@@nmat28 vzpomněl jsem si na své začátky ve felině a tam 120 km/h bylo jak 220 v mém novém golfu :D :D vlastně ne, v golfu se při 220 neklepe zrcátko a volant :D

Pravda je, že tím, jak je člověk relativně nalepenej u feliny na skle se opticky zdá ta rychlost prostě děsivější a rychlejší... ovšem nemužu souhlasit s klepáním zrcátka a volantu... vše je o udržbě a s novými dobře vyváženými pneumatikami a koly se vám opravdu klepat volant nebude... mohu klidně natočit důkazné video... problém dnešních dožívajících feld je, že tomu nikdo udržbu nevěnuje. Jezdí s tím dokud to jezdí (a že to jezdí dýl jak ten váš předhazovanej golf pořád akorát trojkovej třeba) a pak na to nadává... že Škodovka... že Felina... a vznikaj na to vtipy... ale co si budem... na to, kolik tomu věnujou lidi péče to jezdí až moc dlouho na těch silnicích kolikrát... troufl bych si říct, že určitě na těch vtipech něco bude, ale mělo by za nima být i množství respektu a pokory k tomu, co to auto vydrží bez špetky dobrého chování k němu...
@@gotex4_cz904 ja sem si na paradu a do ovocneho sadu a tak na prevazeni obcasnych veci a frajereni pred rokem kloupil pickupa 1.9d za 50k!! Ted by me dali tak 80k mozna i kilo. Cena jde nahoru! Krasny stav 1.9d bila, vyvarena zespodu nancerno natrena na stk se mi klaneli. Ma jen 190k najeto a dostal sem ktomu nahradni motor i prevodovkou, vse je ted ve 100% stavu nebojim se 165 po dalnicich vic to nejede :D mam tam 225 zavodni cerne r15 kola z rs130 a musim rict ze je pickup pohodlnejsi nez nova caddy je mekci nenaklani se tolik dal semmtam tuzzsi pruziny a tlumice lip se sni jezdi. Nalozim tam vic nez na caddy a caddy nakonec prodal. Zame nejlepsi pracant, nizka nakladaci hrana odvezes stim cokoliv. Ted chci nove sedacky mam vsude ledky, a verim ze bude jezdit dalsich 10 let 😉a neveril bys kolik lidi se za tebou otoci a to jedes ve felde 🙈🤣blbe je ze nikoho nesvezes nebo musi na korbu 🤣🙈

Lol, if you have such thoughts while driving, that means the car is in a shitty condition. I drove my father's Lada 2101 from 1973 with 140km/h for at least a half of 350km distance with no any problem. Felicia in comparing with Lada is autobahn car, so should easily handle up to 170-180km/h, if the motor allows it.
@@stanislavlavrynenko1547well, the motor doesn't allow it, and most of Felicias rn are probably in not so good shape, so yeah. It's more of a city car, not really meant for that kind of driving. But in good condition.. shouldn't be that bad.

Drive 2 of these brilliant Skodas for last 17 years got over 300K km done , last week on highway drove 2 hours flat out with 140 km/h, no overheat no engine issues, gear box clever ratio, hidden gem behind mediocre look....

Funny thing is most of this cars do not have the rev counter. They have clocks. :D

@@pepapacalaj3318 It depends. Usually, the 68PS 1.3, the 1.6 and 1.9 had rev counters. The 54PS 1.3 usually had the clock, unless the buyer payed extra. Interesting is that in the 1.6, the instruments had a different font and the revcounter was 1 2 3 4 5 6... x1000/min, not 10 20 30 40....x100/min.
And by the way, that thingy is green, it's probably just that in the dark it looks blue :)
And it actually worked. That engine was most efficient in 2500 +-500RPM - anything less and it didn't have any power at all, anything more was like afterburner.

I have a 1,3 MPI 50kw 2000 Felicia. It's my first car. Cheap price, cheap services, small size you can park almost everywhere, very reliable, 170km/h max speed i have see. Not bad for a 21 year old car!! And with Bilstein b4 shock absorber i have install, it can run very fast at corners!
Remember test driving one of these back in the day; was thinking of getting one but ended up I couldn't afford it; a shame I liked them. And again they were quiet for their time.
Keep it up; it's nice to see someone doing test drives like this on old cars rather than brand new top of the range models all the time.

Maybe think before you make an ass of yourself. I have no idea how much they cost brand new, I wasn't even alive back then, although just barely.
@@doctor13disco67 Thank you, I wasn't on the best money and they were the first Skoda to hit around 9 grand or so. That was around 2 years wages. I have an Octavia now; brand new was a year's wages.

regards to the car, you can really see how shitty the engines were back then. I mean, this has 70hp but it is way slower than a tiny 1.0 3 cyl new box car with 60 horses. and sounds like a diesel.
This engine has already seen 26 years of use und I asume mostly short distance drives where the engine doesnt even get to operating temperature, which increases wear.
So ofcourse its going to run rougher than a brand new engine and from its 68 horses, there are maybe 55 or so left, so ofcourse its also going to be slower.
Factory statement was 13.5 sec 0-100 which isnt that slow for a car of that class and 26 years later, it takes 16.5 sec.
@@Jack233 This engine was always lazy. It is just a bit upgraded engine from 1964 with upgraded head and MPI fuel injection instead of carburetor. And it never did 0-100 in 13.5, in reality it was around 16sec. It is just easy and cheap low reving OHV engine made fully from aluminium.

good shape ones with the newer MPI engine can actually get upto 170-180km/h
10 years ago, I went to see the Frankfurt car show in my Felicia with this very same engine and year. I decided to test the maximum speed. So i went up to 180kph on the dash and in doing so, I overtook a Porsche, who was doing about 120. He could barely believe what just overtook him :D

I have done this. I was driving my Felicia as fast it was possible, 160-170km/h, and i overtake a BMW 5series late 90's, an Audi TTS an Audi RS4, all of them were going about 120 on the highway, but the driver of the RS4 accelerated to see if it was a golf Mk3. When he saw a Skoda Felicia he laughed a lot made a sign of hello you are awsome and reduce his speed. Usually i go 90-110 max. 1.3mpi 50kw, 2000 model.

I have one like that in my barn, killed gasket maybe need's new parts but it's just like that! Fiat punto 1.1 55s 1995. Felicia je výborné, ba skvělé, auto. S hagusama, klimou, elektrikou v oknech a zrcátkách a koulej vzadu, 1,6 motorem a plyšovejma sedačkama je levná, pohodlná, odveze všechno a dá se to spravit kladívkem a sekerkou. Neskutečně levný provoz a údržba. A 150 to jede. Jede až moc, na to, co to je.

Miałem kiedyś Skodę z 96 roku. Przez okres stu tysięcy km, wymieniłem amortyzatory z tyłu, rozrząd, klocki hamulcowe, regulator napięcia alternatora. I dwie cewki od zapłonu. Tyle napraw. Olej wymieniałem co 10tys.i świece zapłonowe. Poszła na złom bo nie zadbałem o blachy. Ale kupiłem drugą z 98r. I jeżdżę nią cały czas. Skoda Felicia to samochód nie do zajeżdżania . Niema super komfortu jazdy ale jest klimat, bo ten samochód ma to coś .. pozdrawiam serdecznie wszystkich fanów Skody.

Funny thing is, when I sometimes drive 1.6 Felicia Combi (55kW) and 1.6 Octavia Combi (75kW), I think the Felicia has better elasticity when is comes to highway, than the Octavia :D... Might be with the weight of the car, but still..
