Here's a tip: pull out all the blankets/pillows and spread them out across the bed so it looks messy but still kind of piled up. Stuffed animals also help. Then hide under all of then. One time someone sat on me because they didn't notice i was there haha

When i was little a burglar came..
I was with my mom in my room
My dad was taking a shower
(The shower is inside of my parents room)
And then my mom was going out of my room when she saw an unfamiliar man holding something black in his hand and heading to the toilet
She closed my room door quietly and told me to stay quiet..
A couple minutes later
My mom asked
"Can u run?"
I said yes
Then my mom grabbed me in her hands and ran to my parents room
(P.s it was across my room)
Luckily the weird guy didnt see us
My dad got out of the shower
And asked whats wrong
My mom explained everything
My dad then proceeds to call the police
They came and..
When my dad asked why he was in our house
You know what he said?
He said he wanted to see fishes in our inside pond

When I was 11 I was at a friends house while her parents were working. We heard someone come in the house so she jerked me into an empty closet. we stayed there for about an hour, hoping that whoever was here didn't have a gun. About 15 minutes in they looked in the closet, but we scrunched up in the corner and nobody saw us. Then she mouthed "We need to make a run for it, they aren't leaving." so we checked, and it was her parents. They got home early. It was absolutely terrifying.
