- This ended up becoming a harder assembly than I initially thought, I assumed I was gonna clear up some text on the left side, but it turned out harder to clean everything up into a loopable animation. Embarrassingly, and quite obviously so, I should have noticed at first the moon and Rei were moving up and down and weren't static. Unfortunately it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, and I thought I just scrap the whole thing and call it a loss, but the initial cleanup process took me so long that I just bit the bullet and finished it however I could, but it ended up quite sloppy.

I like this version way more than the original, Frank Sinatra's cover and whoever else covered it. Actually there is a Spanish version that I put on par to this, forgot who covered it tho but my goodness it sounds just as amazing.
"Darling" fits in way better than "baby", also the lady has a beautiful voice and others in the different versions too

I love how after each episode, the ending will have a slight change I remember one time it turned red or another one where it was just completely black and it really just sets the tone of the episode
It turned red after introducing Asuka. That's one of my favorite little subtle details I've seen in a show. Really makes you appreciate how much heart and soul Aono put into Evangelion.

NGE hits you differently when you actually went through or are going through the same emotional problems as Shinji, believe me! Eva manages to be beautiful and melancholy mixing classic things and contrasting between bittersweet feelings and existentialist issues.
It takes you from contemporary complexity to the primal needs of the human being, and that can't be passed so well unless someone knows what mental despair feels like for those who don't believe they're worthy of existing. I mean I understand Anno, and I understand Shinji. That's why Evangelion is my favorite Japanese work, Hideaki was as honest about it as no other.
Evangelion has some of the best representation of mental illness and trauma in all of TV history. as someone with BPD this show killed me
I don't get the fans who trash on Shinji. Kid was in a dark place already before he got peer pressured into piloting, so why should he be happier than he was before? I'm content with how they kept Shinji a sulking mess till the end because there was really nothing for him to hold onto. Was so deprived that he obsessed over the smallest bit of praise from anyone.

Agreed, i havent experience anything similar like that (maybe I have but I didn't realize, dunno) but somehow the anime felt so relatable and it made me contemplate about life for almost 1 hour, while I just lay on the floor staring at the ceiling. My heart was so confused, should I cry or not? eventually i fell asleep.

YES! This was literally how I felt when I watched Eva like every time I see Shinji in misery I would start having meltdowns throughout the series because I relate to him so much and understand his problems so it did pain me too (except the hospital part in EoE) that’s why Evangelion has always been my all time favourite anime because of how complex it was and how uncanny everything is and also how I could relate to so many things in the series. I wished the eva didn’t end after the rebuilds but all good things have to come to an end. Evangelion has a very special place in my heart…

First, that I'm not sure why, song is somewhat "extended". Two first verses were repeated. I think it was made to make enough place for all credits, or maybe they just wanted song to be longer :D whatever it is, thanks to it we have this perfect part between second and third verse
Second change is much smaller, but more important than first one. In original they sing "In other words, baby, kiss me" and here it is "In other words, darling, kiss me". It is because original was in male voice, and NGE version have female one (or ones, there is much more than one version)
2nd line - isn't it "and let me"

I remember once I was at a friends house it was around 3 am and our 2 other friends fell asleep in the living room so me and my friend went to his room he turned on Evangelion on his tv and watched the first episode then during the second episode he fell asleep and I vividly remember I’m siting on a desk chair in the middle of his room he’s on his bed sleeping the second episode finishes and this song stats playing I’ve never felt more bliss then I did in that dark room wish I could go back to that moment.

Its 17th of May, 2021. I don't know how I got this far. The previous 3rd impact has been averted. Looks like we're rebuilding society now, though in the middle of a global pandemic. If this message survives, then let it be known that 5 early months of 2021 has been a steady progress.
This is 17 of May of 2021, after going out of the cryo sleep tube i managued to see a lot of rebuilding in society, the angels are gone for now, we dont know when will they come, but i need to continue this research, the suplies are not enought, croops are doing well, and the water is not fully contaminated, this liquid is every were, i might need to filter this water, and it seems that we might rise again.
