So sad & shocked with the sudden loss of Rusty! Thank you for all the incredible music from my youth through to my 67 years! You will be missed!!
Goodbye, Rusty, rest in peace.
Rest In Peace Paul cotton. Devastated
Poco should have been bigger than the Eagles in my opinion! I actually believe I like them better. Rest in peace Rusty Young. So glad I got to see Poco a few years ago.
I have more Poco CD's then any other band except the Beatles and have seen them live multiple times. I am a huge fan. Too me the reason they didn't reach Eagles status had to do with the guitar work (I am a guitarist). I am a huge Paul Cotton fan and he wrote and sang great songs and played very solid rhythm parts. What I think maybe held back Poco's songs was not having those stellar, catchy, memorable guitar licks that someone like Don Felder added to the Eagles. Look how big the Eagles got once Felder was on board on the album "On The Border". His stellar riffs on "Already Gone", "James Dean", and the title song "On The Border" really made that album pop. After Felder left, any new material by the Eagles was rather ho-hum, and they became a live "greatest hits" band. Just an opinion!
The one Poco album that I never had was the one called Legacy. All five original members 1989. I just ordered it on vinyl yesterday.
Why cant they all just be AWESOME??
We saw Richie Furray last month, he put on a great show!
So, so sad to lose Rusty. Such a good soul. Thank you Rusty for what you have left behind for the rest of us to return to and enjoy.
Rusty Young..goodnight and thank you..sleep softly.
You will be missed..🌿
rip paul cotton you will be missed
RIP Paul Cotton
SO freakin fortunate to have been a hippie chick of that time! Im still goin to concerts all over the USA.
Poco is THE band of my years. I hope they stay
Love Poco - Blue and Grey, one of the best Albums of the 80's
I was deeply mesmerised or amazed by the vocals.
Jury is out.
RIP Rusty
Rock and Roll HOF. Somewhere between Buffalo Springfield, Poco, Eagles, CSNY. Did I miss anyone? Loggins and Messina.
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Dan Fogelberg (did I spell Dan's name correctly?).
Ya’ll named them. GREAT ! I could add:
Jackson Brown and a soloist- Joni Mitchell❤
Great set from a great band
Personnel: Nathan Russell "Rusty" Young- vocals and rhythm guitar/ Paul Cotton- vocals and lead
guitar/ George Grantham-vocals and triangle/ David Sundrud- bass and Tony Harrell- keyboards.
I'm a little disappointed George didn't give us a triangle solo.
Saw them in the 70s.
Nice job by Rusty channeling his inner
Timothy...
Why wasn't Timothy there??
@@mountaingirl1995 Tim left to join The Eagles in 1977.
