A comfortline or highline is basically a ¨luxury car¨, my comfortline is super quiet and has a really nice interior. Also they can be found really cheap, i would say they're 100% worth their price and as a bonus it drinks just a bit over 4,1 l/100km so it’s really cheap to drive. as a bonus they also look good

had my highline sedan for 11 years... video makes me feel some type of way :D ...and every time i rent a brand new VW of some kind i keep thinking: "yeah this is nice, but it just doesn't give the same feeling" - the sports seat shape, the steering, the dashboard, the position of mirrors, how planted it feels on the road, - although not without flaws, - that were mostly corrected in b7 facelift - these things are better than many people would think.

i like passat's design from b6 and after but bought citroen c5 for hydractive suspension, comfort is another level and no pb so far after 180k km i like the fact that passat has 4Motion its can be useful in winter
@@ViolentTacticsNP bmp and bmm did have a dpf. Dont worry about the dpf. As long as you dont have turbo, egr and fueling issues you dpf will do its thing. Just work it once a week for an hour or so from 2k-4k rpm and you'll be fine.

You never shoot the clutch in diesel. I will not write here about it because you can search on the Internet what you can do in diesel and what not and the same applies to gasoline. At the start the diesel is weak and the petrol is strong. Diesel at about 80 km / h and above, of course ... can boast of its performance. Then don't be surprised that the clutch is at best, just the clutch ...
What the f is wrong with this passat, in second gear it barely goes 60 while mine is easily doing 80,in 3 gear it goes 100 while mine goes 120,there is surely some problems with this one Ahhh my bad this is TDI CR
I have similar or almost the same engine (CFHC) in my Golf Variant gen 6., and it seems a little bit faster in there. It might be because of the rain. On the other hand 103kw is just enough for Passat which is quite heavy. The main advantage of this engine is rather it's reliability and consumption in case you make long rides tho. As I do, I don't think I could've picked better choices for 8k € budget.

Very nice engine. Tough and economical. My A3 has the same engine, with Quattro awd. 210kph top speed. 9.1 sek 0-100km/h.

1.9 and 2.0 TDI engines have reputation for very good reliability. They are good for tunning also.

Used to have one of these used to be a decent car though needed a lot of work doing on it but had it from 87k to 180k miles
