The attention to detail is amazing, previously the main character couldn't see the thestrals drawing the carriage, but after witnessing george osric's death after being attacked by the dragon, the thestrals became visible at 5:58.For those who dont know Thestrals are only visible to those who have seen death.

For someone who hasn't owned nor played a console since 2010, watching walkthroughs on YT has always been my go to every time a new exciting Triple A game is released. Of course, it has always been MK's walkthroughs that I have been watching since then due to its silent playthrough unlike those with commentaries.

The attention to detail is insane. The way the thestrals became visible as soon as he witnessed death was disturbing but cool in my opinion

Does anyone remember the Chamber of Secrets game from back in the day? The free roam aspect gives me memories of that game, hugely underrated game now. I'd love to see it ported to Series X

I don't know if you notice but the skeleton horses I don't remember their name appeared when they saw the guy die it's actually a really cool detail since you can only see them when you witnessed someone die

I thought you would have had to wait a bit longer to wail to see them. because Harry couldn't see them at the beginning of his 5th year. I thought it was more about understanding death and I would have thought that the shock of seeing somebody die would sort of stop you from being able to understand it, as Harry had done?

So first of all wow. So quick on the long play. You, my friend, are an absolute treasure. I love watching your plays.
Secondly, this game looks absolutely beautifully made, graphics wise.
Yeah, 30 minutes in it. Hmm something magical and interesting where these is going on. Totally was hatting it when heard name of the game. But totally looks will go for all the right. Didn t dislike Harry but at the end was not biggest fan and latest move were ehh. Not something to be oh my god. Hope after 18 hours feel same. But that certainly has nice fresh air when it comes to magicians. Don t like magicians with their fancy wand, robe and which house they belong to.
I knew it’d be this channel that already had full gameplay without all the streamer antics getting in the way of enjoying the visuals.!!!!

So the only thing I don't like is that the characters tell you how amazing you are at almost every turn...like EVERY turn. Its nice to heart it every now and then but its almost like this is a tale of how someone was told they are special too many times and got cocky and then became a villain

I thought nobody was allowed past bedtime outside the castle grounds let alone sleep in the dark forest where you just had a brawl with wolves and spiders. Quite intriguing
@@clairebrett6615 you do actively help him, (Moon collecting side quest) so he’s likely doing it as a favor, and as for why before that, he’s probably afraid of seeing more of the statues

Man, you upload these walkthroughs so fast! I'm not complaining though. It's awesome! I also enjoy how your walkthroughs have no commentary so there's no talking over the scenes with dialogue.
So apparently there are differences between the houses. I got a letter from a house elf and not Olivander for the missing pages and Griffindor gets a request to help nearly headless nick.
Kind of disappointed that the game hasn't bothered including things that I always imagined being able to do as a HP obsessed kid. Learning you're a wizard at 11, Diagon Alley, the train ride where you meet your new besties, taking the boats up to the castle (and the carriages in later years), learning magic from scratch, getting to do more stuff as you progress through the years.
I don't recall it ever being advertised as a "Hogwarts Student Experience" so I don't know why I'm disappointed but the idea of it being that is part of what the fandom/former fans were excited for and it feels like we've just been bombarded with a bunch of bullshit for months for a game that I'm not sure even needed to be set in the Wizarding World.
I wish you could ride the train and I hope quidditch will be a dlc and they didn’t just leave it out completely, because that’s kinda f*cked 😂

The storyline on this game is way better than the cursed child, I'd watch this if it was a series.

For a game that’s supposed to be about Hogwarts, there’s a ton of exploring random caves and dungeons that is more Witcher than Hogwarts
when fighting pensive guardian, when they making the orb, the way to destroy it is by attack it using spells that has the same color with the orb, so if the orb is yellow then you can destroy it with spells that has a color yellow in it. hope this helps

Just collected my copy of this game yesterday. Loving the graphics and attention to detail. Although the text can be a little hard to read playing on my Switch Lite.

It's crazy how many people are freaking out about the Thestrals thing at the start, guys, the game is absolutely beautiful but stop pointing it out like if it was a miracle, it's just respecting how the HP World works. It's a nice touch? Of course. It's rocket science-visionary gameplay? Defiinitely not.
Great walkthrough as always. Once you have the disillusionment spell you can open the eyeball chests. Very helpful early in the game as they each give 500 gold.

Funny how the Player is required to go on brutal killing sprees multiple times per day, yet remains completely innocent in the eyes of every NPC

@markrhodes403 ok I guess. Not everyone has the same tastes in things.
@@markrhodes403 It just feels like you're actually in control of the spells and the wand that you're using as opposed to older Harry Potter games where you'd just mash a button and have different spells be used. I also like how snappy it looks, like it's quick and responsive.
@@markrhodes403 if you play it it feels amazing trying juggle 16 different combat spells while getting hit from all sides is pretty fun

If you look at this game hoping for the depth and interactivity of a big RPG like Skyrim, you're going to be disappointed, and fairly so. If you look at this as a game like STEEP, something to just vibe in and get lost in the world for a while, you will be absolutely FLOORED away by it. My rating is 7/10 - an absolutely excellent game. Avalanche should be proud.
