means "gift of God", a Hebrew, Biblical name. If there is a male version of the name "Natasha", it's probably something in Russian. There are several names that are the same with male and female versions, like Stephen and Stephany, Paul and Paula, Harry and Harriet, Daniel and Danielle, etc. Likewise, there are different versions of the same name in different languages. "Peter" is a very popular one in Marvel for some reason. Marvel was so salty about not being able to get the rights to X-Men back from Fox for many years that they retconned the twins in the comics to actually NOT be mutants and NOT be children of Magneto... and for several years they were also basically trying to kill off the X-Men comic books and forbade writers from making any new characters because those characters would instantly become Fox properties in cinema if they first showed up in an X-Men book... they were trying to get people to care about Inhumans instead of mutants even though they were basically the same thing... (and now, fast forward a bit to Mrs. Marvel on Disney + and Kamala Khan is a mutant in that show, not an Inhuman like she was in the comics) I don't know if since Fox and Marvel both got bought by Disney they decided to undo this retcon... it's hard to keep track of what is or is not canon in the comic books they're always changing things.

Hey guys I’m really digging your guys reactions to the MCU movies . At this point in the movies the stories start to get a bit darker and deeper and better so we are here for your reactions !
The basic terms for love triangles, named after the Archie Comics, are The Betty (sweet innocent girl next door type), The Veronica (sassy, outgoing agressive type) and The Archie (the primary love interest). Bruce Banner's ex-girlfriend is Betty Ross. Tony, being trope saavy, named The Hulkbuster Armor after Veronica Lodge of the Archie comics to keep with the theme of Bruce being The Archie.
7:31 "Excelsior"..was Stan's catch phrase to close Marvel's fan page where he'd let fans know what was coming up next..""till next month, Mighty Marvel Fans--Excelsior!!" 30:54..That's magnets in Cap's glove created for him by Tony 32:20--Even in the MCU comic history, Fury's always has a trick up his sleeve. 34:37 "Shut UP, puny Ultron, Hulk smash!! "39:43..No fair, Tony had his armor systems to help him avoid the debris, but poor Thor took a 100 mile landing in the water! (Fortunantly, he IS mighty!) Loved the battle scenes even more than the 1st movie (And creepy-voiced James Spader as Ultron)!
Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played Wandas brother .. Among other rolls played a really good young John Lennon in Nowhere Boy, he is developing into a great actor
Funny story about the avengers trying to lift Thor's hammer. The reason Black Widow didn't is probably because in a different Marvel universe she does lift it and the writers didn't want to have to make that judgement call.
This is one of my favorite marvel movies, I think Ultron is such an epic villain, his voice is cold and sophisticated with the right amount of sass like Tony
I love this movie, to me it’s better Avengers movie than the first one to be honest. Ultron is such an amazing villain (was created for like 10 seconds and knew humans has to go). Also Wanda is gonna be a beast in future movies and I’am looking forward to see your reaction.
I was today years old when I found out that Clint’s baby’s middle name is Pietro😮🥺. All these years, I don’t think I ever knew this. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! It’s keeping me company while at work❤❤
Age of Ultron is definitely an underrated film it sets up so much without many people at the time realizing it and pretty sure to this day the events of Age Of Ultron have an effect on the MCU. Ultron was honestly a pretty good villain and might be my favorite villain in Phase 2. Shame though the director doesn't really get talked about much anymore in a positive light considering some um not right things he did and some problems actirs and actresses had working with him
I think everyone realizes it sets stuff up... most of the people rating it low were complaining that it spends so much time doing this that it doesn't really have a chance to be its own thing, and it suffers as a result when viewed apart from the rest of the MCU.
About the actor who plays Ultron... Name is James Spader and human Robert Downey jr. Are where best friends in College... So when MARVEL asked RDJ who he would want to play ULTRON he recommended James for the role, and boy was that the best call.... The way Spader portraits Ultron literally goes against everything Tony Stark does.
Notice Ultron was created before tony and bruce had any input to edit, Tony told Jarvis to run simulations, not run simulations and use the one that works and bring it to life so to speak it's just that one happened to bring ultron to be self aware just happened to work. They also didn't have enough time to make any edits to what ultron considered a perfect body aka vision's body, they just took it as is, and started uploading jarvis.
The New Avengers HQ scences were filmed literally up the road from me.... At the UEA (University Of East Anglia) we where we walk our dogs.... We could see them filming ..
@@JoeVonD eh... Antman and Dr. Strange were both as good as any origin solo film in Phase 1 but did nothing to really stand out IMO. and Black Panther kind of sucked IMO... easily the most overrated film in the MCU. But Guardians 2 is great. Spider-Man Homecoming, while not as good as the sequels, was a nice little intro to MCU Peter. Ragnarok and Civil War are both top 5 or top 10 MCU all-time. And Infinity War is top 3; arguably top 1. Good stuff ahead... even if not all of it is perfect.
Ant Man was one of those great ones, where they dug up an obscure character from the comics that most people had never heard of, and they made a really incredible, funny movie from it. He's played by Paul Rudd and is hilarious!
When it comes to Stark and his counter measures for situations, they work in the movies, barely, but in the comics not at all. Stark is Marvel'a version of Bruce Wayne. Both characters developed counter measures to deal with villains and their own teammates alike. But also like Wayne, Stark took samples of each team member secretly upon first meetings with them. In the comics, Stark has a series of suits calles "Busters" specifically designed to counter the being they're designed for. His most famous of these suits is the Hulk Buster suit, which we see in action in the movie. In the comics he went through at least 3 different designs and upgrades to deal with Hulk specifically and each encounter has met with mixed results, mostly failiers. Stark also has a Thor Buster suit that when he first used it against Thor...well...lets say Thor stripped Stark butt ass naked and left him in the middle of no where.
You guys are doing great with the reactions. Keep it up. I have been watching for a few months, and your channel is my second favourite reaction channel. Every half a week I go, "time to check if The Perfect Mix has a new film reaction video." Also, yes the "release order" is the right way to view it.
I really enjoyed “Avengers: Age of Ultron”😁😁🔥. The storyline was great as I loved the new characters such as Quicksilver, Scarlett Witch and the antagonist Ultron as James Spaded was just amazing with the voice/his negative philosophy. I was devastated with Quicksilver dying as he gave his life to save the kid and Hawkeye🔥. Hawkeye was amazing in this film and how important he was to keep that bond between everyone. My favorite as always is Thor as I loved the scene where everyone tried to lift his hammer and Cap almost lifted it. Loved your reaction, take care and have a good one👍❤️
I'm so glad you got it right away! Hawkeye is the normal person on the team, like you said he keeps them grounded. Actually an incredibly important team member.
Awesome reaction video! I'm catching back up on the stories, seen them before but it's always fun to rewatch them, and fun to see yalls reactions, feels like watching with friends.. especially when they watch it for the first time! 😁
Well it wasn't really considered Canon by Kevin Feige and the MCU if it is then it'll be a soft reboot same actors playing same characters but different events happened. Up until the Disney plus series started to happen and come out no previous Marvel live action series was considered canon
@@VColossalV but the MCU doesn't mention events of Agents of Sheild. So it's kinds canon kinda not for now unless stuff from Agents Of Sheild pops up in the MCU films and series and if they do it most likely will be a soft reboot
@@JacksonLane02 no it doesn't, but it doesn't mention any events from any other show either, the only exception to that really is WandaVision. The Winter Soldier tie in was pretty substantial. Fury even showing up in the S1 finale wearing the same outfit he did at the end of Winter Soldier and in Age of Ultron.
Love the journey you guys have been on so far. After Captain America 3, I would suggest for you guys to watch Black Widow after The entire movie is supposed to take place around that time (before Avengers 3) & doesn’t spoil anything. Only the end credit scenes can’t be watched. I think this adds so much more to context that would be unique to watch for the first time in order. Love the video we can’t wait for you to get to Antman!
Veronica is one of the two major love interests of the character Archie from the Archie Comics. Betty is the other love interest character of Archie. Betty is also the name of Bruce Banner's love interest from the Hulk films. Stark and Banner designed the Hulkbuster as a means of stopping the Hulk if he ever went out of control. The Hulkbuster was named "Veronica" (probably by Stark) because Bruce's girlfriend was named Betty. It's poking fun at the "Betty and Veronica" characters from the comics.
Hawkeye is consistently underrated. In many ways he's the glue that holds the Avengers together and motivates the team. He's like the guy who works in the background and makes sure the other characters get their best chance to shine. To me, he's the most relatable and down to earth. One thing I've heard a lot of people complain about is that end credit scene with Thanos, that Thanos didn't have anything to do with the movie and the scene feels tacked on, yada yada. But what they forget is that Thanos was searching for Infinity Stones and no doubt keeping tabs on the ones he already knew about, like the Mind Stone, which was in the scepter he loaned to Loki and in this movie was removed and used to create Vision. So Thanos must have been thinking the Avengers just used my own Infinity Stone to create Vision, a direct roadblock to collecting all the stones, so fine, it's time to take a more active role in collecting these things. I think Vision's creation is what really kicked off the events that led to Infinity War.

and for several years they were also basically trying to kill off the X-Men comic books and forbade writers from making any new characters because those characters would instantly become Fox properties in cinema if they first showed up in an X-Men book... they were trying to get people to care about Inhumans instead of mutants even though they were basically the same thing... (and now, fast forward a bit to Mrs. Marvel on Disney + and Kamala Khan is a mutant in that show, not an Inhuman like she was in the comics)
I don't know if since Fox and Marvel both got bought by Disney they decided to undo this retcon... it's hard to keep track of what is or is not canon in the comic books they're always changing things.
"Then again, he can't dodge everything"
I had to take a moment at that comment because of how unintentionally prophetic it was
Age of ultron aged so well !
Hey guys I loved your reaction to Avengers Age of Ultron so happy I got to see your reaction together !!!
Pietro gone too soon, I really wish I could see more of Aaron Taylor Johnson in other movie, shout out to Hawkeye for naming his baby after him ‘Nathaniel Pietro Barton’. Also this is the start of Wanda’s journey and I love her sm ❤
Hey guys I’m really digging your guys reactions to the MCU movies . At this point in the movies the stories start to get a bit darker and deeper and better so we are here for your reactions !
I fall in love with this channel more and more each day. Amazing reaction! I’m so glad to start this journey with you guys. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
The first Avengers may be a better movie, but I can rewatch the second Avengers multiple times!!
I’ve been really enjoying your reactions to the MCU and the other films you two check out, keep up the great work
Up next, Ant-Man! 😁🍿
16:58 he got her saying "boxing"
When tony and hulk punched hands together a transformer exploded outside my house and I was like why was that punch so loud 😂😂
Age of Ultron is my favorite out of all the movies.
This is one of my favorite marvel movies, I think Ultron is such an epic villain, his voice is cold and sophisticated with the right amount of sass like Tony
This film saved the franchise in a way because it was responsible for booting Wheadon and Pearlmutter from the franchise. Best thing to ever happen.
I love this movie, to me it’s better Avengers movie than the first one to be honest. Ultron is such an amazing villain (was created for like 10 seconds and knew humans has to go). Also Wanda is gonna be a beast in future movies and I’am looking forward to see your reaction.
Nah, The Beast is a different character from the series. ;^P
I was today years old when I found out that Clint’s baby’s middle name is Pietro😮🥺.
All these years, I don’t think I ever knew this. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! It’s keeping me company while at work❤❤
The beginning and final battle in this movie are one of the best in the MCU.
No, its the weakest Avengers movie, they made Ultron a joke. Stop tryna defend it.
Tony- "That up there....That's the Endgame."
Before any of us knew.
@@Meepie_Playz
Oh stop being a baby! It’s a Great film, and Ultron is a Fantastic Villain!

Imo, this is the most underrated MCU movie. James Spader as Ultron is terrifying as he is amazing in his performance
Great reaction. Wanda and Pietro are the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in the comics.
Pietro dying kills me.
To have come so far and then go out like that is just brutal
I was today years old when I noticed Clint’s baby’s name is Nathaniel Pietro Barton. So subtle and beautiful since he saved clint!
I love it when Ultron says: THOR!! , You are bothering me.
btw the twins in the comics, are the children of magneto
so from here it's Antman - Captain America Civil War - Dr Strange - GOTG Vol 2 - Spiderman Homecoming - Thor 3 - Black Panther - Infinity War
Nothing but straight bangers on the road to Infinity War
@@JoeVonD eh... Antman and Dr. Strange were both as good as any origin solo film in Phase 1 but did nothing to really stand out IMO. and Black Panther kind of sucked IMO... easily the most overrated film in the MCU.
But Guardians 2 is great. Spider-Man Homecoming, while not as good as the sequels, was a nice little intro to MCU Peter. Ragnarok and Civil War are both top 5 or top 10 MCU all-time. And Infinity War is top 3; arguably top 1. Good stuff ahead... even if not all of it is perfect.
i can't wait for yall to get to, civil war, and ragnarok lol.
The next two avengers movies are in the top 5 all time box office. Epic is an understatement
The twins names are Pietro and Wanda Maximoff
They are better known in the comics as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch
Next: Ant Man
On Deck: Captain America Civil War
Oh, Wanda. My favorite character from anything ever. So happy you’ve met her now.
You should definitely check out Knight's Tale if you wanna see more of the actor who played Vision. It's a classic.
Ant Man was one of those great ones, where they dug up an obscure character from the comics that most people had never heard of, and they made a really incredible, funny movie from it. He's played by Paul Rudd and is hilarious!
Can't wait till you guys get to the Hawkeye tv show, you're going to love it!!!
Hope you two are having an great and awesome weekend ❤
Super great stuff! Can't wait for phase three...Ant Man is indeed next
You have so very much to come ❤️
You guys are doing great with the reactions. Keep it up. I have been watching for a few months, and your channel is my second favourite reaction channel.
Every half a week I go, "time to check if The Perfect Mix has a new film reaction video."
Also, yes the "release order" is the right way to view it.
Paul bettany voiced jarvis he thought his role was over then he got the role vision to play
I'm so glad you got it right away! Hawkeye is the normal person on the team, like you said he keeps them grounded. Actually an incredibly important team member.
You guys made our(me and my gf) night❤️. Thank you soooo much. It's 12:32AM 🇮🇳
Awesome reaction video! I'm catching back up on the stories, seen them before but it's always fun to rewatch them, and fun to see yalls reactions, feels like watching with friends.. especially when they watch it for the first time! 😁
The first 2 Avengers were my favorite. Amazing comic book movies. And the birth of vision was epic for me.
The Helicarrier came from Agent Coulson in Agents of Sheild, you have to watch the show in comparison to the movies up until Infinity War.
Well it wasn't really considered Canon by Kevin Feige and the MCU if it is then it'll be a soft reboot same actors playing same characters but different events happened. Up until the Disney plus series started to happen and come out no previous Marvel live action series was considered canon
@@JacksonLane02 it's definitely canon they even tried to tie in the snap/Thanos
@@VColossalV but the MCU doesn't mention events of Agents of Sheild. So it's kinds canon kinda not for now unless stuff from Agents Of Sheild pops up in the MCU films and series and if they do it most likely will be a soft reboot
@@JacksonLane02 no it doesn't, but it doesn't mention any events from any other show either, the only exception to that really is WandaVision. The Winter Soldier tie in was pretty substantial. Fury even showing up in the S1 finale wearing the same outfit he did at the end of Winter Soldier and in Age of Ultron.
Yoo that quote, "That up there, that's endgame" at 9:47
just found you guys the other day! Thank you for an awesome reaction
I always enjoy a new reaction from the perfectmix of the "OOOOOHHHHH!" and "OOOOOOOO!" channel
6:50 War Machine was not in the last Avengers movie. In fact I think the las time we saw him was in Iron Man 3, but not in any other Marvel Movie
You guys are PERFECT
Love the journey you guys have been on so far. After Captain America 3, I would suggest for you guys to watch Black Widow after
The entire movie is supposed to take place around that time (before Avengers 3) & doesn’t spoil anything. Only the end credit scenes can’t be watched.
I think this adds so much more to context that would be unique to watch for the first time in order. Love the video we can’t wait for you to get to Antman!
I love thus movie! Watching you two react is awesome, you absolutely react to all the right places. Epic!
On this day in 2015 the movie was released. One of my favorites.
