I love Jimmy for these moments, where he speaks like the educated man he is about his own life or serious topics. When he shows the human side of himself.
This was great, but you know what else would be great, is a full length special of numerous comedians reminiscing about Sean Lock and their favourite moments with him.
Great to see that behind the smile and humor you are a sensitive human being with anxiety’s, doubts and fears. It takes a big man to have the guts to admit to this and give this to his fans. Good for you, you’re a bigger man than most people think you to be.
Really enjoyed the show. Watched with my girlfriend who has anxiety and was good seeing somone who can be so brave in front of a audience show the other side.
Jimmy talks smack about people for a living but the fact that so many wildly talented comics work for him consistently over periods of many years tells me that he's loved and respected by his peers .
I've spent the best part of almost a decade stuck in my house, I was watching people go completely insane after the first month and I was like "chill tf out guys! Try a decade of it then go mad!" 🤣
Thanks so much for sharing the whole interview. I'd heard clips of it before, but it was a real pleasure to listen to the whole thing. It really shows your humanity. Big love to you.
My grandad loved Ken Dodd. He’d cry laughing just trying to tell me some of his jokes. Of course I never got it at all. But was good to see my grandad laughing.
My fav comedian and I enjoyed this show but in every single interview, he always talks about his laugh and his hair. Yawn! I just saw him live and he used many lines from his tour in this interview which is understandable I guess. Still love Jimmy though!
I already loved Jimmy Carr for his comedy, but this interview really lets you get to know him. And then to find out he likes the song "I'll Follow You Into The Dark" warms my heart.
He is a f***ing beauty this guy if I ever wake up and get out of the wrong side of the bed I always put. a Jimmy Carr special on RUclips And you can then guarantee within 10 minutes I am dancing all over the living room / he is brilliant " Roy chubby brown , Milton Jones , Bill Burr & also fluffy. To me they are the best " plus the late George Carlin and not forgetting the late great Rodney Dangerfield .
You sir are the medicine in life we all use and need. A man I respect and trust to bring a smile on the darkest occasion. Stay strong 💪 and keep the content coming. And don't get bought out stay you for us all. Bristol needs a show. Let's organise a concert on Clifton downs let's make a weekend of laughs and music for us the people that need and love you
Jimmy that book will help me more than you know. I was in a similar stage just now, and have started pursuing something I’m really passionate about. Thank you for giving me that little push to go all out for my dream
Used to hate this guy because I judged too quickly - but daaaamn this guy is blessing to our society :D Doesn't care about snowflakes, and fires away - love it :D
When Jimmy talks about the super-power of the comedians and how it comes with failure, he forgets to mention, that comedy also forces you to fail. You can't just write jokes into the drawer until you "get good". You literally have to go out there, present your joke and if it's bad, then take it as a lesson. You can't make comedy alone, you need audience, unlike other skills.
I suffer from anxiety attacks as well... Thanks, I really needed this... and I'll definitely be getting this book. - Soo, what have you always got in your fridge? - duuh, the answer is obviously "air". - How do you make room for an elephant in your fridge? - well that's easy, just get the bloody rhino out first, you dumb * BLEEP *
When I'm suffering of anxiety I just look at comedy like right now, comedy always tells the truth in the most honest and cruel way possible looking directly at you, so thanks Jimmy.
Thanks Jimmy I am a fan for at least 7 years I hope when any of yu passed on some kind Person will still have all these precious Timeless Comedy Classics still playing just wish there was Less or no Swearing
There always is the stereotype of the sad clowns. RIP Richard Jeni. RIP John Candy. RIP John Belushi. RIP Mitch Hedberg. RIP Freddie Prinze. RIP Charles Rocket. RIP Chris Farley. RIP LENNY BRUCE!
Quick shoutout to Stu and his wonderful podcast, if you want to learn about comedy it’s the place to go. Hundreds of interviews with the best comics in the world.

He’s not human it’s AI and he’s a robot
@@PeasLivesMatterGivePeasaChanceActually he's an animated wooden doll.
He did lovely interviews on podcasts: Brydon and the CEO. He’s a very thoughtful, intelligent person.
Well thats my evening sorted. Thanks Jimmy, I'll stick the kettle on, I think I'm going to enjoy this
"Put the kettle on love, I'm fu**ing knackered"
Ok. Glad we know. Life is complete

@Nick F. unfortunately yes. Mid 2021, cancer.
What does that have to do with this?
@@RandomPlayIist maybe you should watch it, and then you will know.
That's a challenging wank
sat around a massive round table, everyone with a whiskey amid a room thick with cigarette smoke.
Jimmy Carr thank you for the hundreds of hours of laughter you ve given me.
😉

I've just found this and want to watch it but save it to watch without distraction.
Jimmy losing his voice after Sean.. 💖 still laughing and crying whenever I think of him..
Really enjoyed the show. Watched with my girlfriend who has anxiety and was good seeing somone who can be so brave in front of a audience show the other side.
Buy the book Jay ! I have it and it is a great read with some great advice :-)

WTG Jimmy, love the self help quotes and references that have become a great part of who we are. thanks for being you, best for you and yours.

his book is truly phenomenal -made me laugh out loud and ball my eyes out
Can we all just appreciate just how amazing Jimmy Carr is? He's a very intelligent man and an awesome comedian.
I agree 👍
Interesting that Jimmy introduces the interviewer when usually it's the over way round
Now that is a joke.
Rare
This was reaally interesting! Ive never seen this side of Jimmy Carr before.
Really loved how he defined Luck. It really resonated for me.
Watched it twice already. Excellent interview and interesting insight
TFW Jimmy starts a joke, and you're such an old fan and seen so much of his material that you complete his line before he does 🥰🥰
I was looking for the full interview, and here it is.
Indeed
You've arrived
I've spent the best part of almost a decade stuck in my house, I was watching people go completely insane after the first month and I was like "chill tf out guys! Try a decade of it then go mad!" 🤣

Wow, that coat hanger joke is going to go over like gangbusters next US tour
Oof
Such a genuinely beautiful human. What a wonderful interview.
My grandad loved Ken Dodd. He’d cry laughing just trying to tell me some of his jokes. Of course I never got it at all. But was good to see my grandad laughing.
Sounds lovely.
Excellent open interview. Love the Tesla story.
My fav comedian and I enjoyed this show but in every single interview, he always talks about his laugh and his hair. Yawn! I just saw him live and he used many lines from his tour in this interview which is understandable I guess. Still love Jimmy though!
I loved this so much. Stuart is a great interviewer, and, of course, Jimmy is always fantastic.
That TADAA at the end was the icing on the cake. I Love Jimmy Carr no matter what trouble he gets into.
Thanks for being you!
Stuart Goldsmith isn’t what I imagined he would look like
Jimmy is a fucking gem in comedy.
What would we all be doing without him?
continue our lives
I love Jimmy's humour. I have no idea who Is interviewing jimmy but he is excellent.
Great fun, great comedy, great man, thanks Jimmy.
Carr would be excellent for the correspondent dinner in DC
Can you imagine American cancel culture dealing with Carr?
It'd be *glorious*.
Like Gervais hosting the Oscars.
He's really gone with the PLASTIC half of his heritage 🦷☘️🧑🏻🔬☘️💉☘️🧑🏻🦱☘️
Thank you Jimmy, for this wonderful glimpse behind the curtain.
Great thanks for uploading the whole thing very interesting Jimmy.
The worst part about this is revelation that James Cordon is a nice guy.
Very annoying though.
If youre searching for the broken glass joke, its at 21:28. Its a shame people arent talking about it
This confirms the common knowledge that best comedians have to be articulate, smart, and honest. Jimmy Carr!!!!
Wonderful! From the clips we've seen already I can tell I'm really going to enjoy this, thanks!
Thanks for posting the full interview. I enjoyed it
I can't wait until you visit Trondheim in June. You, John and Sean totally owned the show, the magic you created, it was spectaculary.
Thanks, Jimmy. Hit me in the heart a lot of times. Cheers.
I already loved Jimmy Carr for his comedy, but this interview really lets you get to know him. And then to find out he likes the song "I'll Follow You Into The Dark" warms my heart.
"That reminds me, I must buy stamps" stolen from Stephen Fry, during "Who's Line..." circa 1988.
Jimmy is almost unrecognisable now. Quite alarming.
I'd LOVE to have a few beers with this guy.
He is a f***ing beauty this guy

Aww, yes! Thanks so much for uploading this in full. Can't wait to sit down and watch it all properly.

I love his commitment to hide his smile behind his hand. Really has a thing about been seen soft.

Jimmy i love you. But some of those jokes, are fucking dinosaurs by now mate :P
Never trust someone who dislikes Jimmy Carr 😎
way to connect with your audience, Jimmy. this was a very worthwhile watch
Please tell me there is going to be an Audible version, narrated by the man himself.
There already is. :o)
Can't help but notice all his best heckles have been in Scotland. Best crowds in the world man.
He is great. His laugh is contagious.
Like smallpox.
I’ve seen Jimmy live twice and he was absolutely brilliant both times x reminds me of the great Bob Monkhouse live and that’s some compliment
I tend to see the word how it is, and I can't really go back. 😅

Thank you to the person managing this account! This was amazing to watch. I just bought the book on Amazon and audible both!
The audience is super weird, they feel the need to fill every pause with applause
I think they were hyped up - he did a comedy gig and then Stuart came out and interviewed him
So glad you guys posted the whole thing! Really valuable

A Somali 🇸🇴 bloke here, who enjoys your comedy. Funny how I didn't notice your hair transplant just like how some people don't get your comedy.
Good interview, on both sides. Interesting, insightful, and funny. Thanks.
i love how he does callbacks to his old old old jokes
Notice how the applause only broke when Stuart started talking?
Congratulations Jimmy your doing your lad proud. 👏
Jimmy as a comedian you should already know that they are no such thing as self help, a book is help and if you did it yourself, you didn't need help.
It means not flushing money down a toilet ( AKA as going to therapy ).
Thank you sir! Was looking for this earlier today
Why does it look like they both have a rash on their faces.
Love this Jimmy came you see you in Nottingham before the pandemic loved it ☺️
Nobody seemed to have worked out what a round of applause is.
He definitely has softened
Comedians lost their minds when they came out as for censorship.
I love Jimmy Carr but this really made me like him so much more. Such a great interview.

Little Jimmy is Growing Up! 😂 I can hear the way he speak that he got a kid. Strange that! 😜
Cool! ✌
That was great. Stu Goldsmith always takes these interviews in interesting directions, and it convinced me to buy the book.
It's an interesting change to see the interviewee MC for the interviewer. I wonder why they chose to go that way.
JC did a comedy gig and then brought SG out for the interview as a 2nd half
39:09 ... bla-bla-bla...
...and, occasionally, you've got to return some videotapes. 😬 🪓
That was a treat. I think I'll get the audio version of your book - if you are the reader.

Very human and very relatable, yet disturbingly talented and hard working.
Some great wisdom in there too.
Yes, Rachel Riley.
You ARE a super star, Jimmy.
I've added both of those songs to my Spotify list to listen to
What are the chances that there would be someone in the audience with a laugh similar to Jimmy's? 😂😂😂
Yay thanks Mr Carr!! Really wanted to hear this in it's entirety
