I can't express how much I love your readings, I hope you do a one for the sample chapters I'd love to see your take on Bariistan's speech and on The Forsaken one
Wow , 3 people disliked this.. this is one of my fave maynce parts pf the books.. it shows who he really is. I was love the part when he encapsulates the spirit of grrm by showing his anarchist side
I love Mance but one problem I have with his character is how he sees the watch. These men basically raised him but he doesn't care. I know he probably sees himself as the great underdog fighting for freedom but even still. These are men he's bleed next to many years ago.
He became disillusioned with the cause. How would a man act if the order he swore his life to becomes a symbol of oppression. He humanized the wildlings and in doing so became disgusted with what the Watxh was an order that made men give up all freeedoms a man is born with.
@@Argos-xb8ek i understand that and why he hates the watch as an organization but what I mean is he doesn't even seem to pity those men who were once his brothers.
@@mitchellline4242 Thats a good question. I think that since Mance probably had early run ins with the wrights/ Others he doesn't care for the feelings of his former brothers as much as the feelings of the families, tribes and clans that are following him
I always took it as that he didn't have them, he hated what they stood for. Fighting for a king who didn't care for them. The fact that they were all killers and rapist, scum of scum. And that they loved the fantasy of killing wildings without seeing both sides of the story. He saw that in reality the wildings were infact no different. Yet they made it seem otherwise
Man you pick like all my fave conversations.. i cant believe you did the hugo wull one .. when i read that .. i was like this guy is gonna fuck some boltons up.
Mance Rayder's secret identity theories are getting ridiculous. he was not a man of mystery everyone knew he was for the last three decades. An orphan wildling boy raised by the Night's Watch. Who then became king of the wildlings. Not a man of mystery.

'Mance is so much cooler in the books man' - I always say before I remember show Euron exists, than I start to appreciate show Mance a lil more :)))
At least show Mance got a couple of cool lines. Show Euron is just terrible from start to finish.
"No matter whom the Red Keep sends, I am NOT paying taxes!"
This is a man who has earned respect.
Mance is a fantastic character.

If the rumor is true, the only reason they raised him is because they killed his family lol.

The deal I would give mance is that he can’t raid people south of the wall, stay in the gift/new gift, and help the night watch garrison the wall.

I wonder if Mance got outta Winterfell or if Ramsay really has him locked up
its gonna suck if Ramsay really has him prisoner
What is this music? It sounds so familiar and it’s driving me crazy.
Song please ?
It"s from the movie Sunshine. I think the song itself is called surface of the sun but if you look for the ost of the movie you'll find it.
