  • Let me know what questions you have about starting SSRIs or antidepressants. As I said, I'm not a therapist or a psychiatrist and I do not intend to give you medical advice, but I do hope I can help you feel less anxious about asking your doctor about medication!

    Pro tip: make someone else read the pamphlet and tell them if anything feels funky. Your mind can create side effects out of thin air if you know they might happen

      This is a genius level tip!! I definitely wish I had done this! I create a lot of symptoms in my mind when I'm anxious!😬

    I am also an impending doom thinker.
    I have been on medication for 14 years now. I've takin several different ones and some have been great some have not been. Sometimes they work for awhile and then they stop working. I've gone up and down on dosage and added additional medication when I've hit the highest dose and needed more. My medication journey hasn't always been fun but I do know that without medication I wouldn't still be here today.

      Thank you so much for sharing your journey with me! It's comforting to hear that changing doses is normal. I'm so glad that medication allowed you to also live a happier life!🥹❤️

    i was nervous about seeking help and i did ask all my friends who take meds - i was surprised everyone is so open to sharing their experience but it was really comforting and helpful

      Omg that makes me so happy! I was also surprised by how open and willing to share their experiences people were, but now that I'm on meds, I feel the same way!🥰

    I take it for my panic anxiety. Yes about the pamphlet. I didn't finish reading it. I agree with you.

    You have described how I am currently feeling. I have the prozac but I’m so scared to start!

      @@Porter7317I did start and it was terrible for me. Spiralled me into all day panic attacks, insane anxiety and insomnia. I stopped after 3 days and it’s taken a month to feel semi normal. I hope it goes better for you!

    Hello G,
    I have recently started Prozac as well. I too started with a low dosage and am slowly building up. I am now up to 50ml. I too am experiencing really emotional periods. I am doing better on Prozac. I gotta figure out my sleep though. Anyways, just wanted to say that it's good to see another person out there on the Prozac journey. I dont feel so alone. Keep being yourself and making these videos. I love the graphic liner looks!!

    I was afraid to take it right away. Took me a couple days to start on it. Does anybody experience cold hands and feet with fluoxetine? I take only 10mgs :/

    • @Uglypugger
      @Uglypugger 7 дней назад

      Cold hands and feet is a common anxiety symptom it's basicly your body sending more blood to your major organs because it thinks you are in danger and it can make your extremities feel cold because of less blood getting pumped to them. When I started taking prozac I had quite a few of my regular anxiety body sensations for the first couple of weeks.

    I know she would be talking sense and could be really helpful to listen but damn that makeup is so distracting and I am like "Maybe someone more relatable and intelligent will be better to watch".
