It was that thing you had before achievements, and trophies came on to the scene, when you would beat up hordes of enemies to awesome and sometimes funny soundtracks for the simple purpose of *ENJOYING YOURSELF*. Unlike most games today, bayonetta seems to remember this, heck, look at the weapons, guns strapped to her heels, a katana, a whip, rocket launchers (which can also be strapped to feet), ICE SKATES, claws, shotgun nunchaku, a light saber named pillow talk, and *Rodin*, 4 rings that create random angel weapons to attack with.
Preach OP! I don't like shit-ass-graphic-ridden-games these days as well. All they give is a "cinematic" feel rather than being a god damn *VIDEOGAME*. Seriously. If I wanted to go watch a movie, I'd fucking watch a movie. But these games on most of PS4 and XBONE(or the latter PS3 and 360) are giving out are fucking graphically "WOW" factoring but when it comes to gameplay they're shit. FML. At least Nintendo is going back to the roots of classic videogaming(tho ofc some games on PS4/PS3/XBONE/360 are exceptionally good with graphics all the while with good gameplay) Not here to start a war. But just giving out my opinion.
A Frank Sinatra classic remixed for a game about a witch absolutely ripping Angels and Demons to shreds. Hideki is a wonderful man and Cereza is classy af. :D

@@no-bodymr6419 I know Platinum games developed it, but it was still published by SEGA. I'm just saying, it seems interesting that so many games, whether they're developed or published by SEGA, have a consistently good track record for music.
Sega loves appealing to western audiences, that's always been true. From Sonic trying to take the American audience with his speed over Mario, to all the western movie references as games evolved to allow cutscenes and more dialog, so it makes sense westerners should find their music more appealing than companies who try a more general or eastern appeal
@@AkameGaKillfan777 Still doesn't change the fact that it's a SEGA game with kickass music. I'm just pointing out how common this is among SEGA's entire back catalog.
@The Lonely Proto bro, no it's not 🤣 Here's a little history lesson kiddo and to anyone else: In 1954, The song was written by Bart Howard, it was first titled "In Other Words". The first person to sing it on record was Kaye Ballard. Then came Frank's cover which was released in 1964. Due to popularity, the song was renamed to Fly Me to the Moon.
I talk about as a whole, the songs fitting in with the game, not the amount of songs that are exceptional. (THought I said no need for debate, but okay.)
I bought this game shortly after my grandmother died and she loved Sinatra. When I started playing and the song came on, I cried like an idiot because I felt I wasn't mourning her enough.
I never played Bayonetta before...I just knew it was a game...Yesterday I bought it for ps4 on sale for 9$....and I automatically fell in love with this Saga when this song started and Bayonetta starting being a fucking goddess. Fucking amazing. will get 2 for switch soon, and then 3 in preorder
Great Jazz standard after all. This version of Fly Me To The Moon fits perfect for Bayonetta. It's over the edge, just as the game itself. The refrain is charming just as Bayonetta herself. The intro however sounds pretty powerful and therefore is great and perfect too. I feel like the one who is responsable for this version of Fly Me To The Moon has done fantastic work.
My first time playing bayonetta i was so enthralled and I found myself saying "damn she's fucking awesome I want to be like her when I grow up" but always shot it down since i was neither tall, had long hair, wore glasses or a woman _9 years later the only thing im missing now is being tall_
I started to play it on the other day on my PS3 and the game is just amazing, there's so many combos that I can't even memorize all of them, she's so flexible, has guns on hands and feet, she can shoot from every single fucking angle possible, the action is awesome, I'm already a fan of this franchise and will support it as much as I can. That's why I'm going to buy a Nintendo Wii U for Bayonetta 2, and I ask you all to do the same, let's support this franchise and don't let it die. Because as long as we support her, she''ll keep dancing. And her theme is just beautiful, just like her.

You brought a tear to my eye :')
FML. At least Nintendo is going back to the roots of classic videogaming(tho ofc some games on PS4/PS3/XBONE/360 are exceptionally good with graphics all the while with good gameplay)
Not here to start a war. But just giving out my opinion.
^ This is how a drill works. Sing it, brother.

Never played Bayonetta, but this is seriously drawing me in.

A Frank Sinatra classic remixed for a game about a witch absolutely ripping Angels and Demons to shreds. Hideki is a wonderful man and Cereza is classy af. :D
Frank Sinatra didn't make this song.
Heatblaze comment doesn't say Frank made it
Elrics He called this a classic Frank Sinatra song.
Heatblaze Because it is a Frank Sinatra classic and not to mention many people associate this song with Frank Sinatra having it popularized it. Nothing that I said even hinted at me saying that he was the original creator. Am I wrong or am I right?
Popularizing a song doesn't make it a "classic frank sinatra" song. That doesn't make sense.

this is the comment i was looking for
The reason I'm here, exactly
The song that plays every 2 minutes, but you never learn the lyrics and it never gets old.
I've search up the lyrics and it's beatiful
It's really compressed to be audible under the fight sounds
I would play exclusively in Bayonetta's stage if this song was in Smash.
Too bad they would take out the vocals like with the other Bayonetta songs ;_;
Tbh, the stage is so bad I still wouldnt play on it
@@yoyhue1678 the thing is they can't put in Fly Me to the Moon, as well as Moon River because both of them are licensed songs outside of the Bayonetta series... That being said I don't know why Mysterious Destiny, and "Tomorrow is Mine" had to have their vocals taken out
Quadraxis yeah either this or Moon River...
Yoy Hue I mean DK rap
People that have never played the game before more than likely wouldn't think that this is a song that plays during combat sections.
when I first started playing, im like "oh.. this plays while im slaughtering angels? AWESOME!"
***** totally agree

This is hands down the best version of this song! How the heck does SEGA consistently publish games with awesome music?!
PlatinumGames made this game, also the same guy who created Dante from devil may cry.
@@jakescartoons6045 Publishing just means they put the game on consoles. Platinum Games did everything else.
@@AkameGaKillfan777 Still doesn't change the fact that it's a SEGA game with kickass music. I'm just pointing out how common this is among SEGA's entire back catalog.
Finally, the day has come where we can fly back to the moon

Not a fan of Frank, it's not even his song, but I am a fan of Eva and Bayonetta so YES!
BAYONETTA 3 BABY, LETS GO. WE FUCKING WON.
glad to see that i am not the only one coming back to hear this BANGER
LET'S GOOOO
I've been on a binge of the first 2 games because I'm so goddamn excited
Preach bruv

Game: 9.9/10
OST: 999999999/10
No debate.
You sure about that, there's only like 5 songs I come back to, the rest feel like generic bgm.
THEGAMEGOD7777 I stand by my judging, sir and/or madam.
William Bishop Sir, and I spent some time going back through the OST. None of it's bad, but there's still only 7 or 8 tracks that I'd say stand out.
I talk about as a whole, the songs fitting in with the game, not the amount of songs that are exceptional.
(THought I said no need for debate, but okay.)
+THEGAMEGOD7777 7 or 8 tracks is pretty damn good.....
I bought this game shortly after my grandmother died and she loved Sinatra.
When I started playing and the song came on, I cried like an idiot because I felt I wasn't mourning her enough.
Awwww
Was like that with my narnar (grandfather) , I found I just need space and time
We all mourn differently. You shouldn't judge yourself.

I'm so sorry. I lost my grandad in 2009. (The year this game came out for Xbox 360 and PS3)
Why we need EVAs to kill angels? We got Bayonetta!!!
Don't you mean
Team Little Angels?
Single best thing I’ve heard today that makes total sense 💗
But the angels have one thing on their side... netflix
Narukami鳴上 but bayonetta has something that netflix doesn't... THIS SONG. :(

Holy shit this song fits so well
I never played Bayonetta before...I just knew it was a game...Yesterday I bought it for ps4 on sale for 9$....and I automatically fell in love with this Saga when this song started and Bayonetta starting being a fucking goddess. Fucking amazing. will get 2 for switch soon, and then 3 in preorder

I've never be down bad for a person or a character before listening this cover
When I heard them play this song in season 2 of squid game all I thought was BAYONETTA
This is the kind of song that even it plays repeatedly you won't get tired of listening to it even a million times
Its fun to listen to this while i slashing trough mass of enemys whit hair ( im not so a big fan of the original but it fits to bayonetta)
Even after 3 games this moon song remains supreme
Evangelion: pure depression
Bayonetta: This party's getting crazy! Lets rock!
Also Bayonetta: These angels are boutta die.
I wanna feel attractive just like this song 😻

I recently heard this song again in a pretty popular video, I’m so happy that more people may be introduced to this banger of a soundtrack.
My first time playing bayonetta i was so enthralled and I found myself saying "damn she's fucking awesome I want to be like her when I grow up" but always shot it down since i was neither tall, had long hair, wore glasses or a woman

This song fits perfectly when a Russian man with glasses on reassembles after combusting into pieces by a very muscular man with a white tee.
i love how original she is
sh'e only described as poise, sassy, sexy(of course), and an awesome female character all round.
yup, you dont have many chars like that is games.
You know this song is a Frank Sinatra cover, right?
oh wait ur talking about the character, not the song. just realized that. I agree with you there.
Lol she is just a female dante but ok
I started to play it on the other day on my PS3 and the game is just amazing, there's so many combos that I can't even memorize all of them, she's so flexible, has guns on hands and feet, she can shoot from every single fucking angle possible, the action is awesome, I'm already a fan of this franchise and will support it as much as I can.
That's why I'm going to buy a Nintendo Wii U for Bayonetta 2, and I ask you all to do the same, let's support this franchise and don't let it die. Because as long as we support her, she''ll keep dancing.
And her theme is just beautiful, just like her.
Bayoneta 3 already confirmed
Noct XIII Seriously!? It is very good to hear that, gonna search about it. :)
You may want to buy Smash brothers to since she'll be Smash DLC in February.
+Vini Gers The best part was the story. It wasn't as linear as we all thought it was by hearing about the concept, but the story is one of the deepest I've ever went through.

"- So, let me get this straight: you just single handed squished that angel.
- M-hm.
- Even pierced thru it's AT Field.
- I don't even know what this means, hun.
- So, instead of just defeating the previous angel like you just did, why you spent all that time helping us sinchronizing the pilots with that song?
- Because, love, as long as there is music, I'll keep on dancing. * blow a kiss * "
