"but she saw his true bride plain before her now; the sword" what a badass line, I'm a Stannis man all the way but without the red wedding Robb may have truly won the war
Yeah, it's difficult to argue with that But I do agree that Robb couldn't win even if the Freys stayed completely loyal and the Boltons decided to stay in line The plan was to regain the North Which Robb could have done But afther that,he will be up against the combined force of the Lanisters and Tyrells which he can't beat. From book 4 it's a bit hard to predict what would have happened, would the Vale of Arryn or Dorne made a move??? Also the inclusion of Euron and Young Griff makes this even harder to predict
@@CheeseCrumbs00 I mean, he lost the Freys, the North and the Karstarks. Even if he somehow didn’t get clapped at the RW what could he have done? Catelyn Tully cost him everything and pissed off most of his lords, and the rest were either tired, or just as angry
@@thanosalaarson8290 He would've recaptured the north for sure then im not too sure, maybe take a defensive position at moat calin and the hold the neck against the south if it comes to it. Can't predict past that. The Tyrells and Lannisters wouldn't march north without storms end and dragonstone taken, not to mention if they did they would leave the south undefended with the dornish armies in the boneway. Also they would have had to deal with Jon Con too so Robb would have some time.
@Palantiri because supporting renly would set a awful precedent for a way of things that they all agree with for the most part. These guys follow and believe in the right of succession and as Robb pointed out Renly cannot be King before stannis, plus in the books I believe they still didn’t know about the incest yet, I believe that’s stannis that sends the ravens with his claim. So they believed Joffrey was the rightful ruler above renly.
@Palantiri These lords do not want to break the status quo, what’s to stop their more popular family members down the line of succession from rising up against them? That’s why they continue with their tradition of following the line of succession. On a side note we know stannis isn’t a true believer in R’hollor and is just using it as a weapon and repeatedly reigns his zealous followers plenty of time. With Renly completely doing alway with the line of succession it would cause many issues such as a succession crisis.
@Palantiri it didn’t happen during Roberts Reign because he was next in line to the throne. Viserys was disposed of as a monarch and so Robert was next in line, having the 7/9 regions on your side def helped.
I may hate Catelyn but this scene is all of her fears culminating. Just the tension rising as it slowly starts to dawn on her whats happening. It's like Illyrio says about Myrcella to Tyrion, "To Queen her is to kill her."
@@thanosalaarson8290 Best way to make sure House Stark survives? Give it to a random Vale lord instead of Ned Stark's Biological son (As far as they know), when that doesn't work, compare your sons best friend to the psycho who murdered your two youngest! (As far as they know)

To explain: Catelyn wanted to act indignant at the idea of the Northern Lords encouraging Robb to war, and wanted to mope about the fact that Robb was being crowned king. She was bitter about how her baby boy was suddenly being shouldered with that kind of immense responsibility. This despite the fact that she was the one who *started* the war by kidnapping Tyrion without proof that he was the one who had attempted to kill Bran. If she had genuinely wanted to avoid war and protect her children, she would not have committed an act of war while her son was currently an acting Lord of Winterfell.

Ser Stevron Frey is genuinely one of my favorite characters. So smart, so reasonable, so honorable, so patient. Stevron!! King of the TRIDENT!!!
Tfw the Frey gave the most sound argument
Some houses rose to power through skill in battle. Other's as a reward for their service to their king. But the Freys rose to power through cunning.

I like the music but it gets pretty loud bring it down by like 15% and its perfect

The music is too loud
Stevron Frey had the best idea. Let them all fight it out and then see if you want to fight or bend the knee.
They killed Robb this day
Soo good
What is the music on this
I believe it is a song from Skyrim but I don’t know the name of the song
In Order
Kevin MacLeod Death of Kings
Kevin MacLeod Five Armies
Kevin MacLeod Rynos Theme
