MA sir ,its helpful content
.know most of our doctor community will know what to do nd what not to do during medical marketing😊👍👍
This is a much needed conversation! As a fresh grad, I'm seeing everyone around me starting their pages and posting their cases, even I was confused if I should or not (even though I don't know if my cases are good enough or what are the shortcomings) but thanks for all the essential points! It was really helpful. 🌸
Amazing content, even better personality. Learning something new everytime I watch your videos makes me wish you were my teacher at dental school.
I'm commenting for the sake of RUclips algorithm lol

Sir,
We all have been eagerly waiting for this video.
(Thumbnail is so good + the new background is awesome 😍)
I felt so happy that you made a video on another great topic & dental topics are one of my personal favourites.😄
I'm so grateful to you for uploading this amazing video.
In my opinion all the points that you have discussed are valid.👍
Clicking decent pictures of patients and appreciating fellow & senior clinicians for their work are some of the most important points that you have discussed.
Thank you for sparing time for us and sharing with us your immense knowledge, invaluable insights and experience.
The knowledge that we all gain here is something that no one ever taught us in Dental schools.
I can't really thank you enough. 🙏
You are a contagious soul that breeds positivity and your ability to mentor and motivate us all makes you special.🤗
"Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts."
-Alan Cohen
I truly appreciate your sincere efforts and kindness.
You are an inspiration for many of us and many more to come.
I wish you and your family best of good health, happiness and prosperity.
Stay Blessed :)
Stay Safe 👍
Thankyou very much for the kind words and for watching all videos and taking the time to comment on each as well. Means alot.
Hope you're doing well and your family as well :)
Are you also a dentist or dental student ?
@@DentistwithaCamera
Sir,
Thank you for your kind words.
We are all fine and I hope that you are also doing well.
You have done so much for the greater good of the society.
You are an inspiration for many of us.
I genuinely appreciate your work.
It's just that,
I take out 5 minutes once or twice a week to put that into words.
Maybe that is the least
that I can do :)
William Arthur Ward once said, “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
So, I feel it is good to acknowledge and appreciate
kind-hearted people, good work, or any amount of
small little good things
happening around us every day.
Yes, I'm a dental student and
I hope to become a good Dental Surgeon like you someday :)
Keep spreading millions of Photons of positivity:)
I wish you and your family lots of good health happiness and prosperity.
Stay Blessed :)

Hi, is your clinic in Islamabad?
His clinic is in Karachi. It’s called vanguard dental clinic.
which language is this? :))
Do you know abdul from anubhav singh bassi?
Need your help!
0:00-0:40: Intro
0:40-0:53:-
Dentistry has been one of the worst hit professions during the recent past.
Being at closer proximity to patients, Dentists are undoubtedly at a greater risk of contracting Covid infection.
This has resulted in declining patient flow at the Dental Clinics.
Owing to such problems, not many Dentists are uploading their clinical cases on social media platforms.
0:54-1:24:-
Ethical Dental Marketing
-As dentists we must know;
when and how to post a clinical case , and preferably which clinical case is suitable enough to be posted online.
- A greater emphasis should have been laid on teaching dental marketing skills in the Dental Schools, which unfortunately is lacking and needs to be emphasized.
1:24-1:27:-
Here are some Dental Marketing rules that every Dentist/Dental Technician/Dental Hygienist should know:
1:28- 3:18:-
Rule #1: YOU CAN'T COPY PASTE SOMEONE ELSE'S CASES:
-This is one of the most important rules.
- You can't copy paste someone else's case, without seeking his/her permission
-In case if you fail to seek permission or if you are unable to reach and contact the person who originally posted the clinical case,
or if you have found some older photos on some blog or website through Google search, which might have been copied several times by so many people and you can't find the owner of those photos. Then in such situations,
-You must mention the Source.
-You should mention from where and which source you've collected that photo.
-Doing this would let the people who are viewing your profile, know and understand clearly that nor the photo is owned by you , neither the clinical case depicted in the photo was done by you.
- Another major problem that you might encounter upon copy pasting someone else's clinical case is something that you might not be able to foresee at the time of treatment, but later on you might get to see the repercussions that are long lasting.
Actually, when a patient comes to you to get the same treatment that you had copy pasted from somewhere, and you are unable to do or replicate the same quality treatment for your patient, then this might backfire on you.
- Good work needs time to surface up, whereas bad work spreads like fire.
3:24-4:40:-
Rule #2: YOU CAN'T TAKE/POST PICTURES WITHOUT INFORMED CONSENT:
-posting pictures taken without patient's consent;it happens quite often in hospitals, having good patient flow.
- Whereas, such protocols are strictly followed in the developed countries where taking/posting pictures without informed consent might cause the cancellation of licencure and the Dentist being sued for the act.
- Hence, one needs to be careful enough to take/post decent clinical photos.
So that, later on such photos don't get circulated on social media platforms as memes.
4:41-4:49:-
If you are a recent graduate or have been practicing since a past few years & now willing to set up an online presence ; then please consider taking advice before you start posting clinical cases.
4:50-5:20:-
Rule #4 : ALWAYS SHOW SOMEONE THE PICTURE BEFORE POSTING:
-This is because once something is posted online , you will have to face the consequences.
-Even if you try to improve your work later on ; it would be of no benefit as people would keep highlighting your previous mistakes and shortcomings.
5:27- 5:36:-
At times we think that all we have to do is to upload the photo as soon as we finish our work.
On the contrary, we must think before uploading , whether or not should we actually post the clinical case online.
5:40 -6:04:-
EVERY CASE IS NOT A CASE FOR SOCIAL MEDIA:
-If you have done an expensive dental treatment procedure ,it doesn't always mean that such a clinical case needs to be posted online.
-It might be that after all the efforts and income generation, the clinical case wasn't something much of a significance; that has to be necessarily posted online.
6:05-7:10:-
Rule #5: LEARN TO ACCEPT POSITIVE CRITICISM:
-Mostly we don't accept criticism , as most of the people actually don't give positive criticism or constructive criticism
- Such people give criticism just for the sake of giving criticism.
- Whenever you post a clinical case online, there are chances that people might appreciate, question or even criticise your work.
- If someone genuinely offers constructive criticism, it is better for you to accept that criticism and reply by saying that, Yes this can be made better.
-If a person who never usually comments on any post, randomly starts giving negative remarks and comments in relation to your clinical case, just ignore such people.
And it is better to either remove them or limit their access to your profile.
7:17-7:47:-
Rule #6 : YOUR BEST CASE MIGHT NOT GET A LOT OF "LIKES" :
-An average not so good clinical case of yours might reach thousands of "Likes".
Whereas the best of your clinical cases might not get that many "Likes".
- If you genuinely like someone else's clinical case , then please refrain from asking too many questions.
Instead , try writing a good comment in order to appreciate their work.
8:35-9:48:-
Rule #7: LEARN TO APPRECIATE OTHERS:
-Instead of always criticising people for their shortcomings, learn appreciate them first for a little bit of good work they're doing.
-Don't compare yourself with them .
Instead, try to compare how they've done their current clinical case with all the previous cases that they've been doing in the recent past.
- Learn to appreciate those who have put a lot of hardwork in order to improve upon themselves.
-Every person wants appreciation for his work.
-Even if it is just a few words of encouragement ; a little goes a long way.
9:50-10:44:-
Rule #8: DON'T POST MISLEADING BEFORE/AFTER PICTURES:
-Some clinical pictures of Teeth whitening or aesthetic treatment might be misleading as there is only a noticeable change in the lighting quality of the surrounding environment in that photo.
- Don't fool patients with misleading Before/After clinical photos.
-To check the authenticity of any Before/After clinical photo, one must compare the area onto which the treatment has been completed in the before/after photos, other than that everything else remains unchanged in both the photos.
And if it is not so, then it clearly means such a clinical photo is not authentic.
10:45-10:49:-
Without thorough and complete Checkup never over promise anything to the patient.
10:50-11:17:-
Rule #9: DON'T PROMISE ANYTHING BEFORE CLINICAL CHECKUP
-If a patient contacts you for a particular treatment, then do not haste in fixing an appointment unnecessarily.
- Instead inform the patient about the
Pre-treatment procedure
(thorough checkup, mouth impressions, clinical photos etc.)
-Inform the patient about the possible outcome of the treatment, only if the patient is actually an eligible candidate for that specific treatment.
-Inform the patient that the treatment cannot be started without thorough checkup and consultation.
- An overpromised treatment outcome might backfire on you.
-This happens if you are not able to achieve the same treatment results that you've promised to the patient.
11:18-11:20:- No one likes Blood stuff
11:21-12:18:-
Rule #10: DON'T POST BLOODY PICTURES (without disclaimer)
-Clinical cases like Surgery might have lots blood stuff, the only way to avoid such thing is by providing localised suction or wiping and cleaning the area by using cotton rolls.
- If at all you need to post bloody pictures, then don't do it without putting a disclaimer notifying that the picture contains blood stuff.
This helps the viewer to decide whether or not they actually want to see such photos.
- By showing bloody pictures ,you can't impress the patient with your work. Again this might backfire on you as the patient who is scared will now refrain from getting the treatment procedure done.
- a slight bleeding might occur in most dental procedures. (dental filling, scaling, tooth extraction)
-The patient could have easily got the treatment done. But, just the sight of bloody pictures has put him off .
12:19-12:36:-
There are many such points that you should read about ethical dental marketing to ensure that whatever you are doing is safe and is actually benefiting you and your patients.
12:37- 12:56:- Outro
