OMG same story haha...!! I really want braces coz they attracts more and somehow i nedd them but my doctor refuse this in front of my father😂😂 and i was in massive confusion waht should i do now.?? That how i convince my father and then doctor...but then i insisted doctor and finally got my shiny silvery braces but damn so painful experience 😭 literally i won't eat even drink anymore!! So just in 5 days i am get over from this and then i never looked forward to the braces at all....now i am happy with my theet even though they are not staple and following wrong pattern..! So in a nutshell not always doctors wanted to fill pockets with money!! So trust them what they say...thanks for awareness !! That's my experience . Be natural!

I've been told by docs in clinic to convince patient for something they dont required like if no calculus and stains still do scaling and I DENIED, I SAID I WONT EVER MISLEAD ANYONE FOR sake of money and guess what i was forced to quit job which i did😂 dentistry is now a days playing with patients emotions 😢😢 and after this vdio i think i did great by quitting

This should actually be a subject at dental school. There are so many black sheeps among the dental fraternity who don't know orthodontics and in fact torture and play with young peoples minds by blackmailing them halfway through the treatment. Very very shocking and sad that she put unrealistic pressure on herself to get something that was risky for her health. She should have spoken out about her fears and self doubt more than fixing her protruded appearance. Sad!

One of my tooth is upward but my lips and jaw are In perfect shape they are not in forward position in fact that tooth dont6cause any problem just in case if I laugh too hard then it show otherwise not... And I don't want to put braces on my teeth because I am too scared of this and also worried about some people horrible experiences

Dr Faizan, I need your suggestion that the treatment I'm having will help or not. I have a protruding jaw, my lower jaw is long enough and noticeable. I had to bring my lower jaw/teeth forward in order to chew.
So I went to two dentists, they said it's a surgical case but somewhat can be fixed with braces. So, I went for braces. I need your suggestion if I took the right decision or not? Kindly reply.

This is our social stigma nowadays but to be honest most of the time this is with the person only. Allah has mad everyone so beautiful in different aspects. Also the parenting has a huge role in it we have to teach our kids about self love and self appreciation . From the beginning of their childhood we start comparing them with other kids either it be their result or anything else. I myself want a perfect smile and trying to convince myself even though all people around me appreciate my teeth and smile but I don't know what I m thinking or demanding for. Why dont we stop comparing ourselves with others. We all are different and beautiful.

Despite knowing all such things it's difficult to say no.

-people would eventually make this out in due course of time that you are not a genuine person at all.

- simply addressing the patient's insecurities and talking with them could have helped them, Instead of helping, you validated their insecurities and deliberately agreed to providing the treatment.

If you are convinced enough that the treatment which patient wants is suitable for them, then you should also look for the outcome and possible complications involved in it.
