I'm just here to point out that this song was NOT written by Frank Sinatra, but by Bart Howard in 1954. It also was not first sung by Frank Sinatra, but by Kaye Ballard. Also, the song was named "In Other Words" at first, but that doesn't really matter because it was the same song back then. Don't get me wrong, I really love Frank Sinatra's music and his version of the song, but it just makes me sad that people give him credit for something he never did, and even worse: That people just forget Bart Howard and what he did for us by writing this song.

I absolutely love this song. It was my song before I went to bed during my deployment to Afghanistan when I was 18. It just soothed my soul after spending a day searching for bombs with my mine detector. That is why I downloaded it just in case if it ever got took down. I think there's afew reasons why this one is so loved
First because It seems that most think the singer in this is the best out of all the versions (I agree)
But also it is kinda apart of (what is considered by many) the greatest anime / Japanese media in history
All 26 different versions of this classic in the series is how many were introduced to the song, so it's no surprise evangelions versions are considered the best.
