@@ImJamieXClearly you're not thinking, it's literally named as one in the post-credits scene with the Collector. So.... the comments section isn't going the way you planned
A lot of people HATED this movie when it came out. Of course, there were a bunch of people who didn't like the first Thor and/or the first Captain America.
@@cringekiller348 Personally, I agree. But when that first movie came out, a lot of people didn't like it. Even today, when critics rank all the moves, it's frequently very low on the list, although it depends on the critic.
Not really spoilers just comic lore since you've already seen him in Guardians but that guy they gave the Ether too is the Collector. He's ancient being, he's really really old. But his whole thing is he's a collector of the rarest things from across the Galaxy. He's not evil or good more chaotic neutral, but the reason they trust him with it is because he has no interest in using it to harm people he's just a collector and will store away.
He's part of a group known as the Elders of the Universe, beings who are the last of their kind, and all have a personality quirk, such as The Collector, the Grandmaster, the Explorer, the Architect, etc.
The great thing about this one is that they 100% planned to have Loki _actually_ die in this movie, but the test audiences simply didn't buy it for a second, so they decided to pivot and shoot the scenes that left him alive, and... the MCU has been all the better for that decision ever since.
Also from the first Avengers movie I did leave a comment regarding Loki, but I deleted it cause people decided to come at me sideways, but while Loki’s actions were.. yes evil he himself isn’t necessarily a quote unquote “villain” but after learning he was the son of a frost giant that led him to believe that Thor was always favored over him, and also believed that he was lied to about being loved as if he was Odin’s own, Loki’s just a broken and troubled man
I now know why I subscribed to the channel is because you guys liked The Dark World like myself, not too many can say that. To most MCU fans this movie is a low ranking from phase 1. Thanks for the reaction!!
Glad you guys liked this one as it's really underrated in the fandom. It does play a significant role later too. Fasten your seatbelts, because things are about to kick off!
Yeah, I don't get the Fan take on this. Maybe they couldn't follow the 9 Realms Convergence thingy? Anyway, I like this way better than Ironman 2 and 3.
I believe this movie had Loki actually dying in the beggining but after people kept asking: "Uuhhhmm, and... where's Loki?" during test screenings they had to go back and shoot the scenes with the guard and the one with Thor 😅
from here on out, you're in for a treat..if you enjoyed the previous ones, you're gonna love the next ones..the gems of the MCU started with the next ones with Captain America: Winter Soldier, GOTG, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man for Phase 2..
Heimdallr (pronounced hym-dawl) in Norse myth is the watchman of the Bifrost from his fortress at Himinbjorg. Son of Odin and nine mothers, he possesses supremely heightened senses, namely eyesight and hearing, and it is said that nothing can escape his gaze. He is also described as the "whitest of gods" :P Sif is Thor's wife, possessed of the most beautiful golden-blond hair, which Loki (Thor's uncle) shaved off as a prank. That tale involves him going to the dvergr (Dwarves) and asking them to craft gifts for the gods so his crime may be forgiven, among these gifts a wig of pure gold, and incidentally, Mjolnir, Thor's hammer :P "That guy" is Chris O'Dowd, Irish actor most well known for playing Roy on The IT Crowd :P The Nine Realms - -Asgard, the civilized realm of the Æsir, the 'high' gods -Midgard, the human world, our world -Vanaheim, the more natural world, home of the Vanir (cousins to the Æsir and more 'natural' gods) -Jotunheim, home of the jotnar, the giants (not just frost giants), a chaotic wilderness -Alfheim, the bright and beautiful realm of the light elves, who revered the god Freyr -Nidavellir, home of the dvergr, great craftsmen who forged many magical relics for the gods. The Prose Edda is generally considered by historians to be inaccurate in this respect as it introduces Svartalfheim (swarthy elves, swarth or svart = dark or black), but this may have been confused with Nidavellir as both are underground realms. Svartalfheim is generally considered not officially part of the Norse cosmos because of this. -Muspellheim and Niflheim, the two primordial realms, one of eternal fire and volcanic ash, the other of unending ice and snow. Where the two met in ancient times and commingled, the giant Ymir was born and life began. Surtr, King of the fire giants, rules over Muspellheim and is one of the major antagonists of Ragnarok, the end of the world. -Helheim, also called Niflhel, is situated at the very bottom of Yggdrasil, and is ruled over by Loki's daughter Hel, who is half-living and half-dead (literally, split down the middle that way). She was placed there by Odin to rule over the dishonored dead, and they too will play a part as an antagonist in Ragnarok.
Fun fact: Not sure if you’d see this. But the post credits Where Thor kissed Jane, that was actually Chris Hemsworth’s wife wearing a wig because she happened to be on set and happens to be the same height as Natalie Portman 😂
Yeah, so from now on I think pretty much all future MCU movies have 2 post-credit scenes; 1 midcredit and then 1 at the very end so you just gotta let it all play out so you don't miss one :)
Only Asgardian warriors need to die in battle to go to Valhalla. Aesir Gods on the other hand are guaranteed to go to Valhalla regardless of their actions. Thor, Odin, Baldr, Frigg, Heimdall etc. will go to Valhalla regardless if they die in battle or not. The dying in battle thing only applies to mortal warriors and mortal asgardians (not all asgardians are gods).
Yes Loki be grateful I saved your life, never told you the truth and always treated you like second best. Be grateful I didn't kill you and accept the fact that you will always be inferior to me. You're evil because you want the throne I kept telling you about since childhood but I'm a good person and father when instead of thinking the well being of my sons the only thing I care about is that throne!
Thor wasn't really nerfed much... he was basically the same as we saw in Thor 1 and The Avengers. The villian was definitely the weak point of this movie.

My excitement for The Winter Being next cannot be contained, it’s one of the best if not THE best MCU movie
One of my favourite movies, Captain America: The Winter Being!

the winter soldier is amazing!!
